Personally I have always thought they should add a couple of different classes based on: 1) Wookies for the republic (like a Wookie monk or something) 2) Assassin droids for both sides...kickass customizable droids...

I take Dark Ward even though I most often use a focus. In addition to the fact that it does help a little in PvP, especially with the use of a shield - The talent combines with Lightning Reflexes to help you gain back a little force. Its a no-brainer imo, and not taking it is silly, even if you just map it to the same key as your Deflection. Saying that shielding doesn't work in PvP is wrong. It does, just not on all types of damage. For instance, Ataru form procs for the Marauder were just changed to weapon damage. There are other classes (hello snipers) who also do a ton of weapon damage. YES SHIELDS WORK in PvP. The only argument worth making is whether or not the extra DPS (focus) is worth more than the extra defense (shield)... That is a pretty damn standard argument in MMOs nothing to see here...

I am still having to clear out long chain quests from my log...I PvP 95% and now am having to spend time on your silly "kill monstrosities" etc. quests and they go on and on and on and on and on...you get the picture. Please have your devs make a side note that quests that you pick up should be abandon-able at any point. Suprising that a relative moron like myself has to tell you this... If there is some miracle way to clean this plague from my quest log someone please tell me, am fed up. I have 15 of these in my log, I heard this was fixed? Fix was a fail. Oh, and all you dudes out there who cry "fix my class first" pls take your whining elsewhere, I don't care if you want an iwin button first, you are bad and I would rather have a functioning quest log so I can pick up the bizillion Ilum quests, my dailies, and weeklys etc.

They should put an announcement system, or something that shows when an 8-man is in Que - so that other guilds can assemble to challenge them, or even pug out spots if you only have 6. If there is an announcement in Ilum, and on the Fleet, then you will see plenty of balanced PUGs assembling (i.e. General: PuG 8v8 needs 2 heals)... I think if BW takes my advice, they should refrain from posting the name of the premade, it should just announce that there is X 8v8 premades waiting for opponents...

Gawd...it wasn't you, I am on Jung Ma. I don't have a huge problem with it, nor did I suggest removing it. Also, it doesn't seem to be that hard, so far I am 2 for 2. Once everyone starts doing it, you will need to find something else to base your self-esteem on...I suggest you start looking now.

Was playing my Repub alt today...attacker in Voidstar - and was the first person to the bridges. I activated my bridge...literally just as the red shield across the bridge goes down... We have a bomb planted!! On our side (bridge side) nonetheless. So I look over @ the other bridge...its not open yet, and why would this guy run over to our side anyhow? So how did he get over to that side, plant a bomb well before the bridge was even extended? No, I wasn't lagging. No, he didn't have faster force speed than me.

Don't know Lightning Sorc tree much...was it mostly AoE? DoTs? ...but also - its an interesting, if informal - testament to the questionable value of DPS numbers. I don't have a huge problem with them, but they aren't a free kill for me. I have to work a bit. I interrupt their FL, their Heals - using my interrupt, electrocute, KB...manage my bubbles... Its all hands on deck for me to beat a good Sorc.

Takes 3 hrs to get a char to level 10...I personally will not consider you an altaholic (meaning, I will deny the validity of your condition, and society's responsibility to provide treatment)...unless you have 5 characters 30+ and none @ 50. That would be a true altaholic. And yes, it would be brutal to be stuck in such a hell.

Ok, I am not hatin - I realize that you are trying to show damage numbers in the vid, and its awesome for that... But, watching 3 mins in...and few/NONE of your opponents fight back. Or you are part of a grp 4v1ing them. Go roll a Sorc. Personally I think Sins get harder in PvE for a while yet... Maybe you will like a class where you can send your tank pet and then sit there healing him ad nauseum until he kills the mob = SORC lol...it does make things easier imo. If you have a change of heart and decide that you are the problem, and not the class - which would be a minor miracle on these forums - and want to work on improving...see 1 step program below: Step 1) please switch from Lightning Charge to Dark Charge. Before your pet dies, activate your 20min CD. Let me know if this doesn't work, will have additional advice at that time.

^this. The gear at lower levels is fine, and in my opinion - even then a little too garish. I think that you should START OUT wearing a Mech-Clown suit, and get down to Darth Maul's (Assassin) black robes, or simple Darth Sidious (Sorc) robes when you hit level 50 PvE/Raid/BM PvP gear...

Saw a thread about this a while back...someone with both toons, same level, same gear...tested it out on the same target. The values were the same, so no I don't think it is working. Has that changed post 1.1.2? Not likely, wasn't in the patch notes. Also - how hard is it to edit the text file associated with the tooltip? ***...gj Is my math wrong(?), or should 25% each level should make for an increase of: 100 base damage (not exact, just for reference) (Assassin training 1) +25% = 125 (Assassin training 2) +25% = 156.25 (Assassin training 3) +25% = 195.31 Are there more than 3 Assassin trainings? If so, the damage, compared to the sorc one, should almost be double.
