Sooooo, 6.0 and what’s good about pvp atm? I’d say gearing is slightly better than it has been and tacticals and setbonus gear make for some interesting tailoring to your playstyle. I’ll be happier to try things out in the coming weeks tho as I gear alts and get my laptop fixed, playing on an old pc sux maaaaan. I really wanna play oper heals again just seems theres so much damage output, will be a real challenge in arena...

Pretty sure I read or heard Krea gonna do darkness guide soon. But as a spec, it’s fun to play. I like to play it kinda like operative healer in the way it’s a more pro-active choice of the 3 tank specs as is op for healers, just in my (probably incorrect) opinion anyway.

Anyone tried overwhelming offense tac with the 10% armor buff set bonus gear? Seems like a great flat almost sustainable overall burst buff on paper. I haven’t even got setbonus on my mara yet, the game is getting a bit stale again for me Also gurning for a bit of Halo nostalgia with the mcc pc rerelease 😍

Tbh, I never use that utility, charge, dash, obliterate and rootbreak + 30s predation leaves you pretty mobile so I don’t think I’ve even seen the bug for that utility.

You can just mail legacy gear to alts tho right? I’m guessing that binds to legacy and bypasses the refund timer?

Sin tank and op heals always seemed to synergise nicely, I would often have fun playing either of those with a friend. I can think of a few notable examples of good players rolling these class/specs and really contributing to a teams success!

Just pvp, I don’t have time to invest in ops n stuff. And I’ll only want the class specific set, if I level up something else I can grind out some gear easy enuff with the generic 306 stuff I have on my operative. I think I’ll go with the increased dmg 10% set and see what that’s like in different specs

Hey guys, was just wondering what would be a good generic set of gear for Mara considering I’d like to play Anni a bit more again as I miss the target dot swapping playstyle in wz’s. I’m thinking descent of fearless and maybe undying cloak tac or even life warden as we lack a combat heal (except the utility on saber ward). Also any recommendations for alacrity/caps?

Sins are ok, I did 10-12k dps today on a vg dps, mara and operative just on lowbies for some cq mats farming and I’m like moderately skilled even on my best day 😅. Most dps specs seem around the same capabilities numberwise, ofc u will get deleted vs 2 or 3 dec sins but same can be said for any stacked dps class

Yeah it’s really nice to have a few different options depending on scenario or playstyle. I also recently got the cell burst one but haven’t really used it much although I imagine it’s great for trash mobs in ops and padding numbers in pvp dependent on what percentage of the spread, too much could be overpowered

I guess it’s setup to test how much it can actually put out, they have 4 healers who did nothing but stack up and just spam heals while the dps go ham on dots/aoe.

Yeah, I have both those. Been using Volatile strike to open from stealth in pvp and keybinding acid lash to vanish, equip and lay on the sustained dmg after initial burst. I still need to practice a bit with it but its fun for 1v1's xd

Opinions guys? I like the burst on the insta-space aids injection, but the overall dmg seems higher and a bit more fun using acid lash

Welcome back! There’s a bit of inconsistency regarding pvp guides, in that, not all classes have up to date guides on certain sites so it’s best to just search via class. Alternatively you can join a pvp guild or ask a regular streamer for advice, normally they are happy to help! If ya get really stuck, I can offer advice. But bear in mind some stuff may change as of the new expansion on Tuesday.

I quite liked the little explanations on that thread, if they play it, I guess they must do, just at a mediocre level I can’t say anything though as I’m not a great player but I still have fun pvping most of the time so will enjoy testing out the new bonuses/tacs 😁
