Im not hating on republic. My main is on there. SMuggler story and VO lines are the best in game i think so far. That being said. Republic loses warzones ALMOST all the time for me. Id put my rough spur of the moment or of nowhere estimate at like 1/6 games republic might squeak out a win

Honestly I used to buy AMD but Intel is far better. Thier quad will out perform the AMD 6 in games and practical aplications. It costs more because its better. sometimes the raw numbers on the back of the box are misleading

hes a protocal droid. Protocal droids are mass preduced and look the same. and if you think hes worthless as a companion (which he basically is) then why spend money to customise. just let him rot in the corner.

This makes me sad. I am having fun with the game but the muddt textures need to be fixed. I have a $3k computer and i dont know what you guys are testing on but my comp can handle it... And if it cant handle it then its a problem with coding not my comp. Sounds concieded but its true..

Well then you/we might actually have a problem. Like I said I have beat it before and after that incident but for one night maybe 3 retries, the same thing happened at that same spot. Couldn't explain it. Logged off, next day tried again. no issues, go figure.

Shoot the escort on purpose, see what happens... I AM sure ALSO to OP: I had a mission on the republic side, second tier escort mission, its in dark space. he goes in between the two big ateriods in like a canyon feel and when you come out your with imp ships on both sides with like 1 minute from light speed and its health went from 90-100% to 50 then dead in like 5 seconds. Is this the same thing you experienced? it happened to me every time i tried it one night only. I beat it before and can beat it now after that night. I can complete the mission with mucho health to spare. Could not explain it but its gone for me now. Space battles are a breeze.

i garauntee that you are friendly fireing on the escort ship. your blasters hurt it up REAL fast. Oh, and search your soul for a second before replying "dude, thats not it at all, im not stupid" because well.. im prob right. This happened to me too. Escort missions are hardest (though not really hard) because you have to watch you fire.

I am loving this game so far. main is 34, lots of alts. I have never played an MMO before except for when i tested for EQ1 so I dont "miss" any features from other games or have any preconception as to what its "supposed" to be and play like. I am having a ton of fun with no great bugs or issues that make the game unplayable. Now i am not a graphics junkie, even though i do appreciate great quality design. That being said the only real issues I have that i feel i need to complain about is lack of HD textures for us with the rigs that can handle it, fixing the green walls and effects caused by those laser towers in Tatooine and probably the worst of all in my opinion is... .. The fact that i am perpetually running around with a green aura around my character as if he is being healed. It sticks on the character after you have companions healing you for long enough. It also has a slight healing noise ( like healing drone hovering) that does not go away either. I play this game almost EXCLUSIVELY with friends and the fix of "just log in and out again" is getting a little old. So believe me, I realise this has been said before, that my thread does not really futher the discussion or speed up a fix, but i felt like i wanted to write it anyways.

I have not had any FPS issues at all but i still have poor quality textures as well. Its very sad. I have no problem with the toony art direction but the lack of details in texturing is a problem. I also have a strong rig and powerful video card.

Well an additional high resolution pack like the one the gave with dragon age 2 would be nice too

are you trying to say that this issue is now fixed? because i was unaware that was the case. Still looks like med graphics to me...

I am loving this game by the way. Never played WOW and never will thanks entirely to the abnoxious fanboy-ism. That being said the ONLY issues i have with this game right now is the fat that these textures are bugged and we cannot get better visuals as intended yet and also that everytime i have a healing companion out I get the annoying green healing aura stuck on me bug. Fix these 2 "minor?" things and I will be very happy.
