  3. Here's an interesting idea how about attacking my point instead of me....If you're just going to attack me why even bother? Probably because you can't.....I wasn't just talking about regs either, this happens in ranked as well.
  4. I agree, it's not all of them. You have to admit, being good at dps is more difficult to prove to the average person then being a good healer or tank. Seriously, you can walk into a match, heal only yourself...your team wins....and you get all the mvp votes. You see, I can actually prove my point. Now, before you say..ehh who cares about mvp votes...no one, well some do I'm sure but yeah, they don't matter, except in the court of public opinion. Clearly most of the people in those matches, and in most matches care more about possibly a crap healer then a DPS that really was the match MVP. So yeah, giving the power to heals and tanks is a bad idea, they are supposed to be support, not win you the match, and with the current meta they clearly are. (if played by at least decent players). This isn't PVE, tanks and heals should not be needed to win, but alas, at least for the moment, this is the case....and it's crap, pure crap..boring, relentless, time consuming crap.
  5. This is the worst form of PVP.....Outlasting...seriously? How friking boring and easy. I swear they should just make pvp all dps...no healers no tank...so much more fun and exciting. Tank, tank, heal, heal comps are for people that figured out they don't know how to dps in pvp so they'll just play a tank or healer and not look bad on end of match charts, cause noone pays attention to protection or heals...or at least they don't understand what a good protection or heal number is...out last teams the new meta...exactly why end game is crap atm..
  6. This post isn't about class balance or match making, it's about having full teams in WZ/arenas. Lets fix something ez first before we get to the big issues. 30 seconds would allow the system to cycle through to players that are actually ready to play, not windowed out or heating up a chimichanga...(me n deadpool have something in common, a weakness for Mexican cuisine.
  7. We all know match making for regs in pvp is about the most horrible system someone could imagine....but to couple it with a seriously flawed que system is beyond ridiculous. Decrease the amount of time people have to enter warzones by at least half. 30 second is plenty of time for you to get your *** into the WZ/arena, and if you don't, ehh oh well, reque. This gives people who are actually at their cpu and paying attention (i.e. not windowed out with game sound off) a better chance to get into the WZ's and fill them faster......or at all.
  8. They complain there will be much greater que times for group unranked. My argument for that is, the solo que times will be uber fast, so there's some give and take.
  9. This is dead on. Before anyone says what i know they're going to say, not everyone that premades does these things. Not everyone that premades puts together perfect comp teams...but most do, they do..you can try to deny it but you'd be full of bull. Funny thing is...ask the really really good pvp guilds, like say the top 5% and id bet they would agree, they find it boring to face roll pugs however they want to group together so they are Forced into random ques with gen pop as well...the problem is, the -5% of premades would not join ques with the top 5% why...they'd get roflstomped...hmm sounds familiar.
  10. It's about coordination. It's not about how I play, it's about how the other 7 play or hell even the other 4, premades are inherently coordinated, by either A- guild affiliation B- server friends C- someone decided to take the best 4 people in their last WZ and start a grp with them at fleet whilst not in the WZ most of A,B and C groups will discuss either before the match or during match prep time what each other roles will be in said match. So yeah...there's an advantage, theres always an advantage to premades...even if just a couple friends. No there isn't a rule that says I have to solo que, but apparently there is a rule that if I want to pvp when I have my small ammount of time, I must go against what ever premade gets thrown at me since I haven't the time to put one together. So as you see, it's either constructs that force me to play a certain way (if i want to win) or if changes are made and a solo que added) forces premades to solo que wait..oh, wait..there would still be a group que...just like in ranked..that's odd. So theres a solo que AND a group que in ranked? Which one has faster ques....my guess is solo..huh go figure smaller sample size but...most people want to solo que...odd..
  11. It's too late. The cats out of the bag. They cater to the masses, accept it or play something else. All MMO's are the same. These aren't the days of everquest or vanilla/burning crusade wow. Everything comes easier because most ppl are casual players and don't want or don't have the time to allot to the game. However, they pay the same is you and me, and feel they are entitled to the same experience for their 16$ a month.
  12. TL;DR Skimmed. Won't work. Interesting idea, but pretty much a waste of time before you even get to start gaining anything. Sheeple don't want to learn or be taught anything about pvp, they want to just get in there and mix it up i.e. on the job training. However you're not going to learn crap getting roflstomped by a 2 healer well coordinated premade. hence, the argument turns back in on itself. balh blah blah we don't want que times to take longer then they are.... The sad thing is, if you did introduce a purely solo que, those que times, imo, would be really fast, as most of the player base...i.e. casuals (or as elite DB's call them, bads) would be getting what they want. (also you would get more of the pve player base to que for pvp since there wouldn't be as much a chance of getting stomped by elite pvp death squads.) The hardcore pvp base wants and cries for more attention to pvp, sorry ppl, most people don't pvp they pve, so yeah, you're not going to get the attention you crave for this community until some much more grand moves are made to attract more of the player base to this side....but you don't want that either, just look at the posts recently about bad pvers doing comp quests and messing with the elite pvp mojo, it's ridiculous. TL;DR your elitism is hurting your community at large.
  13. sorry but wrong. The premades will have to wait longer...This is the age old argument. This is why they do not want a solo que. There is no way around it. Either most solo quers don't care or don't want to be bothered with taking a stand against non solo ques. Hence, nothing will change...The powers that be will only change somehting if: A- it's broken to a degree of unplayability. B-It effects their bottom line financially. (and you can't blame them for this one, to run a game you need money) C-There is a large outcry from the community at large. (see answer B) I'm sure the pvp guild/premade community would love to go against nothing but other premades all day long ( i laughed as I typed this) because they all want a challenge and not EZ wins or to Roflstomp solo bads. So yeah, if ques could some how stay the same time for solo and premade ques I'm sure the premade community would have 0 problem with adding a solo que, and if not...then yeah, they just want to roflstomp solo que bads for meaning less ez wins and comms.

  15. Start a movement...see a premade as a solo queing pug, bounce, tell your team to bounce and don't reque. That's the only way you will get the attention of the devs to make a change in either making a solo que, or, better match making for regs. I'm not against premades but clearly there are several types of premades, unfortunatly the tank tank healer healer 4 dps que syncers give all premades a bad name.
  16. That would be mids, mids are a premade fest, im talking about lows...11-41. (though i usually level to 20 before entering.) This is just a suggestion for ppl who love pvp but do not want to deal with premades, and aren't serious enough to care about ranked. There's a good mix of casuals, hardcore, and noobs in lows. Also, you're still gaining comms so you can send all your comms to your higher lvl's and scrap your 41 and create a new toon quickly and easily. (incase you get the itch to play endgame pvp.)
  17. If you dont want premades just do lowbies. It takes 40mins to make a lvl 15 char now. Just keep cycling and stay in lows. No ability bloat. Not as much class imbalance and almost 0 premades. It's actually a lot of fun for a casual player like myself.
  18. Grouping up with friends on an organized team is ONLY fun if the other team is a premade or the very rare solo que team of ORGANIZED people. If you read that last sentence and think it's wrong...you are the problem, you are the reason solo que's quit. Steam rolling solo que's as a premade is not fun, it's not challenging, it's epeen at it's worst. It's an ego boost that you clearly need. I love joining with friends and doing premades, so, no, this is not an anti premade post, however...if the opposing teams continue to be challenge less, I quit, it's just not fun at that point.
  19. Haven't you figured it out yet, guard + heals matches suck....boring as hell..0 ability needed to play heals and especially tank, but when combined...just the most boring crap matches ever. Now, heals w/o a tank is a differnt story, you have to have some skill...(but still not that much if you're a sorc/sage) Fast and furious dps races are almost always the ones that get your blood pumping.

  22. I agree mara/sent are not in as bad a spot anymore. PvP is all about mobility and defense. I would agree that if you slow down PT/VG their Def should be increased a bit to compensate. However, as is stands atm, PT/VG is a hard counter for mara/sent , I can deal with any other clases, in fact quite well, but PT/Vg is simply unkillable by sent/mara if played by a good PT.
  23. Popping trancend doesnt help , tran doesn't give immunity like HTL, so after you pop transcend , they slow you and you're still slower then said PT, so sorry but..no.
  24. Playing a mara against a good PT is laughable..impossible to have decent up time on a mid ranged class that is basically unslowable and has 70% run speed boost. Hydraulic overrides has to short a cd..25 seconds not counting the time it is up..no class has that much movement immunity especially considering it's a mid ranged class..it's OP and needs to be tuned down to a 45 sec CD. Essentially if you are using hold the line every CD you have 15 seconds of time that you can be slow/immobilized before HTL is back up...too much mobility for the range and bust ability of this class.
