  1. Operatives got nerfed because backstab was just ridiculous. Not only did it crit for 7k, and on a heavy armor no less, it stunned you as well. And even if I did last long enough to survive the first stun, they could stealth and backstab again for a guaranteed finisher every 45(?) seconds.
  2. Been like a week. Why bother thinking of new excuses all the time and just post a stream of 600-700k dmg wins to show some consistency, as well as proving losing or winning "depends on the circumstances". Must be easy with such a superior build and premades without getting roflstomped.
  3. Really, someone please grab the biggest facepalm smiley/meme/photo they can find. You've been using a screenshot as "proof", where the player was obviously (and admitted to) not playing the objective at all and had essentially 100% uptime. That comment you made is so idiotic, all your comments are now void of meaning and anything you say just draws lulz and further cements your appearance as a complete fool.
  4. I really like the "It happened once = defining proof" bit that's going on. I had 125 kills in PVP in only 11 mins by doing essentially no damage once. Is it safe to assume I'm some kind of god now? I sure think it is.
  5. I've actually had some angry person from a pvp match PM me with something like "F-ing BH, only know how to use TRACER TRACER TRACER.LEARN2PLAY" after I killed him easily. In which I replied "...I'm not a merc?"
  6. I'd have to agree that it's probably a team problem. The DPS are not dropping threat when they can (and should). Or you're not using your taunts efficiently. Bosses with random threat tables are the only ones that should attack someone other than the tank more than once before it's taunted back. Don't waste your taunts, and tell your DPS to drop threat whenever they can. From my personally experiences, I'd say PTs > Juggs in tanking. And no boss should ever reach enrage unless you've royally messed up (i.e. Soa 3rd phase). Enrage is really only a gear or "screw up" check. If bosses are hitting enrage regularly, even in Nightmare Ops, then something is wrong with your group. You should be wiping well before that from someone messing up. Or from trash mobs. That or you're bringing way too many off-tanks/healers.
  7. And this is what I'm saying. How are you coming to such conclusions with no experiments or data? Are you psychic?
  8. Yeah, this means a whole lot when you basically had invincibiliy, could take your time to kill anyone, and didn't have to spend time in jail/run to the fray again. Very nice, meaningful comparisons going on here. /slowclap
  9. Lol, I gave you the tap that the 750k match was impressive, but thinking a single game where you got that due to having an obvious large amount of turtling and pocket heals means you can say such things is just silly. When you can do that consistently without a premade and actually win matches (or at least make it close), you can use those matches as examples.
  10. Considering you only need to do a minimal amount of damage to someone to get a "kill", I'd say 700k+ damage with only 50 kills is very impressive. I'd believe he used a minimal amount of AOE. I'd be more concerned with how badly his team lost, yet he has such a low amount of deaths. Meaning he probably wasn't much of a team player and ran off to get healed by a pocket healer(s) instead of playing the objective. ...Meaning he got a lot more time to do damage, for the people who haven't caught on. Still impressive though. Most kills in shortest amount of time. Really, I just walk around and they die; didn't even need to do damage. http://imgur.com/xR3vK,wwP3b,CfzGy Huttball with no PVP gear and no 24/7 pocket healer. My number of deaths are similar to everyone elses. http://imgur.com/xR3vK,wwP3b,CfzGy#1 http://imgur.com/xR3vK,wwP3b,CfzGy#2 I refuse to wear PVP gear because of the way they look
  11. Thanks for posting one of the most basic Pyro builds with minor variants?
  12. If that surge nerf happens, it's actually a good thing (in a sense). In nightmare, it's important to drop threat on bosses and that's something PTs lack compared to other classes. It'll hurt us for PVP though. Always look on the bright side?
  13. I wouldn't worry about it. You only ever really NEED one cc for all the HMs and the healer will always have one. In nightmare ops, it matters even less.
  14. This is fine and all, but then it brings it down to one thing - What's the point? Ok, so it does decent burst, but it's still much lower than a Pyro's. If we bring cds into the picture, I can say my highest RS and TDs hit for 6k. And that's with NO pvp gear (I refuse to wear that garbage). So really, this whole thing is moot and a huge misrepresentation.
  15. I call bs. Or at least gross exaggeration. There's no way flame burst can crit for 3.3k, lol. If it does and you only do 350k damage, that's really sad. And how the hell do you get healing medals? Edit: Saw the video. You had to pop your cds just to crit 2.8k on the flame bursts. There is some exaggeration going on here; you're not supposed to count cds when discussing attack damage. The 3.2k was off a sniper with 11k hp. 11k hp at 50 means he's probably wearing greens on top of being a sniper.
  16. I'd say no. You'll generally be staying in the ~4 m range to be able to Quell and RP.
  17. Since you say this is a PVP build, I'll only comment on the PVP side. 1. Using IGC when you're so heaviliy invested in Pyro is pointless. 2. All the defensive abilities are not worth the points put into them. (+End, Dmg Red, Vent heat when stunned). The survivability added amounts to little for the DPS lost. 3. Hot Iron when you don't even have RB? 4. Where is the logic in getting Rain of Fire, and to a lesser extent the Super Heated, talents when you're going IGC? Identity crisis is a great name for this, lol.
  18. And that HP requirement or be one-shotted by a not-even-enraged-and-cannot-be-interrupted attack. I was trying to remain civil (though not to the troll OP). Thanks for taking care of that for me, lol.
  19. Curious. What's considered a hard HM FP or Op boss to you? Where they can actually reach enrage mode. This is about being a good DPS that does high damage. Not competing to be the best of the best.
  20. Raid and FP boss fights are hard generally due to some mechanic the group needs to understand. They're usually "drag the boss here" which is the tank's job, "push this console/button/whatever at the right time" which would be designated to anyone, some one-hit kill move that needs to be dodged/interrupted, or something. Success in raids depends on communication and understanding of boss mechanics. That's why pugs are viable for HM FPs, but are garbage for raids. Really, you guys are making DPS in PVE to be some highly difficult task when all you need is a good rotation, and know what to do when a boss mechanic acts up. Most of the time you're standing there attacking, or running away/running back when you need to.
  21. Wait, wait, wait. You're saying DPS takes skill to do well in PVE? lol. /thread
  22. Immolate is weaker than TD. Pyros' RS crit for 30% more, do 9% more damage, and pierces 30% more of their armor. And when you can essentially spam the thing instead of waiting 15 seconds, it doesn't really matter. Any smart Pyro will go for a crit build and 35+% chance of crit isn't hard to get.
  23. Really, the majority consensus is Pyro > AP. You want to change our minds, post a video to shut us up. And we have such a leet Marauder, why aren't you gracing the horrible players with your know-how over there with videos and tips instead of complaining about a class you don't even know very well over here?
