  1. The reason is the servers were brought down a second time for the following reasons: 1. The Black Hole Content has been completely removed from the game. 2. Legacy Vendors have been completely removed from the game. 3. Guild Banks have been completely removed from the game. 4. Various environments and environmental effects/items have been rolled back to pre 1.2

  4. Considering that it takes TWO MONTHS on average to lvl a character, what did you expect? That everyone would just drop everything in their life and speed lvl the character so that they could test your end game lvl stuff for you. Anybody could foresee that this was going to be an issue since you had no way of getting to endgame content quickly (unless you were part of an elite guild that got granted special permission) I think you are exaggerating to put up a straw man. Not EVERY)ONE would join you in testing high end, as some people just aren't that interested in dealing with unfinished products. This was poor preparation and organization on your part. YOU botched this, not the PTS testers. YOU!
  5. Shame on you Bioware. THIS IS THE FIRST TIME I HAVE EVER BEEN DISAPPOINTED IN YOUR COMPANY! If you had allowed single character copy instead of only entire guilds, you would have had more testers available for your Ranked Warzones. This shows me how much you really care about providing a great product for your your customer base. SHAME ON YOU BIOWARE!!!
  6. when you are fighting against the same faction, the cutscenes and audio will reflect that of a Training session instead of an actual battle, so it won't mess with lore at all.
  7. I'm with this guy. I don't know how many times I've had a white resolve bar only to STILL get CC'd. The Resolve Bar doesn't work
  8. To OP, it sounds more like an issue of maturity level of the players in your guild than anything else. In our guild, we don't have a problem playing PvP against each other. Of course, we enjoy playing with each other more, but sometimes, the only worthy opponents we can find that will give us a challenge is ourselves
  9. Yeah there are going to be imbalances that will NOT be worked out until Cross-Server Queuing becomes available.
  10. Think of how PUGs feel when they are getting absolutely stomped by the same guild over and over.
  11. Cross-Server Queuing couldn't come fast enough, because I can already tell how imbalanced it is going to be on my server.

  14. I play on Sedyn Kyne, which is the least populated server, and PvP and PvE Groups are extremely hard to come by. The popped on a regular basis for a short time when 1.1.5 came out, but it's back to virtually nothing for lvl 50 chars. It still pops for lowbies, but rarely for 50s. One of the problems with this is that there are two dominating guilds on our server, one repub and one imp. Savage Arms (SA) and The Dark Inquisition. (TDI) The problems with this is that TDI doesn't like facing SA in PvP, so they wait until SA is doing their scheduled Raids, then they just run rampant on all the PUGS. TDI avoids SA because for the most part, SA will beat TDI more often than not. Then SA will do PvP and run rampant on the PUGS (all the pugs have been repub so far, and it seems may stay that way, as it appears that MOST lowbie characters are actually alts). This has really frustrated the PUGS to the point that they have stopped playing lvl 50 PvP. Watching the PTS forum, I haven't seen any concerns addressed regarding various questions that would arise out of a low-pop server and the above situation regarding Ranked WZ. 1. How will Ranked WZ work on Low-Pop server to give everyone a proper chance. We can say that it will separate Group PvP from Solo PvP, but the problem is that One guild and queue up as SOLO and still be on the same team, effectively making it a Solo Ranked PvP in a group. This causes a problem for the PUGS that play solo, but aren't given a fair shake because of how low the population is, and the only people playing are part of really good guilds that just run rampant on PUGs whenever they are playing. I know some of this concern will be alleviated when cross-server PvP comes available, but currently, on a Low-Pop servers such as mine, I don't see the Rankings accurately reflecting the skill of solo PvPers, when a guild can queue solo and still play as a guild and completely destroy the PUGs. This is just my opinion and if anyone has seen this going on or thinks my concerns are naught, I'd like some feedback on how it is going on PTS. From the way I read it, the WZ Testing Focus was a huge wash on Saturday, so there was no really good feedback that resulted from it (except the fact that it was a huge wash).
  15. I have so far not been impressed with the design of this game, particularly the level design. I remember the great vistas, immersion, and imagination that went into LOTRO. Heck, I logged in the other day just to get a view. In SWTOR, it seems that Bioware really lacked imagination, particularly when it comes to level design. I feel more like I am playing a game and less like I am part of a world. Level Design is virtually repetitive. I don't know how many times I have seen the same dungeon layout in this game be it in a cave, a factory, or some other random theme, and I am very disappointed. There have been no awe-inspiring views that just make you want to just enjoy what you are staring at. Anybody who has played LOTRO knows what I'm talking about (think the first time you entered Moria, or the view from Weathertop). The ambience is also highly lacking. Where is the weather? It is sunny everywhere, and it NEVER snows on Hoth or Ilum(except on the way to a datacron) Seriously? I hope that SWTOR can really start improving their overall design, cuz it feels like NO imagination went into creating the worlds. One other thing. This is supposed to occur some 4000 years BEFORE the time of the movies, and yet, I feel like I am in the movies. The vehicle and ship designs are virtually the same, and the military armor looks like it came from the clone wars. Seriously? You mean to tell me that the stuff you saw in the movies was the same stuff you saw 4000 years before? Talk about lack of creativity. Just think about it. Even in real life, what really stays the same even after 10 years? Do the companies that make said armor/vehicles/etc have no imagination. Is there no creativity in the SWTOR Universe. I sure hope that BioWare will really start looking at making this MORE of a world and less of a game.
  16. Some sort of change needs to occur to the Champion PvP Armor Token system. Out of the 100s of champ bags I've collected, I have only received two tokens. The problem is, I had already purchased the pieces these tokens were intended for, so now these tokens just sit in my cargo hold taking up space. Either make the armor tokens show up more frequently, or make the PvP armor tokens generic, or both, because there's no point in having two champ vests, or three champ implants.
  17. I don't know if you have heard of The Piano Guys. They have this great Star Wars ensemble melody that would be a great addition to the game, perhaps as a jukebox piece. You should contact them to license the piece. Here is the video version of the song by them.
  18. Just a little heads up. Thank you so much for the guide. That spot was extremely buggy, and we ended learning a few things about the area and what it takes, stuff that I didn't see in your guide or video. 1. /stuck doesn't always take you back to the bridge control platform. We found it easier to bring six people, have each one at a certain button or station, and each person get the datacron one at a time, the person in the buggy spot being last. 2. You said in the guide and video you weren't sure if you needed all the grappling points activated, or just particular ones. I would like to confirm that here for you. They ALL have to be activated in a certain order for the point above the door to activate. a. Buttons A & D need to be activated first b. Buttons B & C need to be activated second c. Button E needs to be activated last. I hope you find this helpful. Thanks again for the great guide and video

Damage (Pri) 590-729 Strength 1337 Damage (Sec) 183-275 Bonus Damage 312 Power 194 Accuracy 95.88 Accuracy Rating 177 Crit Chance 26.07 Crit Rating 320 Crit Multiplier 73.41 Surge Rating 246 What do you think? Some more changes needed, and if so, where?
  22. At what point should I stop focusing on crit rating and surge rating due to diminishing returns and start focusing more on strength, accuracy, or even power? Any suggestions and ideas would be great.
