  1. ^Ehh I was in a QQ thread and heard someone mention their heals being weak so I figured why not. I actually find their heals to be rather good, and my guilds rated team is more then happy to leave one all alone on a node in any point capture game. I like those changes to Merc though. I think really they just need to get Flameburst like the Powertechs and all would be gravy.
  2. Okay so for once can we all be sort of positive? What classes need to be buffed or adjusted upwards to bring them to the same level as the so perceived Flavor of the Month classes? What can be done to fix the Scoundrel/Operative? What do Trooper/BH healers need to be competitive? How can the underplayed specs be brought up to par? Personally I think a second vanish ability, that gives a X speed boost, and only lasts 3-4 seconds would be a great ability to give tot he Scoundrel/Operative. It works as an effective gap closer in PvP, gives them the benefits of their stealth abilities in PvE, and would stop people complaining about the Sentinel/Marauder stealth. Make it boost speed by 50% untalented and then (if trees are redone) a way to talent it to 65/80% or so. Anyone else have anything constructive and positive?
  3. It is interuptable by either a knockback or a stun, something most classes have in abundance.
  4. Master Strike is....wonky at best. A good 80% of the time its going to be interrupted, either by a knock back or a stun. Really what major overhaul have Sentinels/Marauders had? The Combat and Focus trees were buffed, but Watchmen was nerfed slightly, and Master Strike received a small buff. How does one channeled ability make this class overpowered? Use one of the bajilion stuns/knockbacks and you shut it down. The CDs have not changed at all since launch, heck Cloak of Pain was ADDED during beta because there was so much complaining about Sents/Marauders being underpowered.
  5. Hahaha really? Do you not remember the thousands of "Marauders/Sentinels are underpowered" threads that flooded the forums? What is funny is between 1.0-1.2 almost nothing changed for Marauders and Sentinels. There weakest two tress were buffed, but outside of that nothing changed. We still have the same defensive CDs, the same basic skill set. The one thing that changed was people began to learn to play their class. Sentinel and Marauder have a higher skill cap, and reward the extra effort more then most classes. This is why people are having a problem with them.
  6. Limit of 800. A vote to kick system would be abused.
  7. What needs to happen is they need to remove the cash trade in, that would stop all the idiots from just selling it off. Also, before anyone jumps down my throat I have one simple question. Would you go into an Operation without getting the basic gear first? No, no you would not, so please don't go into PvP without the most basic of gear.
  8. The only change to Civil War I would like to see is to make it more like the Coast. Make is so ships only lose health if you have two guns capped. Civil War is a joke since once the other team has twice your score there is no point in continuing. The change to caps would make for more exciting games since you can actually come back from a close game. Nothing feels better then capping a turret at 2% on the Coast when the enemy has 100% and then you WIN.
  9. If they added Roots to the resolve bar I would be happy BUT roots are the main thing that shuts down Maruaders/Sentinels so I think they should stay the way they are. Even though roots are one of the most effective Sentinel counters most people don't use them anyway so...
  10. Seeing more Pyrotechs then anything. Most games I have played have had 2-3 of them. Marauders/Sentinels? Not as many, most are names I recognize and they have been playing for awhile, obviously not FOTM rollers.
  11. Nope, our stealth does not break combat regardless if we have DoTs up or not.
  12. Wrong. Sentinel/Marauder stealth does not remove them from combat.
  13. Had a game yesterday, the other team had 6 healers, and the game ended in a 0-0 loss. Our sides DPS (including myself) were all up over 600k damage...and about 20 kills between the five of us. We got a "victory" message....and so did the Imperials.
  14. And nothing. Also oh noes QUEUES to wait and play?!?!? I would rather wait 20mins and have a full server then get in immediately and play on a dead server.
  15. Bout 40mins and we will know, that's my guess anyway, why else do maintenance?

    I find it best to use on players who aren't paying attention. Three minutes into the match you should be able to tell who this is. Merc/Sniper who is tunnel visioning? Master Strike Sorc/Bh who is channeling a long cast? Master Strike Giant insane cluster of melee/ranged AoE? Master Strike

  18. Without any expertise you will be taking around 15% more damage and dealing around 18% less.
  19. Do not do the "buy Battlemaster trade for Warhero" path. Save all your comms, hit 50 and buy as much of your Battlemaster gear as possible (weapon first, then armor etc). After fill in the gaps with Recruit gear. Do not skip any slots, fill it all with Expertise gear.
  20. Weapons first. They add the biggest amount of difference in the amount of damage you can do.
  21. Ahh the good old days! The only thing we had to complain about was the lack of release date information and the ORANGE PIXEL OF DOOM. Can we have those days back please?
  22. Yes because telling people that they need to learn to play before they whine is such a crime.
  23. Their. Also, yeah Arsenal mercs are one of the most poorly designed classes in the entire game. A single interrupt takes them down. Now when 2-3 of them stack on a melee target they win.
  24. Hmm seems I will be dropping my +random damage Campaign relic and grabbing that tasty +power one.
