Greetings and salutations, As the title reads, I am a returning player and am feeling the itch to get back and get back into active RP. While I do play both factions, my primary source for RP will be an Imperial cipher agent. So the type of guild that I am interested in is one where a cipher agent would fit in. He is primarily a spy, not a soldier. Of course he has military experience, but as an agent. I am an adult role player, well over the drinking age, and I am active during the week and on Saturdays. Sunday is family day. I have a severe allergy to OOC drama and general juvinile idiocy. I have been a role play gamer since I was a kid, back then Dungeons and Dragons did not require a version number 😉. I took a hiatus because the aspect of the game I enjoy most turned into something ugly, thanks to drama and childish actions. I won't name the guild, but I have seen some recent ads, so I know they are still around. This is a game, when it turns into work it stops being fun. That is why I stepped away and to other games. And that is me in a nutshell. If interested, hit me up here or in game on my character, Ninety Five (sn: ninety five). Please talk to me first, I block group and guild invites because of the number of blind invites.

The game is just to dark to play. I will take the 64 bit whatever, I will not use whatever setting they don't want. Just make the dang thing lighter so we can see. Is that to difficult? I can't play a game I love, and have spent a lot of time and money on over the years, and supported loudly, and it ticks me off. Are we just numbers on a tally sheet, or is somebody listening?!? Edit: I reinstalled directX and things seem to be working... for now.

I am on a fresh install. I had used steam before to avoid some of the issues with the game, but my screen was to dark to play the game after the monster update. So I uninstalled and reinstalled using the downloader from swtor.com, and like before, my screen is so dark it is impossible to play. Before the update, no issues, after the update BIG issues. I use Full Screen when playing, and the shader is at 100%. I am really stumped at what to do here. I have seen people saying to add a line to my client settings, but I have no idea where to find this. The file others have mentioned I don't see on my system. I know my 15 bucks is a drop in the well to these folks and literally means nothing, but why continue to pay for a game I can't play. Please help.

I've said it before, I will say it again.. and again.. and again.. An asteroid base along the lines of Port Nowhere from the smuggler story, or an ice base like Echo base from Empire Strikes Back on Hoth. Those are my bucket list strongholds

I collect Altuur zok Adon in collections, click to activate him and no Altuur zok Adon. Is he broke? Did he go on vacation? I miss my alien squeaker.

I just don't understand the need for this. I am usually the last one to complain, but I literally hate this thing. Devs.. please hit the undo button. First couple times I wanted to move this stupid thing I had to expand it to grab it until i found the sweet spot. But even minimized it covers things up, sort of. You can see through it but it invisi-blocks things on the UI. I had to find someplace to put it where it didn't interact with things.

My stronghold wishlist has two locations.. A base on Hoth along the lines of Echo Base from Empire Strikes Back And either a small space station, or like an asteroid base.

It is probably a minor thing but I use it often. The list of companions for crafting used to be in order of influence, now it is a jumbled mess. Also when switching between companions while crafting it hangs for 15 to 20 seconds. Like I said, minor, but annoying as hell.

I am very interested in your guild(s). I am old.. well, physically.. yeah, old. *swings cane* "Get out of my space yard!" I played D&D before it required a version number.. I have adult kids.. and grandkids.. Saw Star Wars in '77.. Remember having 3 channels on TV... Yeah.. old. I am just coming back from an extended break from the game, and decided to start new. Brand new lovely level 1 characters. 4 on each faction. I did this because enough has changed in the game, I figured it would just be easier to relearn from start. I am interested in pve content, raids, operations, general silliness, social activities, and above all, FUN. I have zero interest in anything pvp related. I just don't enjoy it, and when I tried it I wasn't very good at it. So, I figure it is just easier to stay out of the way of the players who do enjoy that activity. I am looking to learn the raids, operations, etc. I used to know some of them, but would really enjoy playing through the content and learning the various fights. Anywho, that is me, and what I am looking for. On a side note.. if this is the same Elders guilds that was on Harbinger, I joined y'all right before I had to take a long extended break (2 years, because of medical issues with my late wife) from the game and never got a chance to play with you folks.

~*~ Adult Role Player Seeks Like Minded Role Players ~*~ Who am I: I am an old fart who loves the game. I play both factions, and am a pretty serious role player. Yes, I could just play the game and have a grand old time, but what I really enjoy is the role play. I love to tell stories through RP, journal post, and short story posts. I have played on both of the RP servers, but stayed mostly around the Ebon Hawk, before the merger. I would prefer to find a guild or guilds with a more.. mature? level of people. Nothing against the younglings, but us old farts need to stick together! What am I looking for: I would like to find a solid group of role players with a guild on each faction. I have stories to tell! Activity is very important to me. RPing once every other week isn't going to cut it. And sitting around in a bar drinking and making small talk is just boring. Activity.. events.. this is what I am looking for. And I can help run them! The story I want to tell: Almost all of my characters are related. The story I am interested in telling surrounds three brothers. A spy, a soldier, and a bounty hunter. Two brothers fight for the Republic, one a respected soldier with a very solid reputation. The other a shady agent of the SIS. The third brother is a bounty hunter working mainly in Imperial space, because of his profession. He isn't a soldier, a spy, a mando, or anything like that. He is just a man who is good with his guns, and hunts people ...for money. Other interests: I am interested in most of the aspects of the game outside of PvP. I don't PvP.. I stink at it.. and I don't enjoy it, so it is better just to keep my non-pvping behind out of the way and leave that content for players who enjoy it. I like raids, heroics, story content, and role play.. and more role play.. and did I mention role play? Okay, good. So, if interested hit me up.

I was pretty salty about this myself. I think the whole thing was poorly handled, but it is done and over. Yeah, I wanted one too, and didn't get one either. So... moving on to other things. I hope the armor set ends up recolored and released in a pack in the future.. at least the helmet. I got a close look at the armor set on Dulfys site, and it didn't really seem like anything we couldn't put together ourselves, except the helmet. As far as that cool looking speeder.. the sound that thing makes is like nails on the chalkboard to me. Yeesh... PS - Not CEO of anything. Retired.. get paid to sit home, play video games, watch movies, use the gym in my apartment complex, it's a rough job, but somebody has to do it

Well, I am still part of the "you don't have any notifications" club, so I guess if it hasn't happened by now, it isn't. Grats to those who got one.

I don't expect a code, just because that is the kind of luck I have with these things. I have been an nvidia customer for years, and have used Experience since its launch and I have never seen any kind of code, reward, or notification other then when my drivers need updating, so who knows for sure. They probably don't send codes to accounts that don't have the associated game listed.. so, I dunno. At this point I have not heard from anyone that they have gotten a code, and the nvidia forums said they were still delivering codes, but.. ya know, it is big business, so who knows. Look on the bright side.. the speeder will probably end up recolored and in a pack in the near future anyway.

Republic or Imperial?

My top three things on my SWTOR wishlist for 2017 (aka wishful thinking) 1. A stronghold on Hoth, modeled after Echo Base from Empire Strikes Back, with cold climate based decorations. Not snowball makers and stuff, but actual things people would need to live on the planet. 2. Nerf pets, a Nerf mount, and a Nerf companion (Nerfs of the world unite!) 3. A stronghold that is a space station, with appropriate decorations. (Bonus: The ability to decorate the players ships, usable hoods, and better sitting or /chair controls) And... discuss

Greetings forum people of Harbinger As the title states, I am an old fart (like seriously.. saw Star Wars in 77 when I was a kid.. that old) who is seeking guilds. I have various characters in both factions, and would like to find a social, relaxed, guild on each faction that runs pve, end game, ops, and flashpoints. I have no interest in pvp (mainly because I stink at it), so if that is a requirement then pass on by.
