  1. LOL I like how you're so condescending without providing any proof why they are so good. Saying positioning is key is completely irrelevent when talking about the merc class specifically, because positioning is important for every class.
  2. uh, what? You do realize how easy it is to shut down a merc's dps in pvp? Mercs have awesome burst, but are way too vulnerable to interrupts killing their damage.
  3. You don't need legacy lvl 12, you just need someone who has the ship droid vendor to let you on their ship to buy it. It will cost you 100k off the vendor for the +5cybertech crit item.
  4. One reason stunning the ball carrier, which caps their resolve is a bad idea because PT/vanguard/sin/shadow have a pull back. The pull back doesn't work when their resolve capped. If their not resolve capped you can literally jump off the edge, while you're in mid air use your pull enemy and they will fall into the pit with you. The other option is pulling them backwards into the fire, which can kill them or do devastating damage. The issue with your scenarios is they aren't very specific, when stunning someone sometimes it's a good idea, sometimes it's not, it really depends on the classes present or the enemies around him. There are too many unknown variables to truly answer this question.
  5. I have to agree it makes no sense what so ever. I would honestly prefer if hammer shot was a channel like their free heal diagnostic scan. It just seems so annoying to hit hammer shot over and over to heal for free.
  6. You act as if every single profession, except biochem makes augments. I don't understand how you can honestly say having a reuseable items not a benefit? So what it if it has a few stats, you're saving a ton of money by not having to pop a new stim every 2 hours.
  7. I don't know what to tell you. A few days ago my buddy's account went from sub to F2P to sub over a period of a few days He didn't have the issue of havin his tradeskill revert to 400, his was always 450. I don't know what to tell you other then you're bugged in some way or you thought you had 450 scavenging.
  8. Yes, they are related, but I doubt anyone has gotten zero thermal regulators. If any of that were true they would of commented on it. It's funny they have commented on thermal regulators drop rate being too low for people who have been getting them, but they have never once responded to a thread about people receiving zero. It's quite obvious all these people who are getting zero are just exaggerating. I have gotten hundreds of thermal regulators and I have had a unlucky streak of not getting a thermal regulator 40-50 missions. I know what constitutes RNG and outright lying that people can't get thermal regulators.
  9. That thread has people talking about getting less thermal regulators in the patch, as in people are getting some, but the rate has dropped. That's a big difference from the people in this thread claiming to run 80+ missions and get ZERO thermal regulators.
  10. You lose credibility when you say luck has nothing to do with it, obviously with that statement you don't understand statistics. You lose more credibility when your math doesn't add up. Bountiful slicing parts mission costs 37XX, rich costs 38xx to run. To make math easier assuming both bountiful and rich cost 3700, multiple that by 80, you got 296,000 credits you spent. You're either lying about the amount of missions you ran or the amount of money you lose. Either way, your "evidence" is highly suspect given your #s don't add up. On top of this, if so many people are unable to get a single thermal regulator then why hasn't a dev responded? There are so many thermal regulators on the GTN, that it's proof a lot of people are getting more then enough thermal regulators.
  11. Depends on what you want really. In general crew skills aren't that useful endgame, so for my main chars I put biochem on them for the free reuseable. I do have cybertech, and armormech on my alts to craft myself augments.
  12. QFT. I have yet to see a dev acknowledge that some people are not getting any thermal regulators.
  13. I have to agree with others when you see a SS of 900k dmg with less than 20kills, I don't think wow they are awesome at killing stuff, all I see is inflated damage numbers from AOEing stuff that doesn't die.
  14. Sadly there are a lot of bad tanks and healers, especially at low lvls. Athiss is a joke, I healed that place without a tank because the assassin "tank" sold his shield. He didn't even know what a shield was until I asked him where his shield was. Also, every once in a while he would try to "tank" in a dps stance, making it so everyone else got aggro.
  15. Sins are better by a longshot IMO. Sins have better burst Sins are better stealthers at the huttball goal line OPs are better ball carriers if the sin isn't willing to respec to tank spec for huttball. OPs are faster from getting to point A to point B. Another thing to take into account is that a ton of people complain about the OP roll ability, so there is a decent probability it will be nerfed making OPs inferior ball carriers compared to deception sins. Depending, on how badly they nerf the ability they could be slower getting from point A to Point B. In the end I think a sin is a lot more fun to play because ppl play a DPS stealther for their burst capability. I do thoroughly enjoy the OP roll ability to get to fights faster or roll away from combat, but I still enjoy the sin better. Also, playing huttball as an OP is a lot less fun because you lack a lot of utility in that map. Being able to knock someone off is just so satisfying and immensely helpful to winning the match.
  16. The marauder/sent probably used the 2m CC break because I know my operative cant stealth with electronet on me.
  17. One thing to note is that a dev acknowledged that commandos/mercs don't have enough escape mechanisms when getting focused, so they are looking to fix it. Now, whether they implement their new idea anytime soon or that if the new ability actually addresses the issue is a different story.
  18. LOL they don't have the organization? more like they don't have the brainpower to comprehend how to win. Seriously, it takes all of 1second to figure out who a healer is. In addition, it doesn't take a lot of common sense to see, oh look there are 2 of my teammates attacking that healer, maybe I should attack that healer too, instead of attacking this random tank. Using stupidity as an excuse for having at least 2 people focusing on 1 target is absolutely ridiculous. There are situations in which pugs don't have the coordination to accomplish certain goals, but having 2 people focus the same target isn't one of them.
  19. I doubt that would be the case. The pvp population is only so large that it is highly doubtful that there are tons and tons of people out there for them to get matched with the same like minded people every time. On top of this, all this assumes it's during peak hours where a ton of people are pvping. The people can skew the queue in their favor during offpeak times because the lack of pvp population during those time periods. Let's not forget in the lowbie brackets the amount of players pvping is a lot smaller then the 55 bracket. A few days ago I went on a pvp binge and did 10 matches in the 30-54 bracket, I went up against the same premade 4 times, another premade 2 times. This just shows how small the pvp population is in lower brackets and how easily it can be skewed to certain warzones just by a few individuals queueing up for certain warzones. Let's take another example, if 50% of the population dislike huttball, 25% of the population likes huttball and 25% of the population choose any warzone, that means the people who choose any warzone have a 50% chance of not getting huttball. This right there indirectly forces the rest of the population to be queued in warzones that the pvp population likes overall. Any time someone makes a choice for certain warzones it skews the queue in their favor.
  20. What scares me is that people will setup premades for that specific warzone and just dominate it. On top of this what scares me is that Warhammer did this. As the result of choosing which wz to queue, everyone chose the same one because it was the fastest one to earn valor rank in. Do I dislike certain warzones, that I prefer not to play them as much? Yes, but this queue for certain warzones will create a snowball affect of forcing people to only play the warzone that people like the most. By having 1 person out of 16 choose, let's say huttball, everyone is now forced to play huttball, even though the other 15 out of 16 choose queue for any warzone. Yes, my example uses only 1 warzone choice and you use 3, but the issue is the fact that the people who choose any warzone are now forced to play the warzones that the one person who choose 3 different ones.
  21. How does that have anything to do with my reply? You stated rich is better then a wealthy mission and I proved to you why that is not true.
  22. I am sorry but saying any single ability is an iwin buttin in non-rated wzs is kidding themselves. The majority of the warzones are determined by having a premade vs pug (assuming the premade isn't retarded) or the random pug members using strategy. There are so many mistakes in a random pug vs pug warzone that determine the outcome not some ability that lets you get to a point quickly. I have lost so many games because people decide to attack the tanks and leave the healers alone or watch as our team defends 1 node with 7ppl vs 2 ppl attacking, while our other node has 1 defender trying to hold off 5 ppl.
  23. I am sure it's not server specific, otherwise on some servers augments would be running 500k+. I have yet to find a thread about people complaining that the prices were that high. To be honest at most it's a character issue.

    Clickers!!

Clicking is inferior to keybinding plain and simple. Now whether you want to keybind or not is your choice and to be honest I could care less. The end result is this thread is stupid, no matter what you tell people they are still going to do whatever they want. It's just like a doctor telling you that you need to lose weight for your health. Everyone knows the advantages of being healthier, but it's still up to the person to make the effort to change, if they want to.
  25. I asked about this samething, but happening with slicing missions. There would be times I would on just to 4 companions on crew skill missions. I would log in the next day and only have 2 crew skill mission rewards. Sadly, no one responded to me in that thread, so I thought I was the only one. I have had disappearing crew skill missions at least 10 times, since I have been crafting non-stop on like 5 different characters.
