  1. It's always strange to to me see the "metrics" argument being made. Sure the amount of people who do higher level raiding is small, but that's because the content cycle has been insanely slow and during some periods it was non existent. The game had a lot of raiders before 4.0 and a huge amount left due to no new raids for several years. Bioware focused entirely on solo story during this time. Of course the raiding metrics will be bad when there are no new operations. It is extremely important for an mmo to have aspirational content, but with the removal of ranked pvp and the lack of new operations, there is absolutely none. Even having aspirations for cosmetics is out of the picture due to 90% + of it being cartel market exclusively. The game needs to have something for people to work towards.
  2. As the title suggests, the season rewards on a couple of the achievements are bugged and not granting any of the rewards. https://imgur.com/a/tu64Kdj In the screenshot you can see that the rewards say "undefined" and the CC/requisitions grants are zero. I hope this gets fixed

  5. Would it not be a good idea to just remove AoE DR across the board (it has been a balance issue forever)? They could then balance the raid DTPS accordingly. Just my thoughts.

  10. It depends how people define exploit. Everyone seems to have their own definition and people pick and choose which cheese is fine to them and which isn't. There are double standards everywhere in these discussions. Is kiting the boss something the developers intended to be an option? clearly not as they are removing the possibility. Does kiting take advantage of any bugs/glitches? No. I think the worst part about kiting is that it removes the output check entirely from DPS due to the boss having 15% increased damage taken for the majority of the encounter. For example, last night I played my lethality operative and healed almost the entire time and we never came close to the enrage. While it is nice having different ways to do the boss, I don't think kiting was a healthy solution. My bigger complaint is that Bioware suddenly cares about the state of the operation 10 months into the tier. The entire operation is the most cheesable one they have ever released. Things should have been fixed ages ago. What was the point of an extended PTS cycle if they never fixed anything we reported? And yes, I am on a team with Jaydenz on SS, but it was Origin on SF that created the kiting strat
  11. As the person who created the kite strat, It's for the best that it's getting removed. On the other hand though, it's funny to see the hypocrisy in this thread. People acting like they didn't abuse the red exploit and then defend its usage on the progression thread 9 months ago

  13. Just want to share my thoughts on another bug that is being heavily abused and glossed over. On huntmaster when you knock lurking beasts into the water, it is supposed to grant ~ 700,000 hp PER add to Shelleigh. Currently, whether you knock in 1 add or 20 adds, it is still granting Shelleigh only 700,000 hp. So if a group knocked in 20 adds, shelleigh would have 9.2 mil hp instead of 29.5 mil hp. Knocking in so many as several groups are doing would make the fight unkillable even if you were knocking in the maximum amount of birds allowed for a kill. This bug was reported and acknowledged months ago on the public test server and it was not fixed in any of the refreshes nor the live patch. The raid really wasn't in a state where it was ready to be released
  14. Fury actually got buffed, cascading power damage went from 5% > 10% EDIT: This actually just got reverted as of the most recent update, so nevermind
  15. Just wanted to point out that the Brutality passive for rage still says it is giving 10% extra crit chance, NOT 15% on the PTS. Also i had read a datamined post earlier that mentioned the buff to cascading power (5% > 10%) which IS reflected in game, however not in the original post here. EDIT: These how now been fixed as of the most recent refresh
  16. I also hope the cutscenes are not removed as a result of this change. They are some of my favorite missions in the game. It was already disappointing to lose the turn in cutscenes from heroics.
