  2. BT, Boarding Party, and Foundry are all complete jokes on hard mode even with fresh 50 quest gear. The gear you get there will get you set for the other hard modes.
  3. You do realize that you can still queue as a group, you just have to reform the group every single time you queue, right? It's not like leaving the group intact is going to stop people from playing with their friends. *groups disbands from warzone queue* "oh crap guys where did you go? I guess we can't PvP together anymore!"

  5. And by that I mean you shouldn't have to make a new group every single time you queue for a warzone. Come on, this was launch day stuff eight years ago.
  6. There are hardly any Republic players on Ilum anymore. It makes it incredibly hard to complete the daily, and even harder to find a good group to trade valor with. Please allow imperials to flag for pvp against one another so that we can aoe farm ourselves.
  7. Open world PvP will not work unless there is a tangible benefit that outweighs kill swapping. It never has, and it never will. The majority of the playerbase will not PvP "correctly" if using a creative method yields more rewards. Too bad that won't be happening.
  8. If they really want to fix Ilum, they need to make it work more like Wintergrasp in WoW did. Battles start at set times, it summons each team into the zone and places them on their sides, and then gives each side a set number of respawns so that it can't last forever. Winners get a large bonus to valor, or maybe champ/bm bags, or something, so there is actually incentive to win. I'm pretty sure wow never had any issues with players standing around kill trading, and that's because they didn't implement PvP in the most absolute horrible way possible (granted wow pvp does have a lot of glaring flaws as well). In the meantime, I am absolutely going to pile up and aoe down the enemy faction, trading kills instead of waiting on a 30+ minute queue for a game that may last only 5 min and give about 800 valor.

  10. I've been trying to figure this out and can't really seem to come up with a good answer. Why do Tionese Crystals exist? At first I thought it was to limit your buying power of the Tionese gear, but you will always have more crystals than commendations, due to how frequently they drop in hard modes. I honestly have no idea why they are even in the game, and why they couldn't just make each boss drop one commendation, and adjust the price of gear accordingly. Has Bioware ever commented on this, or does anyone have a theory as to why they exist?

  14. I am so sad that I'm at work right now and not able to farm valor.
  15. If it is supposed to work this way it may be bugged then. The game I was in, we pushed through the first doors and bridge in the first two minutes, but got held at the second doors. The enemy team took nearly the whole game to push through the first doors, and only got the bridge across with 45 seconds to go, and they still won.

  17. I just finished a game of Voidstar where neither team made it past the second set of blast doors, but the attackers in the second round won. What is the victory condition in a case like this? I'm positive it is not based on team k/d ratio, because our team had a much, much higher ratio than the enemy team, but other than that I'm not sure what it could be based on.
  18. Shouldn't Darth Vader be number one? I mean he is the only Sith who made a guy totally disintegrate with his lightsaber.
  19. To people suggesting that he use his CC breaker to get out of the initial stun, you do realize that it doesn't make you instantly stand up from the knockdown, don't you? You still have to do the whole "lol standing up now" animation, which may as well be a 3 sec stun of its own. Of course this could just be another fantastic bug but it's always worked that way for me when I get knocked down by an operative.

  21. The fail is that the items you spend time/money RE'ing cannot be sold to other players, and that there is a better alternative to him since he is already a biochemist. It makes it completely unecessary to bother RE'ing the epic purple items if you can get a better re-usable item in two levels. Unless you want to stay level 48 and roleplay with your 48/380 Biochem stim, I guess. Edit: I do *somewhat* see the logic in it, because you don't need to run hard mode flashpoints to get the mats for the 380 adrenal, but with how easy it is to run black talon immediately after hitting 50, it does seem like a major waste of time/money to RE enough stims to get that pattern, and then spend the materials crafting it when the better alternative can be gotten from a single run of hard mode BT (and a little luck on the roll).
  22. I agree that this should be changed, along with knockbacks and immobilizers increasing the resolve meter as well. It is currently way too easy to keep a melee class locked down after they use their gap closer, and I say this playing as a Sorcerer.
  23. Under the Preferences menu, in the user interface section, there are checkboxes to turn on a secondary quickbar underneath the primary one, as well as a left and right quickbar. You can also map key bindings to these bars by clicking the key bindings tab in the preferences menu, and selecting Quickslot Bars. Edit: Currently, you cannot add a third bar to the bottom, only the second.
