Could I just throw this out there....maybe the dev's looked at the old model and how quickly people were crunching through it and felt that they needed an artificial system to slow people down so they had more time to create content and push it out? I mean I am playing devil's advocate but was just curious?

Hi, This happened to me and I have the fix for you: 1) Ok first, run the installer like I imagine you have and nothing happens 2) Its actually unzipped the files into a TEMP folder in your profile in the LOCAL/APP DATA folder location, which would be C:\USERS\PROFILENAME\APP DATA\LOCAL\TEMP\INSTALLSWTOR (if you can't see the APPDATA folder you may to show hidden files - https://community.intuit.com/articles/1021370-display-hidden-files-and-folders-or-search-for-files-using-windows) 3) Copy that folder to your C: drive root, and then go into the folder and RUN the SETUP file, it should then install

A bit of a vague question but I thought strangers could narrow it down for me. So first what do I want? -I would like to raid but not as tank or healer but mainly DPS, at worst a tank if needed -I would like to dabble in PvP, arena's and BG's I am just curious on the DPS classes which are wanted in raiding and in PvP, or if it came down to it raiding? And which side is best, I am on the RED ECLIPSE server, so was curious is it better to go Rep or Imp for the best experience? Thanks in advance

Hi, just started on The Red Eclipse server, and started off with a marauder and was curious about the best levelling build out of the 3 DPS specs? Also how are marauder's endgame in PvE and PvP? Are they wanted in guilds or Arena teams? Any advice greatly appreciated, I have looked on the net for info and found some wonderful guides for the Marauder for the Carnage spec from a person called Aria (great guide) but not sure if thats the GO TO levelling spec Thanks

Anyone have a hybrid healing/balance build that is a mix between healing and DPS?

From my own experience everything is superior on the empire side Especially their armour sets, Republics is simply laughable, and I play Republic with 2 x lvl 50's and one lvl 40

I don't feel it so much on my Jedi Sage but thats due to long cast times and channelling abilities So I can why their is a split camp between people experiencing it and others not. It has alot to do with the class you are playing. It definitely kills PvP enjoyment, as I find myself slamming my keyboard for abilities to actually fire off. Its especially annoying when trying to interrupt a healer, when you can see the cast bar of heal and you are hammering your interrupt and all the keeps happening is the global cooldown continually firing and not the ability Its bizarre tbh

Play a Jedi Sentinel and you will experience this problem to the extreme

1000 people per side is reasonable, which I think is the average amount across the board, other MMO's usually cope with 800-1500 players per faction

Thats assuming they have been losing 4% since the very first release day? Nearly all MMO's lose a significant amount of subscribers after the first month is up, thats nothing new to the genre
