  1. Wow... The guild summit got me all excited but this video made me drool
  2. My friends and I play 3-4 Republic characters and 3-4 Imperial characters each on the same server. Would you consider the idea of allowing "marrying" two guilds of opposite factions on the same server for communication purposes only, like an /interguild chat or a "blue guild chat" and a "red guild chat" on both sides? We are usually split between the two guilds and it is difficult to communicate properly.
  3. I am not a fan of the "limited time only" items. I may have 5 mil credits to buy what I need but the next player who is just starting may never see the "white crystal/insert random item here" they so much want for their character. Even if these items appear for a limited time once a year, it is still very frustrating to wait for something that is purely cosmetic. Making people stand out in a game should be from achieving something - even if it's just achieving in collecting a large amount of credits - not because they were lucky to meet the requirements at that specific time. Having said that, I am happy to see speeder licences 1 & 2 lowered, although I'd like to see a slight speed increase per tier as well. The knock down protection on tier 2 and especially on tier 3 is nice, but the speed difference is negligible. Finally, I am very excited to see more colours available to all (bar my first point above). Now, if you could also remove the stupid enrage timer and find intuitive ways to make boss fights challenging, you'd have a guaranteed renewed subscription when my sub expires
  4. First week that I was slightly disappointed. The previous two weeks I really enjoyed the answers. This week, they chose to repeat things they have already said just because it's coming soon - or because people don't know how to read, or don't care to. Still, it was very exciting to read "4 pages of notes just for crew skills". I just wanted to see more information about orange items, receipes and augment slots. Unless they allow every possible design in the game to be learned as schematic, I don't see it working very well.
  5. There is something I wanted to ask since I read the upcoming changes to crafting skills. I was very excited when I read that we will be able to craft orange gear with augment slots but at the same time I love some of the orange gear that I have found in certain missions, raid or pvp. These designs don't seem to appear in the game at the moment as schematics. Will you allow us to learn the schematic for every orange item? If yes, how is it going to work? If not, would you reconsider for a solution for us who are vain enough to care more about our looks than our stats but still feel left out without our augment slots? (Otherwise, this would mean only very few items will be used by most players, since they would eventually be crafted with an augment slot and raid/pvp sets will not be used.) Thanks
  6. I totally agree with the original post. The Rage mechanic is ridiculous and takes the fun out of the game.
  7. Yes please. Electrostaffs for my crazy friend who doesn't like using lightsabers on his Shadow xD It makes sense really...
  8. Sorry, I didn't read the whole thread. Just wanted to say that I have a friend who wants to play with an Electrostaff. Many abilities and skills require doublebladed lightsaber, so he needs to choose a very particular type of playstyle to make the character work. Even though I appreciate that a Jedi needs their lightsaber, giving the option to allow those skills and abilities with a weapon you are already proficient with could make the game a lot more fun for some people without taking anything out from the rest. Not everyone likes lightsabers...
  9. Thank you so much for this immediate and to the point response. I have seen other developers acknowledging the issue quickly but very rarely I see the developer delivering a solution so quickly as well. Not to mention a solution that is more or less what most people have asked for. You are still number one for me, Bioware.
  10. I play a Shadow. Thanks very much for the responses.
  11. Hi I just wanted to ask whether the Defense stat works against flashpoint and operation bosses. Does maximing out help? Do these bosses use a different mechanic, do they just bypass your defense and shield/absorption are more important against them or are they just like any other enemy? Thanks
  12. Indeed. I wanted that robe for the looks so I can put my own mods. But maybe I will find better looking ones. Thanks all
  13. Thanks for the replies. I remembered that it started with "Omen" so I searched a bit and found that the name is Omenbringer's Robe. I'm sure it's this one now because there are photos attached. It was a reward from the final Gree mission. Does it drop as random loot or from other missions or can I craft it with Synthweaving?
  14. Hi With one of my characters, I Ctrl+clicked on an armor and liked it, but I accidentally picked up another reward. From what I found on various sites, this armor is a reward from that mission. Does this mean I can never get a chance to pick it up again? It was an orange armor that looked really sweet. I can't remember the name unfortunately. Do all mission reward items also drop in other places? Or would I need to restart a character to get that reward for that look?
  15. I figured why I hate it so much. It's number 2 below: 1. When you use something that is on global cooldown, everything goes dark. 2. All global cooldown icons start lighting up gradually. 3. When global cooldown is finished, you see the flash on all of them. If they went dark, stayed dark, and flashed, maybe it would had been better. I still prefer the old style, but at least this way would have been better. The gradual lighting up though is what causing the problem for me. I need the icons to stay still! This is too much going on. Please fix this...
  16. I absolutely despise the new flashing effect when the cooldown ends. I've played for 15 minutes and not only my eyes hurt, it actually makes it harder for me to know what I need to click next. That's because: - I can't look at the icons without my eyes hurting/blinking - While on cooldown, the icons become so dark that you can't really see which is which! I play 8 different characters, do you expect me to memorize everything at every level up when I move icons around? This change is not a good thing, please change it back asap.
  17. I think the title says it all. It would be extremely useful if we could get in the future a small sized shared bank for all characters on the same server - regardless of faction. Or just having the ability to send mails to our own characters - regardless of faction. I don't really like the time sink or the effort needed to use the Nar Shadaa network. I want to have characters of both factions on the same server and this "feature" that prevents me from sharing items between my characters is really a black hole of boredom in a universe of amazing content and fun. I'm sure some people agree and some people disagree with me on this. No idea what the majority feels towards this, but for me it's quite important. Hope to see this in a future update. Thanks for reading.
