    When i see 6 ppl ("you") vs 4 enemies and you all die killing nothing or 1 at most, its afk /leave wz time.

     

    or when i solo guard left door in voidstar vs (usualy 2-3 ppl) and they cap right with 7 defenders vs 5-6 attackers......

     

    or when i guard 1 turret (cc play )or wait to ninja vs 3 and u you lose all other fronts while having numeric advantage...

     

    or when enemy has 3(+) healers and i have marked them all, yet everyone is attacking a different target, not focusing fire anyone...

     

    in hutball when u randomly fill attacker resolve bar with incapacitates (aoe ones are the best making entire teams immune to kb, pulls,cc) or are spread out on the map not doing anything objective related...

     

    when you break a cc->cap combo because u like to mash buttons...

     

     

    or when... well u get the idea, if you can not win a fight (or at least survive so that they don't cap) where u have the advantage its time for you to l2p.

     

    You forgot 3 more :

     

    When teamate has ball in front of our score line, after the enemy ball carrier died and....instead of droping it down, he tries to kill someone while he has 20% hp left...

     

    Teamate leaves turret defenseless, only to come and ruin my solo kill , and then enemy goes and caps it.

     

    Merc is trying to kill enemy mara/jugg ball carrier, while standing on the ramp of our scoreline, After u yelled at him 3 times that he ll jump on him.

  2. I just list one evidence.

     

    Pre-1.2, when people read the 1.2 patch, many people say: ****, sentinel's focus spec is buffed too much. There would be no other classes but focus sentinels in WZs, they would be so OP, so please do not release 1.2 or adjust the changes.

     

    Now, it is about 2 weeks after 1.2. Well, I still see a lot of other classes in the WZs. Shadow/assassin is the class I see the most in warzones.

     

    And most sentinels are still using watchman spec. It's very clear that many people are wrong about 1.2 patch.

     

    So, why BW would listen to those guys, whose only ability is crying or QQing:)? Try to be reasonable and objective.

     

    You clearly havent met premade of 3 rage marauders + healer.

    After u meet one, i wanna see if still u insist on your topic.

  3. Yes, a few patches back. Reusables weren't king for very long. Apparently the only way to stop the QQ is to remove the crew skill from the game.

     

    Thats the most stupid solution i ever heard...

    How about removing 400 biochem requirement on reusables? Or adding 400 synth/ armtech/ artifice / etc etc requirement on their augmented gear?

    As a PVPer, i unleared all my crew skills on all my 3 50s to learn biochem...Rakata medpack is a MUST for those who pvp.

  4. It is too late now but i think the best a comapany can do with a mmorpg pvp is not to listen to their player base, its the players that ruin most pvp not the company.

    They should stick to their vision of balance and change things as they see fit, not becuase the number of posts made about the subject.

    Every mmorpg i have played with pvp gets ruined because of players that do not wish to learn or change the way they fight when things go wrong.

     

    I couldnt agree more...

    The OP talked so much trash about the classes he doesnt play and i wont bother to waste time arguing and explaining things to ppl...

    I rly hope Bioware wont listen to community and do alone their research.

  5. Solid proof that mara is way overpower compared to juggs.

     

    Rage spec is common between jugg and mara .

    BUT

    Mara has defensive cds that jugg doesnt.

    And the more important

     

    Jugg has only rage mechanic,

    Mara has the same rage , PLUS Fury....

     

    Why someone choose jugg to play rage while mara can have exactly the same talent, but get benefit of FURY mechanic too?? And the insane survivability?

     

    Its obvious that Bioware says : You want max dps as rage ? roll mara

    You wanna survive more than tanks in tank gear? roll mara

    You wanna do Max dmg without losing a single bit of your survivability? roll mara

  6. So your whole gripe is that a class that has 3 DPS trees does more damage than the tank. Oh ok :rolleyes:

     

    I was comparing dps specs with dps specs...

     

    If jugg is only tank,

    then Mercenary is healer class only

    Assassin is tank class only

    Sorcerer is healing class only

    Operative is healing class only

    Powertech is tank class only,

     

    And since none of the above are dps class like maras and snipers. none of them will do as much dmg as a sniper or mara...

     

    This is what u are trying to say?

  7. Not a QQ, not a whine, just an expression of my own opinion.

     

    Marauders and Sentinels were not buffed, they always were (and still are) a class that has several abilities and require perfect execution to be really good with. In the hands of a player who knows his class, yes he will tear you to shreds, but every class has a counter class. Example, in WoW a warlock's worst nightmare is a rogue. My recommendation to you is this, read up on your class. Learn every ability and its ups and downs, what moves should you use against this class, and which ones you shouldn't use. I play a scrapper and a MM sniper, so let's just say I'm on my sniper. There is never a reason for me to use knockbacks against ranged classes, waste of a GCD and a waste of energy. Marauders on the other hand, if I play it smart, and keep him as far away as possible, I'll rip through most marauders (the only ones I can't beat are the ones who are really good players and learned to counter my class). Marauders hit hard but they are not invincible.

     

    That being said, people need to stop crying out for nerfs, because many of those same people would never be seen on the forums if their class was the one people want nerfed. To sum everything up, Don't call for nerfs, just learn your class and learn how to counter other classes. Being a good player takes time and effort, and if you're not willing to work for it, or put forth the effort, then it is not your place to point the finger.

     

    I play a jugg and i can tell u why maras are overpowered..

    They gave us a new "defensive cd"

    It heals 3% per sec for 10 sec with 1 min cd, BUT enemy attacks have 1.5 sec global cd, so we never ever gonna get healed 2 times within 2 secs... Tested... Also it needs 4 rage to activate, and each time u get healed by it, u lose 1 rage, making u unable to dps when u use it...

    Now, if u add a vengeance talent, it gives the spell 15% dmg reduction for 10 sec, that makes it a bit ok.

    And here goes maras... they have cloak of pain that does 20% dmg reduction (5% more than jugg) same cd 1 min only, lasts up to 30 sec, as long as u get hit once every 6 sec and deals some small dmg back to enemy...

    Additionaly, it doesnt need ANYTHING to activate it.. unlike jugg's that need 4+ 1 rage per sec for 10 sec, 14 Rage point total !!

     

    About force scream, was 1 of the highest dps abilities on vengeance tree and still does dmg 2nd only to ravage after 1.2 . Jugg talent gives it +60% crit chance..

    And there goes mara again, with his carnage spec, that force scream isnt the main dps ability on it.

    Yet they get +100% crit on it, and they have talent to give it +30% crit dmg extra...

    Also a skill that ignores 100% of enemy armor for 6 sec, which makes ravage super effective on them...

     

    About rage, no need to say much, they have exactly the same after 1.2 but more effective cause of their insane defensive cds...

     

    And anni, which is by far the best...as soon as u apply dots on enemy, its like putting timer on him...He needs to kill u faster than the dots kill him...But how to kill faster something that has :

    1) stealth for 4 sec

    2) 99% reduction for 6 sec

    3) -90% accurancy debuff for 6 sec

    4) 20% dmg reduction for up to 30 sec

    5) 30% permanent aoe dmg reduction through talent (hf smashing and deathfield)

     

    Good luck with that...

     

    Also if u are a healer , add the healing reduce debuff and then hf surviving...

     

    I sadly have juggernaut main. And if i spec dps, rage or vengeance, i feel like a heavily nerfed marauder...

    If i chose to tank as jugg for pvp, i feel like a useless tank compared to powertechs and assassins...

     

    So...*** u talking about balance...

  8. After lvling biochem on my 2 50s, i decided to learn something else on my 3rd 50lvl alt.

    So, long story short, lvled synth to 400, wasted over 500k for it, to buy recipes of augments and stuff.

    Most time i wasted on blue might augment to research the epic one.

    20% chance, i RE over 20 augments and still no epic pattern..

    Thx bioware for all the money i wasted for nothing, while i could simply buy augments from GTN for a lot cheaper than the money i wasted cause of your broken RNG. And lets say i learned it...then what? I would sell that to other ppl that have biochem profession while i cant use their resusable stims...

     

    Maybe its a bit late, but i unlearned synth to go for biochem, again....on a 3rd 50lvl...

    Good job bioware for your awesome professions..

    If you have a family, this game is not for you.

    If you take a vacation to a place outside of the NA timezones, this game is not for you.

    If you volunteer to go to Japan to assist with rebuilding communities that were destroyed by last years earthquake and tsunami and you bring your laptop with you, do not play SWTOR PvP.

    If you have any other hobbies you enjoy doing, this game is not for you.

    If you rolled on a low population server, this game is not for you.

    If you rolled Empire and the Republic field the same premade during the only two/three hour time window you have to play and your side have no PvP healers that queue at that time, this game is not for you.

     

    If you do not win constantly, you will not farm enough tokens for gear before July of this year. This game is now a gear *GRIND*. It rewards players that spend the most time in game. This is a horible design

     

    It was not a grind before, you did your dailys for BM comms and you were done in a few hours. That is not a grind. You recieved the same amount of Comms for completing the dailies as the next guy. Even grinding 1000/1000 comms took FOREVER and buying 1 comm did not give a person a large advantage. The grinders did not have a distinct gear advantage over the casuals

     

    Yes, I know this is a hardcore vs casual complaint I am posting on the internet. From the dawn of MMOs its been "he who spends most time in game wins". And the grind was needed to keep players playing. Capping the rewards per day with an INSANE grind for a mediocre reward was a perfect setup. It lets us casuals, us with a life outside the game, feel a sense of accomplishment. And lets be honest here, thats what all MMO players want. Every single one of us want a sense of accomplishment. Right now it takes me 2 to 3 days to get 3 wins because of the time zone I am currently in, the server I play on and the side I picked. And I am in the #1 rated PvP guild on my server (no BS). So this isnt a get a guild issue. When I play with them on the weekends we win, however that opportunity is few and far between so I solo 90% of the time. My fun-o-meter is at 0, my ambition to get gear in this game has gone and I no longer look forward to coming home after a day of work and relaxing by finishing up some daily missions/quests and catch up to my peers in gear.

     

    This game punishes casual and solo players. Pathetic to no rewards for a loss with no negative affect applied when leaving a WZ leads to terrible games. Today I was the only person left after Republics capped Voidstar in 3 minutes. I just stood on our spawn waiting for my "teams" turn at offense to be over. That was not an enjoyable experience. Luckily though, after 4 hours of playing I got 2 wins and finished my daily from TUESDAY (at the time I write this it is 1 hour past the daily reset on Thursday).

     

    Many things will solve this issue. Redo WZ rewads to pre-1.2, so the grinders can still grind their little hearts out and get a negligible amount of comms over those of us with a life outside of gaming while still allowing us to stay competitive with gear.

     

    Or implement cross server queues so that I dont face the same premade again and again. and again. and again. ad nauseam

     

    Or server merge so there are more than 15 people queueing for WZs at unpopular times of the day.

     

    In summary, I have cancelled my account since I will not participate in a gear grind. My time runs out tomorrow. Maybe in a few months I'll be back, but with GW2 on the horizon I highly doubt that.

  10. They're entirely different trees for entirely different classes.

     

    Mara carnage tree has +100% crit on force scream instead of +60%

    And they have +30% crit dmg talent for force scream too, BOTH on carnage and rage spec....

    They have 100% armor ignore skill,, that makes their ravage crit for exrtemely high dmg,

    Extra attacks from ataru form that cause their next rage spending ability to do + 20% more dmg.

     

    If u never played 50lvl mara, u cant immagine how sickening their dps is...

    And what pissed me off a lot, was that annih maras, called the carnage spec, Trash!!

    I dare them to play vengeance on a jugg/guardian then, LOL

    This is my second time making a PvP video, playing a full Vigilance Guardian in PvP in the best gear.

    I wanted to get it out before 1.2 so I rushed it a little bit, and didn't get all the footage I want, so I played far from perfect but I hope you will still enjoy!

     

     

    If I make a third one in 1.2 I'll take more time :) any suggestions or feedback is appreciated!

    Seriously....i got sick of that movies of "cherrypicked" battles that the one who made the video never loses a fight..

    Where are the battles of lost 1v1 games?

  12. Anyone who thinks arena isn't a measure of skill, obviously lacks skill. The skill required to set up kills and actually coordinate with your teammates is much higher than running around in warzones. Sure there may be some imbalances and some OP comps, but that is the whole fun of the damn system. Its fun playing different setups and learning to coordinate your abilities with your partner's. Its also much easier to log on with a couple of buddies and pvp in a 3v3 battle rather than try and get 8 together for a warzone. Yes some classes will work better with others and some might even seem OP together, but the fact of the matter is arena is the only way to get good competitive pvp going, that actually requires some thinking involved.

     

    I remember at launch of wotlk, a DK was my 1st class that went to 80 lvl cause it was the most cool class for me.

    Then 1 night, my pala friend asked me to help him with some arena games so he ll get points before reset...

    I dont know how it happened, but we end up at 2k rating that night, and after 3 weeks, Gladiators...

  13. Just wondering if you guys think BW is trying to hard to please former WoW casuals with how easy it is to obtain BM gear and starter gear?

     

    I dont like to die by srub keyboard turners, only because they sit in front of pc for 16 hours per day and have better gear than me...

    For me PVP gear should be purchasable by money for everyone that ding 50, with exactly the same quality. And the PVP farm shoud be only for cosmetics...

     

    On both my alts, i was terrible outgeared before 1.2, while farming wz and finally, when i got my last end game pvp piece, i lost mood and rerolled other alt...

    1 v 1

    Sentinels have all the tools for 1vs1. They have 3 great cooldowns for 1vs1.

    90% decrease accuracy

    99% dmg decrease

    50% parry/defense with 25% dmg reduction on force/tech attacks

    Stealth to get 1-2 free shots.

     

    Then they buff ravage and smash. Which makes Gore + ravage + smash or force scream, an instant win.

     

     

     

    well my question is that if you use an ability every 1.5 seconds or every global cooldown.

     

    You forgot cloak of pain 20% dmg reduction for 30 sec with only 1 min cd,,,,

    And 30% passive aoe dmg reduction on talent , which makes smash and death field crit on them for less than 2k

  14. Lord no, KB are on a shorter CD for most classes than interupts, making us immune to KB while pumping that damage is way worse than now, trust me.

    Either make it interruptable again or tone down the damage, both was not really needed IN COMBINATION with the other.

    Keeping either would be ok imo, since it's somewhat easy countered still.

     

    Interruptable -> high damage

    Non interruptable -> lower damage

     

    Lets nerf juggernauts even more because maras are OP.....

    -As a sentinel you have several choices. Pacify,awe,camo,stasis, never counter with your own GBTF, thats just fail.

    We have more then just awe... And that goes for other classes as well. They have more then just one ability to stop a marauder. If he trinkets and you cast force choke then you essentially just made him waste his DR. So whats the issue here? He wasted his defensive cool down, he's now an easy kill...

     

    This is just a case of you being a bad player.

     

     

     

    This can be said about any class. Despite all the nerfs to scoundrels I still see a few of them tear people up pretty badly.

     

    You DO realise that for mara , u are much easier kill than him?

    He can kill u as fast as hot knife cuts through butter...

    You dont have his dps to kill him faster than he ll kill u.

    And you dont have even half of his defensive cd's to use..

     

    Mara cant choke u while u use endure pain?....he can, and he made ur endure pain wasted...

    Mara cant "awe" you while u do saber ward? He can, and he made ur saber ward wasted...

     

    Now if he dot u from start before doing these and before using any defensive cd....you are dead before u realise it..

  16. simply root/stun them.

     

    Example: When I see a marauder do his DR I do awe as a fake stun just in case he has is escape off CD. Force him to break then do force stasis...Bam he just wasted his "awesome" ability. If either of those are on CD I camo. The same can be applied with other classes that have roots/stuns. Healers do this same thing with their heals. Cast one to force someone to waste an interrupt then cast their good heal. Its called playing smart.

     

    Only bad players complain about stuff that isn't OP.

     

    Mara does ravage i do awe

    Mara use cloak of pain, i do awe

    Mara does 99% dmg reduce spec, i do awe

    Mara does -90% acurancy debuff on me, i do awe

     

    I got sick of watching these fail posts...

    Awe has 1 min cd...and u can use it once....u choose what spell of his to interrupt...

    If he trinkets at start and dot u like a christmas tree...have fun using choke and other thing to stall the fight....

    You would be dead in no time

    Also they first dot, and then use defensive cds...

     

    2nd....Mara/sent, has awe too...And he can use it easily to counter your +30% hp cd...or ur new worthless "defensive" cd that guardian / sents got. Or to interrupt your Ravage....

    3rd Mara has stealth too to cancel your +30% hp , your saber ward and Your ravage.

     

    4th, even if the u manage to negate all his defensive cds...Mara would still outdmg u...

     

    I beat maras too as jugg...I beat so many backpedlers, keyboard turners, clickers, etc...

    But never ever managed to beat a mara that has a clue how to play his class...

    The snipers u beat have l2p issues....

     

    I kill 9/10 snipers too, even i 1v2 them.

    But good snipers are impossible to kill, no matter how many times i duel them

  18. I can attest to good gunslingers/snipers making our life a living hell.

     

    They are the rock to our scissors.

     

    If u are mara and cant beat snipers, then immagine how it feels being a jugg like my main...

    Less survivability, less dmg and also cant cc them, stun, push them, interrupt them.

     

    AT least as mara will have more chances to beat them...cause as jugg is impossible.

    But since i played warhammer, i know that mythic wont nerf us for a long long time, or maybe never...

    And we just received a huge buff in 1.2 :D

    Cant nerf a class that got buffed in previous patch.

  20. Dear Bioware,

    Plz dont nerf marauders. I just rerolled a mara myself.

    The class is balanced and have same survivability and same dmg with all other classes.

     

    To convince you all that mara is balanced and not OP, i ll soon post a guide on how to beat them.

     

    Plz again bioware dont nerf my marauder. I quited a valor rank 70 and a valor 59 to play a mara.
