My brother is casual....he plays very little (has a level 28) and he hates this game because of how tedious travel is. He hates it because of the horribly responsive combat. He hates it because the UI is god awful. Just chiming in that casuals can not like this game for its flaws just as much as hardcore players.

This is the best MMO i have played in 2012

i hit 50 inquisitor. And no i have not run any level 50 content and no i dont have any pvp gear and no i don't have any alts. getting to level 50 in 3 weeks took me 30 hours. thats 10 hours a week for the dumb which is not hardcore gaming. NOTHING looks fun or deep or meaningful at level 50. So yes im quitting O and also i am not rolling an alt because of the horrible tedious decisions Bioware made to have no sprint until 15 no mount until 25 and loading screens every 3 minutes. I will be back in 6 months to see if Bioware got there act together.

why must all the RP'ers try to ruin the game for the rest of us. NO NO and NO hell i should be able to ride my speeder anywhere i want even within building.

im sorry but the most important parts of an mmo for me are smooth easy to use UI, smooth fun combat and good solid deep social tools. This game has none of that. Sadly this game is a glorified DCUO. SO yeah this game has BIG problems are we are not nit picking.

I say its a small issue but really last night i asked myself "why am i playing a game that i find tedious" "arnt games suppose to be about fun?" Then i played Bastion and Rayman Origins for a couple of hours then got some work done So yeah i say small issue but being tedious is not a small issue

Im so glad i am in a guild that has a strict no loot for companions unless no one can use the item on there main.

people who dont want versatility in there MMO's go back to WoW O WAIT wow has at least dual spec this is the most stifling MMO i have played since......this is the most stifling MMO i have ever played.

I would be way happier with this game if when i click on my door of my ship there is ONE loading screen which when finished IM ON THE DAMN PLANET FFS. it is torture when you have to go back and forth from planet to planet and you have like 12 loading screens to go through. horrible game design

In WoW i did only dungeons because the questing part of the game was so horrible i couldn't bring myself to do it. However in SWTOR i actually like it even though im aware that is just WoW grind masked in voice acting. But i dont care!! Its also a big deal that if you really truly want to look for a group you basically have to go to the imperial fleet which is to much of a hassle for someone working on a planet.

1 character 46 7 characters level 1 just so i could get the names i wanted.

Honestly lets just wait and see with guild wars 2. They are trying a lot of new things and new things don't always work out. Due the the risk it could be a bad game. Or of coarse it could be freaking amazing.

haha i will watch cut scenes every time and if someone says no cut scenes in there description i will join and watch the cut scenes just to waste the ******es time.

Cut the exp and ill leave in a flash. I don't want to have to grind mobs or pvp just to be the level of the planet i'm on. God i hate you EQ vets.

To me SWTOR fails at the real important things of an MMO SOCIAL - it is so freaking important. I swear no one would be playing EVE if the social aspect was not so well done. COMBAT - you NEED to get this so smooth and nice because people will be doing it for hundreds of hours. PVP - you need deep engaging pvp to keep a large number of people coming back. DEPTH and VERSATILITY - keep people engaged through deeeep customization and character versatility. Rift sucks in many ways but they do this RIGHT so i played it for 4 months. anyways my 2 cents

i will give them one more month and will stop after that unless at leas tone of these problems are not fixed fixing crappy ui add appearance tab add dual spec so at least i know they are trying to fix there game. And it will also show they that they actually know *** they are doing.

As an inquisitor i can interrupter, stun and shock my way to killing those bastards but if i screw up im dead.

i would have been happy if the space combat was not on rails and you could pvp. i hate not controlling my ship.
