  1. Scaling with level (Inheretance = prototype, Birthright = artifact), or giving an experience boost stat would all go a long way into giving value to these great yet totally obsolete pieces.
  2. Surely they could interrogate this in the Galactic Strongholds? Imagine a datacron vault inside your Galactic Stronghold could be made with all your unlocked datacrons. Should be pretty easy..? Add identical copies (same item ID) of them inside the Stronghold, and they should be un-interactable just like the if you've already collected. Alts would be able to easily collect 'em, and it would make sense with the Galactic Stronghold being your treasure cave and all.
  3. This should still be considered. Also for the future Legacy Strongbox or whatever the legacy cargohold thing will be called in GSH.
  4. I agree. Since they are adding new stuff to the Fleet Commendations, this would be an excellent addition and incentive for those of us that still want to grind out that rep but don't fancy grinding the snore-fest space-PVE.
  5. Concept 3: This would be a great third addition to Legacy Ship mastery. Concept 4: Make companion unlocks also count legacywide for all your characters co-pilots.
  6. I'd love to see them make Ship Mastery more useful and desireable. Concept 1: Make a Legacy Unlock window (mockup: http://imgur.com/RlxM18B), with all the ships lined up and every ship mastered giving x% bonus to your total ship requisition - legacy wide. Perhaps they could lower the Mastery bonus to <5% but let it stack per ship unlocked total. With 16 ships unlocked you'd get a 80% Ship Req boost. Pretty big, but considering you need to farm 16x150k ship req (estimate), this totally evens out and makes decking out all the ships (Imp & Rep) more bareable and enjoyable, and encourages and rewards people to play both sides even more (same as with all the companion unlocks), ensuring more flight hours per player. Concept 2: also add Cartel Ships into the fold (2nd mockup: http://i.imgur.com/PnRQaDB.jpg). This will increase their perceived value and appeal to everyone, this increasing sales (and overall use of the things). P.S. I do apologise for my terrible MSPaint skills. Idea based on this thread.
  7. Mr. Musco, Will we ever see a return to official polls, e.g. like the one on facebook? (Though I'd prefer a mandatory poll in the gamelauncher or even an ingame pop-up)? That'll give you a better, higher throught-put answer from the active playing community, not just the forum dwellers.
  8. Wish the devs would do this poll officially like when they did a poll back in the day on Facebook with the Party Jawa... Anyhow: Planets, Class Stories, Companions, Minigames and Legacy for me.
  9. I can confirm the problem and have also made a ticket ingame. Let's hope it gets picked up, since they are working on fixing a lot of codex and achievements lately.
  10. Sick of gamers attitude. They can't make thread titles the way they used to, so now they make sensationalist whiney titles that I hope get deleted without further notice.
  11. Can't say they were really memorable. But yea, either the ones on Quesh or Nar'shadaa.
  12. My thoughts exactly. 4100 CC, or about €30 worth of CC for a single character's Legacy Perks with about the worth of 1,1M credits + 30 hours of experience boost worth a total of about 500k credits - so a total of +-1,6M credits for €30? Who the hell is in charge of these pricings? I can do better then that. Where can I leave my application?
  13. Would be nice if Damion Schubert gave us an update on that. It's been a year. x)
  14. Let's up the Complimentary Coins subscribers get to 1000+, then we'll talk.
  15. Sorry for the digging up this old thread, but I wanted to know some stuff considering I'm planning this with my friend. I noticed that you haven't recommended a player tank+player healer combo - is the reason for this lack of DPS? Also: have you guys tried out any HK-51 droids yet? My buddy and I are planning of running a Sage healer + Shadow tank combo with two HK-51s with a ton of presence, and judging from the obscene amount of damage they can do, we started thinking that the HK droids can really compensate in the damage department when compared to other companions. We just freshly dinged 50, and are considering getting our HKs polished up with the DT12/DT13 gear complimented with augments - though that may be overkill.
  16. I've added most of your remarks. Thanks for the insights! Hoping to learn more about what happens with Denova/Asation - and I'm not really sure what conclusion to draw to Quesh either.
  17. Hey, I was wondering and attempting to figure out the canon results of all the world arcs, as it's kinda hard to tell what is the end result after having played both the Republic as well as the Empire, so I kinda wanted to make a sort of chronological timeline of it all, and hopefully find out what the canon 'conclusion' of each planet or situation is. Obviously this will be full of SPOILERS. Origin Planets Hutta: Empire persuades local Hutts into alliance of some sort - so could be considered Imperial. Korriban: Sith homeworld. Nothing of the galactic strife to be seen here. Obviously under Imperial control. Ord Mantell: Republic foils Imperial backed-Seperatist attack and remains under Republic control. Tython: Republic foils Imperial backed-trouble making of the Flesh Raiders. Capital Worlds Coruscant: Republic finds Imperials manipulation of the local criminal gangs as well as actual Imperials - they are wiped out before posing a threat. Dromund Kaas: Internal powerstruggles amongst the Sith seen but nothing major - Lord Tytonus's mercenary army gets repelled - no sign of Republic influence? Post-capital World Taris (Republic -> Imperial): Republic tries to resettle it, but this is later undone by the Empire - ends up Imperial controlled. Balmorra (Imperial -> Republic): Empire squelches the resistance and occupies it, but is later the occupation is undone by the Republic. Nar Shadaa (Hutt): Hutt controlled. Both sides vie to gain more influence. Republic destroys Imperial labor/extermination camps. Imperials mostly try to save their face and gain influence amongst the Hutt Cartel. Remains neutral. Tatooine (Contested - originally Hutt or independent?): Both sides protect their interests and beachheads, and uncover and foil Czerka - no obvious clashes or Hutt influence - so remain neutral. Alderaan (Contested -> Neutral): House Thul and Organa are being helped by their factions and both destroy House Ulgo and help House Panteer - I am uncertain what the actual result is. Quesh (Hutt-Republic -> Contested): Used to be a joint Hutt-Republic effort, but becomes contested after the Empire gets cut a deal by the three families. Both factions try to gain loyality and block the other to gain help and more stims. Hoth (Republic -> Contested): Republic controlled but backwater which is why the Empire is there. Both factions try to salvage wrecks and foil eachother's chance at doing so. Imperials mostly plan to force the Republic to overcommit in trying to defend their secrets. Belsavis (Republic -> Contested): Republic controlled prison. Imperials seek to destabilise it, and to free the Dread Masters. Republicans try to control the damage, but you could say it's pretty much lost. The Dread Masters eventually turn rogue. Voss (Neutral -> ?): Obviously neutral, but both factions seem to gain the support of the Voss Mystics by the end of the story arc so it's hard to say what's the actual conclusion. Correlia (Republic -> Empire -> Republic = Contested?): The Imperial world arc seems to be about gaining control of Corellia with the help of Decimus, but in the Republican arc Decimus is later killed and the planet becomes liberated. The Black Hole bonus series is about controlling the damage done by Councilor Torvix? Ilum (Republic -> Contested -> Republic) Though originally somewhat of a backwater Republican controlled planet, war breaks out on Ilum as the Imperials find out how to make new stealth generators for their ships here. Darth Malgus eventually does a power grab with his New Empire, but is beaten down after. Denova (Contested -> Dread Masters -> ?): Originally Republic controlled and invaded by the Empire, but is later turned into an army alligned to the Dread Masters, and both the Imperials and the Republicans beat down the uprising. Asation (Gree -> Dread Masters -> ?) Originally Gree controlled, but then later taken by the Dread Masters. No idea what happens here exactly, but both factions obviously try to stop the Dread Masters. Makeb (Neutral -> Dread Masters + Hutt Cartel?) Not much is known apart from that the Hutt Cartel with help of the Dread Masters seeks to control this world.
  18. A brutally honest and well worded summary of the whole MMO PVP community. Good post. Titles and mounts are the nicest epeen swings you can have. I remember back in the beginning of SWTOR when people were shocked to see Battlemasters, or the first War Hero/Conquerors. Add a ridiculous cool mount progression and some cosmetic gear - all that's necessary. I too tire of the number grinding and the gear gaps defining the matches.
  19. Kinda hope that they aren't going to make current stuff redundant, keeping 'power creep' in check with Makeb. I do vaguely remember them saying that they didn't expect to make the old stuff redundant, or maybe they'll retune stuff to the slightly higher new stats? To answer your question if and where I see powercreep turning up? Lvl 50s Warzones for one, without the bolster and equalised stats the difference between a fresh 50 and a fully augmented War Hero is still gamebreaking.
  20. Think before you talk. These are the blue augment materials, people want purple augments. No one buys blue augments, thus no demand for blue augment materials. You always get the blues from the missions. Anyhow, they will see a use in 1.3 as a part of the recipe for an augment kit.
  21. I noticed the price drop and increase in modifiers for the Companion affection perks. 90k for a 30% boost seems more spot on - I'd definitely consider buying them now. I've said it before and I'll say it again, the experience modifiers feel too underwhelming.
  22. Look out, the FBI watching you post on these forums!
