Depending on the server, you might prefer Imperial side PVP. Republic struggles on my server.

The stun locking is kind of ridiculous.

It seems to be more like win 6 warzones because half the time they don't give credit towards the quest. I'm finding it quite frustrating.

Now that you are 50, which PVP gear set are you going for? Supercommando - tank Combat tech - both 2 piece and 4 piece bonuses suit Vanguards Eliminator - 2 set doesn't work but the 4 set is a bonus to HIB

I spent 6 hours yesterday PVPing for 4 wins on the Republic side and one of those was a bugged Voidstar. The Level 50 fully geared Imperials just kept munching down on us. It seems very imbalanced to me.

Keep at it if you enjoy it. The scaling means that if your gear is ok for your level, you will be able to make a contribution. Don't run off alone though as you lack some of the utility abilities to survive at low levels.

I have a 43 VG and a 35 Commando. The Commando has always felt like significantly more DPS. I don't see it when PVPing that much though, particularly if I take the time out from close range on the VG to pop Mortar Volley a few times to pad the damage count. I find it hard to reconcile between literally continuous Grav Rounds doing >2k each and no ammo problems - literally easy mode big DPS - and the piano complexity of the VG getting out DPS at close range across shock strike, pulse and HIB. I just cant see how the DOT effect of the VG can make up the raw hitting power of the Commando.

I find the 53% Bioware stat very hard to believe based on my experiences. The Imps have level 50s who are very often continuously PVPing and defeat opponents for hours on end. The Republic tends to lose a lot, even accounting for your own bias where you note the losses more than the wins.

Yes, very distracting. Particularly bad on Tatooine.

I see 5 level 50 Imperials dominating every match. I see level 10 to level 20 Republic people still trying warzones. It leaves a very bad impression on anyone on the Republic side. Yes, yes - Republics are just a mirror - but everyone who WANTS to PVP went Imperial already, so they merely dominate by overall numbers but particularly PVP. Unfun is unfun.

I find it funny that this review is from Australia, where the game isn't released and you need to go to great lengths to buy the game online. E.g. region masking IP
