  1. I'm an enormous fan of mechanics assisting in imbalanced PVP situations. Some sort of large scale warfare--though not necessarily everybody in the same local area--with people coming and going despite the tides of war pushing to and fro (e.g., old-school Alterac Valley) would be extremely pleasant. Basically, some PVE mechanics to assist in defense and offense would be very nice with opportunities to turn the tide of the battle.
  2. For the love of anything holy, bring to us clickthrough chat windows. Clicking on a name could still address a whisper to a person and such, but clicking through the chat window would open up a ton of screen real estate for playability.
  3. The Balloon's been broken for a month and a half. They can't be bothered to fix the worst possible datacron location in the game. I mean, really. a 30+ minute ride doing nothing. That's exciting stuff. It's exciting only in that the gosh darned balloon disappears and the devs don't give two squats about fixing it.
  4. I'm sure the two to four hours a week for raids greatly impinges on a player's weekly playtime, thus making it impossible or improbable that they'd be able to plug through a few dailies and/or pvp to support the obvious desire to raid.
  5. 1-2 hours a day for the full daily gamut more than covers a day's raid repairs. A weeks worth of dailies more than covers raid repairs, most or all raid consumables, and party money. With the exception of buggy nights, it's baffling that people are somehow able to obtain repair bills per night in the hundreds of thousands of credits. That's several full repairs. Several. Which implies that perhaps you either need better gear to progress, or need to rethink how you're attacking the operation encounter.
  6. Are you ever going to address "Unknown Effect Result" for Snipers and Gunslingers when attempting to enter Cover on things such as railings and moving objects (such as elevators and balloons)?
  7. It's hardly a troll to state that, obviously, something as main-stay as this should, in fact, have been included at launch. Slowly but surely, SWTOR is catching up to where it should have been in the first place.
  8. This. Just having a reason to be on planets other than Ilum and Belsavis would be absolutely amazing. There's a ton of opportunity out there, and some excellent MMO innovation that can be borrowed to spice the game up plenty; but right now, it's mostly waiting on fleet (which, coincidentally, could be time spent on various Star Wars mini-games/timewasters with friends--hint hint).
  9. SWTOR has a very long way to go to catch up to the rest of the competition. As it stands, there's really very little to do when it is quite reasonable to level cap at five days played, and acquire the necessary gear to be high(er) end within a few played days after. The one thing that takes a fairly substantial time to earn is the PVP ranks and associated equipment. In the meanwhile, however, there is very little to do. There's no dynamic content available, such as RIFT's (relatively speaking) off-rails PVE invasions; there's no polish to the game system (see: horrendous bugs that break storylines that have been in existence since day one); there's very little distraction to the endless waiting on fleet ships (well, we do have Huttball). The planets feel very inorganic for this particular point in gaming history, and there's almost no reason to ever go back to them to do anything after we plow through the storyline (other than attempting to find bugged/missing codex entries). They have a rich universe to sample and fill our time with, but instead, we have a protoypical MMO from the yester-years. I still enjoy the time in which I have things to do, such that they are; but patience for glaring oversights only goes so far. Basically, BioWare produced a 2004 game in 2012.
  10. At least Gabe wasn't playing an Imperial Agent. Darth Jadus is nigh unkillable at the end of Act I and has remained this way since launch. Yes, it's possible to finagle the guy around so you can hit him (or target him), but that's not the point--the entire fight is broken and BioWare hasn't seen fit to bother to pretend to give a **** about a major story element. I wonder if they fixed the point in IA's storyline where you miss an entire conversation because you can't see the choices. At all. It's like they have monkeys working on this stuff and don't bother paying humans to test it--or even heed customer complaints long enough to think about fixing basic, crippling points in the game. And that's not even talking about Soa. Don't get me started about Soa.
  11. I've gotten most and/or all of the ones that are not buggy/missing
  12. Give us things to do. So, I must not be alone. I'm bored. I don't want to sit in fleet for hours jumping around. I want to be out in the world(s) doing something. Give us something to do! Fixing the Codex entries that are bugged and/or missing would go a ways towards doing just that, but so would adding something like collections (as seen in other games such as EQII and Rift) would be amazing to kill some time. Bored in fleet? Why not have some mini-games available to play with friends or droids? Planets dull and lifeless? Womp rats sitting in the same place since day one? Add in some dynamic content! Rift was an excellent example of this. Monsters actively doing something other than sitting still and/or aimlessly shuffling about? Practically blasphemous in MMOs for almost 15 years. Wait. 15 years? It's time to innovate (or "borrow") a bit! Give us things to do.
  13. The changes aren't horrible, but neither are they good. Given that the GCD is approximately 1.5 seconds, the entire UI bar flashes every 1.5 seconds basically all of the time people are in game. I wish there was a way to disable the pretty obnoxious "ready" flash for those of us that don't really appreciate it.
  14. Do you consider it acceptable to have the first released operation, the Eternity Vault, still in such a buggy mess after a month and a half?
  15. Possible fix: If team wins: add one to win count for all listed players on that team. Hint: The team has won if it has "Victory!" in the title bar after the game ends.
  16. If you're a Sith Sorceror (or Consular?) you can shield the person afflicted to mitigate almost all of the damage. Other than that, he hits like a wet noodle, so not much else needs your attention.
