they all suck because pvp in swtor sucks, unless of course you like stunfest, gearbased, unbalanced skilless pvp.. in which case it doesnt matter what server you are on because there is no openworld PvP, only canned instanced garbage. so.. que up..over and over and over .. yawn..

There are alot more games that just GW2 coming out. I already unsubbed because PvP in this game is an epic fail.. If you are a carebear, stunfest, zergfest ,no skill requred PvP fan, then this is the perfect game for you. The poster makes good points and at least makes an effort to wake Bio up. Clearly Bio is clueless. Look forward to more server merges in the near future.

Yeah LOTS of people LOVE PVP in this game.. thats why they had to have a massive server merge and why on AUG 28 they will probably have to have another server merge, because PvP is just FAB in swtor!! On the upside, there won't be NEARLY as many stuns after the other games come out!!!

swtor is a pve game.. what did u expect?

Resolve works as intended.. it does nothing. Bio has about 1 month left to get rid of stuns in PvP. It probably wouldnt even help at this point if they did get a clue about pvp because too many other games that are so much better pvp games are coming out.

LOL!!! This is the first MMO I've played that is a strictly gear-based pseudo PvP game. Up until SWTOR, I very much enjoyed UO, Asherson's Call, Darkfall, DAOC and had many years of fun playing them. Because I find SWTOR's PvP grossly lacking on so many levels does not mean I talk down the game. It simply means that I, like so many others who have already left this game, don't like one aspect of the game. Because I don't enjoy repetative cookie cutter PvE, or gear-based tightly controlled zergfest stunfest PvP, clearly this is not the game for me. I'm not the one that made this post, I simply agree with it. Perish the thought that SWTOR actually listen to the PvP community and make it a more attractive PvP game.

Its a gear based only game. lol go play darkfall if you want sandbox, non gear based PvP. Its a much better PvP game than SWTOR.

Couldnt agree more with you. However, most of the sandbox "PvPr's" already quit the game so you won't find many ppl left that are not the stun zergfest mentality. It will never change which is one of the reasons why Aug 28 I will be gpne as well. I don't really think SWTOR is a PvP game anyhow. It's more of a PvE game that threw in PvP as an afterthought to try and attract more ppl. Pretty epic fail imo.

I don't know how in the world you can use the word "hardcore" when talking about PvP in SWTOR... its about as carebear as it gets.

Open world PvP is for.. casual players?? hahahahahahhahahahahh You may have a preference for cookie cutter boring warfronts that mean nothing, but I would not call WF's PvP. As a matter of fact, I would say this is the most carebear, gear based PvP game I've ever tried. No looting other players, No real open world PvP..no skill required... just gear. It's a great PvE game.. and a lousy PvP game. True Story Op. See you in next game.

I think its ridiculous for another reason.. why should we have to pay a dime for Bio's bad planning skills? They have entirely too many servers and a game that grossly lacks in so many ways that hoards of people already quit and wont be back. Seems to me that they could have about 5 servers total to manage the entire current subscription level. Whatever the case, I won't pay anything to transfer, so if that means I quit because I'm the only one left on the server, then so be it. Fact is, no matter what server you are on, the game remains the same. Boring, repetative warfronts, no end game, no open world PvP, unbalanced characters, and a general zerg stunfest mentality.

How many are going to enjoy the GW2 Beta this weekend? I know I am....

Try Darkfall for starters. It's relatively new and a totally open world PvP game that is not gear based and is a strictly skill based game. Full loot I might add, so not for the typical WoW/Swtor gamer. Secondly, with regard to GW2, thats why they call it BETA., so people can play and REVIEW it and report any BUGS. IMO, Bio made a good PvE game and threw PvP in as an after thought. There is no skill required for PvP in Swtor, just gear. My dog could roll over on my keyboard and PvP well simply because I have the best gear. From no looting to a CC fest, to boring, repetative war fronts and no open world PvP, Swtor is a PvP abysmal failure with little hope of improving. I too purchased GW2, along with the rest of my guild that already left Swtor and I am looking forward to Darkfall 2 to release. As far as his arguments being "invalid," notice how dead all the servers are? I suggest you wake up because if you think they are bad now, just wait until GW2 goes live. Swtor's name will change from "Stunwars" to "Donewars."

darkfall.. "real pvp" you have to aim, its not gear based, full looting, no instanced boring warfronts, just hardcore sandbox pvp in the open world. not for the casual swtor, wow player whatsoever..

not really. you never get any better at percentages. Many games, as you keep skilling up, your odds increase on crits. Tbh, I dont know why anyone would make pvp gear. you dont even get the set bonuses if its crafted. but congrats to you for being lucky. most are not.. and most are not bothering to craft. its too stupid of a system.

To get one augment slot, I had to craft 60 of one piece of gear. You cant really sell the 59 pieces on GTN because who the hell wants them with no augment slot. You can't RE them to get any of your mats back..( 720 of just ONE mat) and the vendor buys them for 1 credit. This is yet another reason I unsubbed and bought GW2. If the devs are that clueless.. there is no hope.
