  1. Impossible to develop unless you hoard a bucket load of dollars/euro into the project add to that, that you need to build a whole wardrobe system around it (like Valve did with Dota 2). It's not something you can just slap together now also how would you actually produce the sets with your idea? In Dota 2 it works in this way; Valve picks the winner that gets the most vote out of all the sets each week or month and push them to the live servers. However the wardrobe feature in Dota 2 is extremely robust with very set rules on what you cna and cannot do, this to ofc limit the crazy things you can do and actually make sets work on the characters. However AGAIN Dota 2 were built already from the start with this system in mind. When valve and Icefrog started to work on Dota 2 engine they had already then made up the idea to have a wardrobe system thus every hero in the game were designed with this in mind that's also why some heroes like Nightstalker have had problems with his wings dissapearing or female heroes loses their hair on their portraits when they die (wardrobe bug). In Dota 2 every limb is exchangable. They don't just slap some bodysuit on the character like WoW does. When you pick a set item like a weapon or legs or arms that specific part of the hero is switched out individually. It works when you have a set max of 10 heroes on the screen but imagine when you have 150+ people standing on the fleet and the poor server/your computer have to start reading information about every single character that have totally individual pieces of limbs attached to them. RiP in peace server.. I'm not against the idea ofc because it would be cool but it's not realistic, it's not revenue efficent and it's just a waste of resources as in time and money to push this add to that, taht it might not even be possible to do something like thissince TOR engine were not built around a sandbox wardrobe feature. As much as I loved the character creation system in City of Heroes/Villains the adaptive system in TOR is more then enough. All we need is MORE sets to choose from because you can already mix and match to your leisure. We just need more things added.
  2. I'll bump this thread with saying this; Please add the "Nariel Pridence set" that is also used by several NPC's with a variety of body types back on Tython. The set pops up on other planets as well like Nar Shaddaa where the Jedi Knight trainer wears it. The day "Nariel Pridence set" is in the Cartel Market I'll roll me a Jedi Knight.
  3. If you're having credit problems then you're doing it wrong. I'm a returning player as well and clearing all dailes (excluding revan expac) solo on my lvl 60 Sage nets me around 700-800k a day (including loot credits and selling loot). It's way more when you have the weeklies as well. I've managed to purchase both the Kalakar Strike Fighter for 3 mil credits and the Ceremonial Mystic Tunic that had went down on GTN to 2.5 mil when I finally decided to buy it this week. I also spent 500k credits yesterday in a half hour because I was unsure how to dress my new female Sorcerer and kept rebuying dyes and testing out different clothing. 800k daily for 2 hours work on one character. Now as I'm levelling up a Sorcerer I will eventually have 1 Sage and 1 Sorc which will net me with at least 1.4 mil credits a day for about 4 hours of dailies. The obvious trick is to when you find something you want you keep on stalking the GTN and buy the item you want when it's as low as possible. I waited to buy the Czerka Commuter until it was down to 35k credits from 300k shortly after I bought it it went back up to 300k. Same story with the Kalakar Strike Fighter; it cost 5 mil for days, I was willing to buy it for 3mil and just waited. Boom! One day it was down to 2.4 mil and then I bought it without even blinking. This game literally hands you wealth on a silver platter for extremly little work on your side. I love doing the dailies as well which helps ofc but still. Everyone can be rich in this game for very little work required. You don't have to flip items on GTN, you don't have to craft, you can just do dailies and swim in money.
  4. It's Friday, Friday Gotta get down on Friday Everybody's lookin' forward to the weekend, weekend Friday, Friday Gettin' down on Friday Everybody's lookin' forward to the weekend
  5. Ok sorry it's a recolor of Revan's helm and I never said I was against adding it to the game as a separate set. You my friend is reading between the lines and finding things to whine about just to whine. The reason I said "it's already" in the game is that the difference is so small that I unfortunately doubt Bioware will add it. If it was up to me I would have added all the old Columi/Tionese set, all the Battlemaster sets and so on and so on to the Cartel Market in packs so as you might see I'm not against adding them. I'm just saying "don't get your hopes up" because Biowares track record is; add stuf that noone wants instead of skim through the forums and see what ppl are asking about. And if they don't want to add something because of "lore reasons" then it might be a good idea to make an official statement where they say this so people will stop being annoyed waiting for things like "Real Jedi Robes" which will probably never be added.
  6. That's why you buy the Kalakar Strike Flight Simulator ! Well.. Ofc there are some problems with clipping through the Kalakar as well mostly; long capes clipping through the floor of the mount It's not as noticeable though as with speeders add to this that the mount is epic in itself. My best mount purchase in any MMORPG ever! IMAGE link of the Kalakar Strike Fighter Simulator
  7. 400-500 euros to spend like that each month? What are you... An Emperor? An oil Sheik? In the real world we have parents working 2-3 jobs every single day of the week that can still not make ends meet to put food on the table and put their children through school. Most people I know that is working full time doesn't have 400-500 euros to spend like it's toilet paper every month. If you have that much money; how about sending some of it to organizations that will support and look after people so they won't be put out on the street? I hold no ill-will towards you OP but it's making me rather uneasy reading your post where you are openly stating to everyone that you can without any second thought spend 400-500 euros a month like it's monopoly money when we are all currently living in a real world situation that haven't been this bad regarding rich vs poor in years. edit: while I got a little off-track I read your post but I don't know what Bioware's stance on the matter is. It's so easy to make several millions in this game just from doing dailies so I don't really think the slot machine will break anything even if you get a lot of credits out of it. I
  8. I agree with the OP but it doesn't look very good atm... They even put Jace Malcom himself ingame in the Cartel type of Trooper armor which leads me to believe that the Armor in game is infact supposed to be the one in the trailer, still however there is a lot of difference between the Stalwart Protector and Jace's amor in the trailer. But I /sign this thread because I would also like to have the trailer specific armor
  9. Fair remark The reason my character is wearing an officer uniform is to not look like the "standard" Trooper. I have always had trouble "RPing" (only done in my head) a character if the look of the character I'm playing doesn't feel correct to how I envision them. It doesn't help either that in this game more or less all of the Trooper armor looks the same. Even in the Clone Wars animated show there was a very fine difference between the armor Commander Cody wore and the armor his troops wore to battle. You could instantly see even when Cody had his whole get-up on that he was of higher rank then his men. It's true that it would be very disadvantageous to wear a uniform as a Vanguard like my trooper to close corner (what about Scoundrels then? They even have less high-tech gear then Troopers) battle but I'm using it as a RP reason to show that she is infact the leading officer of Havoc Squad. Because of her rank it can be imagined that my character is today probably more of a military strategist that is commanding her squad firstmost and engaging herself in battle secondly. Like they say in the animated Beowulf movie " My Lord, the king must not engage in direct battle". I also imagine that wearing the Republic uniform can certainly be adventageous when interacting with locals and different types of authority because you can indeed prove that you are a high-ranking officer that is representing the Republic on offical errands.
  10. No this uniform doesn't exist! What I posted in my OP and what most of you that replied seem to have missed is and I'll quote myself; "I am very aware of the CE Officer and the Fleet Commendations Officer uniform but unfortunately they are not close to this specific uniform." There is no way for the player to get this specific uniform currently which is a shame because it's the best looking Republic side. How can I give more proof that it's not the same uniform? For one my female trooper does infact wear the fleet commendation uniform ingame. I'll post pictures of both the CE Vendor/Fleet Commendation republic officer uniform (which both share the same model with minor differences) and I'll also post the Ord Mantell republic officer uniform: IMGUR of the CE Vendor/Fleet Commendations Republic officer uniform IMGUR of the specific Ord Mantell officer uniform As you can see from the pictures the CE Vendor & Fleet Commendations uniform(they are almost the same) are more of a... I'll call it a Hakama top for lack of better words... The one I want is the one that Aric Jorgan wears which is the Ord Mantell uniform which also is the same very uniform that General Garza wears although hers is all beige. Would be nice to see it in the Cartel Store that's all I'm saying
  11. Sure, why not? Personally however I would probably only use a cigar on my female Trooper because my female Smuggler just look so "smug" (lol) with the toothpick in dialogues. /signed
  12. Ok cool that you added these but... Please can't we just get the real Dark side now a.k.a; Darth Zash and Darth Malgus. This topic have been brought up several times since this game were released and I just don't agree with that the ingame corruption system already fulfills this request. Just take a quick look at a lot of Sith NPC's that are somehow magically able to maintain darker skin colors and at the same time have red eyes while we can't for some very weird reason. Can't we just fix this whole thing by adding a set of yellow eyes with a red border (again the same eyes that Zash and Malgus have in the game) and call it a day? I would easily pay 1400 CC if I could get this option in the store and finally be able to stop having to constantly balance Dark and Light points on my characters that are all Brown skinned so I will be able to stay on Dark 1 where I have orange eyes but still maintain my original skin color. Please?
  13. Same here no lag or mail or ability delay. Playing currently on my lowbie lvl 27 Trooper but I've done a run of dailies already on my Sage and neither Makeb or Section X were lagging which are usually the two planets out of all the daily areas that use to lag for me since 3.0.
  14. Voice acting itself might not be that expensive but couple that with having to make 3 conversation options for every convo opportunity including flirts and dark side/light side, and I wager that it cost a bit. Then you need to decide which companions will give you affection on what choice etcetera. Regarding class story it would be epic but the draw back is ; what more is there to tell now? It's kinda the same thing with companions; I would love more story for Aric Jorgan, Kaliyo and Dorne for example but in all seriousness what more is there to tell about them? You'd have to start pulling story out of your a-ss just to make it happen. That's kinda what the Mass Effect games did. They really should have stopped after the 2nd game not only because the 3rd was terrible in itself but because the Shepherd story had been told to ad naseum through the 1st and 2nd game and come the 3rd it was just so uninteresting to do everything over again. Each SWTOR class gets drawn into the galactic conflict towards the end which I personally really enjoy because it's less about your little own world in your glass bauble and more about what happens in the entire world.
  15. Again you don't think I work? Hint 1; I work in a restaurant Hint 2; Since the restaurant is new it's not uncommon that I have to work for 10-12 hours a day during 7 days sessions without a day with break add to this that I have a minimum wage which means I even if I bust my behind off I sitll don't earn much Why do I do it? Because I love the people and the place. Funny thing is; I still have time to sleep and do dailies! PS: You also say that "It is not worth you time to do stuf you don't want to do" well so don't do them? Noone is forcing you to get a lot of credtis because beyond buying expensive adaptive armor, mounts and decorations, there is not that much to actually spend credits on in SWTOR. Note that when I say "not that much to spend credits on" then I mean as in; because Bioware removed skill training cost there is actually very little in the game that takes away your credits. That's the key word here YOU are the one that is saying that YOU HAVE TO. Noone else ever said that you had to earn a lot of credits. Nothing in the game punishes you for not having millions of credits. Again YOU are the one that have decided that not having credits is the problem and instead of using the tool there is which is; hundreds of thousands of credits for "free" each day you want to buy to win. Why do you think I take time to do dailies each day? Because I enjoy doing them. As weird as it might sound it's true I ENJOY doing them, it's relaxing to me and and doing a daily session is when I just relax and get ready to go to sleep. Trust me when I say; if I personally didn't enjoy doing dailies then I wouldn't do them it's as simple as that. If you ssly believe that pushing numbers in a video game is as much work as your real job then I dunno... MMORPG s have always been about some "work" (if you want to use that word). In every single MMORPG to date and especially the old ones you had to grind. SWTOR have literally ZERO grind andthe gmae is giving away welfare millions because dailies is so profitable and still that's not enough?
  16. You don't think I work everyday and hang out with friends? The fact is that you the only time you would not have 2-3 hours to play the game is if you are either away the whole day or you are father/mother to a baby child. Usually people spend 3-4 hours a day watching TV after dinner. Either you do dailies or you watch TV or you have a laptop so you can do both. All I hear is exuses =)
  17. 1/10 because of the effort 0/10 for trying to be a smart a ss
  18. I've been here since release (Founder) and as "lame as it might sound" I have actually not that much to complain on regarding this game. This is thanks to the new dev team who have worked like ants to pick up the pieces and fix the broken shell that the original team left them. Ofc, one should not disregard that the original team created a great game and built a foundation but the issue was that the team either didn't have the knowledge to pull this project off or maybe they were just arrogant and uninterested in hosting a MMORPG. Whatever the reasons might be the new team is a god send and they really IMO turned this game into gold. Just adding adaptive gear and keeping expanding on it is genious because this means that you can literally create your "perfect character" at level 1 instead of having to grind to max level just to get options on what to wear. Why is this perfect? Because this adds to the RPG elements of the game. When we played old pen n paper games at our friends home or played Planescape Torment, Baldurs Gate, Icewind Dale on PC we never "grinded endgame Tier" to look cool. I do ofc believe that the endgame gear should be special and cool because it should "feel good" to get them but that doesn't mean that you need to look like a missmatched fool throughout your whole leveling experience. This is a story driven RPG after all thus looks become important. Personally, still after all this years I am not done with the class stories. Lot of this have to do with me switching characters back and forth and rolling several characters of the same class to see the class stories several times. I understand I might be in the minority with enjoying constantly doing new alts with new outfits to play different characters RP-wise. It certainly won't appeal to anyone. I used to play World of Warcraft a lot and returned to it both during Mist of Pandaria Siege of Orgrimmar and Warlords of Draenor but WoW have burnt me out in a way that everytime I try to do something in that game it's like I'm getting stressed out just thinking about it. There's something about the lockout system and how the game is not a RPG. Its smart enough to "force" to login each day but the result is that you do not really enjoy loggin in. You simply do it to be able to catch up through progression and outside of dailies there are really nothing to the game because RPG and story is non-existant especially in the newer expacs outside of the written novels you can buy in a book store. That's what I really enjoy both in SWTOR and in ESO (Ye I know! I am one of those that enjoy ESO!) that the focus is on story which is what RPGs are all about and the games themselves are open enough and the content is wide enough that you can approach the game from several angles. SWTOR and ESO doesn't have a game that revolves around speed grinding to max level so "the real game begins". As much as I think that there is a shame to that MMORPG developers have gotten stuck (not their fault) in the endgame tier grind formula and lost the story telling part of RPGs I understand why people want that and I don't want to take that part away from them. I just want MMORPGs to have other parts availible as well and thats where I think both SWTOR and ESO have their strenghts because they both manage to have a interesting RPG experience while levelling up (which you don't feel that you have to grind through as a means to the end) but they also have group systesm through Flashpoints and OPs with different difficulties for those who want to try to beat the best of the best to get the best of the best. The stories in SWTOR IMO is varied enough (subjective ofc I understand that not everyone agrees) that running a class more then once doesn't feel the same each time regarding on your RP in dialogues with NPCs. Playing through Nar Shaddaa on my new Scoundrel and my new Vanguard feels totally different because even if I've heard the sidequest dialogues before my characters are very different in that one is an opportunist that won't say no to bribes as long as it doesn't involve hurting innocents while the other one is pretty unforgiving against defectors and threats against the Republic and can be kinda heartless at times because of her stuck-to morals of superiority and seeing herself as the true bringer of justice. I'm not saying that there isn't issues like the lag and bugs that have been present since the release of the game, badly implemented Corruption system (which has potential but needs to be redesigned), a social system that got left in the dust etcetera but all in all I can honestly say that this is my favorite modern MMORPG and that I'm still here playing (and enjoying doing dailies on my max characters each day!) really says something.
