  1. PvP isn't great in the 10-49 bracket? Hahaha. You're in for a shock at 50. Literally.
  2. The reason I hate PvP? CC. If they got rid of about half of the CC in this game, it would be tolerable. It's absolutely laughable that they are trying to implement competitive PvP with the CC-fest that this game is currently.
  3. The high-quality nonsense in this thread brought to you by the guy who always complains that operatives suck, and thinks they should be able to 2 shot again.
  4. You actually expect melee to use any other rotation other than charge>DerPS? That's some wishful thinking.
  5. They're really bad, so they need the gear gap. And vent/ts/whatever they are using.
  6. Just faced you. You're awful. You interrupted my cool down heal moron
  7. I'm queued. It's going quite slow, however.
  8. I've played against you guys repeatedly. None of your guild's players are particularly good, you guys just have better gear than the normal republic pug.
  9. Someone replied to this post and used the vote to kick feature in WoW as an example of what happens to systems that are easily abused. I used to vote to kick players out of dungeons for anything, and usually, one or two other people in my party would also approve of the kick for some odd reason. I think people just tend to click "accept" or "ok" when boxes pop up on their screen.
  10. It's a simple process. Let's go through the steps, shall we? 1. Favor 1 faction over the other and give said favored faction perks which draw an abnormally large player base to it for obvious reasons. 2. Make it widely known that aforementioned favorite faction is indeed the favorite faction. Upon making my faction choice, I given a sneak preview of what was in store for me: death, dismay, and hopelessness. Great way to get people to play the already established underdog faction, BioWare. 3. Now this is the crucial step! Not only should you support the faction imbalance through the methods mentioned above, but you should also allow this faction to achieve greater rewards much quicker than the underdog faction! Ilum was the single greatest creation ever in the history of things that ruin MMOs, and great care must be taken to create something equally as great as it if you plan on ruining your very own game! And this has been your presentation of "How to Ruin a Game."
  11. Played WoW for 6 years. This game is worse.
  12. Disrupts affecting resolve. Are you serious?
  13. I was joking about resolve's effectiveness which is lackluster. I know how to utilize resolve. I know how it is supposed to work. I know what is SUPPOSED to happen when the white bar fills. I know roots and snares aren't affected by resolve, and also don't affect resolve. I can tell you that what is supposed to happen when the bar fills, but that does not mean it always happens.
  14. They do have diminishing returns on CC skills. It's called resolve and it doesn't work.
  15. I'm not a sage healer, and I don't particularly like them either, but their shield puts a debuff on them and it is definitely longer than 4.5 seconds before they can put another shield on. Unless they started the fight with a shield on and the debuff was off of them or running out. Then they could reapply it mid-fight.
  16. I've heard there is no dedicated healing classes in GW2, and if that's true then I won't be going. I also hate how GW has like 15 expansions you need to buy in order to play. If they keep up that trend with GW2, then I won't play it.
  17. Rank 54 here, should be probably rank 60 because of hitting the valor cap multiple times due to my level in the 10-49 bracket. Never had this happen
  18. You do realize that the population cap is a blanket cap and doesn't discriminate against the factions, right? I forget what the cap is, but let's say it's 100 players in Ilum. There could be 95 Empire players and 5 Republic players and it would still satisfy the "population cap." And the above is a likely and probably common scenario.
  19. Can't believe how many melee in here are complaining that healers can't be killed. I'm sad I never run into you guys, because the melee I run into actually know how to play and drop me. Yes, I try to fake cast, but in this game doing that brings more harm than good usually because of ability delay. I do CC and I do use cooldowns etc. but the melee I run into know which heal to interrupt and lock out that one. I have two casted heals, one has a cooldown and one doesn't. They wait for the latter. Maybe you guys should stop sucking.
  20. They helped noobs a lot in this game by giving me a huge green tracer laser to myself from my healing target. All they have to do is follow the green laser to find out who is healing. They also helped out noob players by giving them far too many stuns, interrupts, and too much damage. I really don't think they need anymore, because if more were to be asked, it would just be to send my computer a virus where upon my entrance in a WZ, my computer would just blow up.
  21. No, he's right. I love being 4 shotted by the OP. Fun for everyone indeed!
  22. Do you know why you have never run into a team of 7 healers healing a tank? Because it is a stupid team composition and a team that has 8 DPS would rip apart those healers and tank.
  23. If any ol' idiot DPS could beat a well-geared and well-played healer, well, why would absolutely anyone want to play as a healer? And in this game healers aren't that strong. Maras rip apart healers, assassins do as well. If a healer can't LOS a sniper, they'll die to them too. Ops can beat up on healers. So in short, what you and the OP are suggesting is that anyone should be able to kill a healer on demand, which means that not only can a healer not assist themselves, but they also cannot assist anyone on their team. Why bring a healer if their heals would be useless?
  24. Lol valor 43. I dinged valor 50 at the same time as level 50. I'm almost valor 55 right now and only have champion belt from bag drops.
  25. I agree, but like all other companies EA and BioWare want to make money, and the best way to do that is to follow in the footsteps of the other guy who is making a lot of money, with a few slight alterations to differentiate your product from his of course.
