Are you sure about this? It seems like an awful lot of stormtroopers to have barely any clones. They sure seem like clones with new armor.

You know, I am having an absolutely terrific time with this game and think for a new released MMO, it is really well done. That being said, there have been a lot of complaints about the game. I will admit it has some glaring problems but imo none that hinder the game experience greatly and nothing serious for a brand new game. I think people expect this game to be as good as a 7 year old polished MMO. I think that although they don't have any great reasons, a lot of people will leave but this game is/was so hugely hyped that I think it will continue to grow. I think the vast majority of players like the game, remember those who like the game are playing it, not complaining on the forums. That being said, I would predict that the game has relatively the same amount of players in 6 months as it does now, and it has plenty of players to substain the game and prevent it from going f2p.

I've actually done really well with my sniper in PvP. I rolled a Vanguard first and PvP wise, I do much better with the Sniper even though everyone says Vanguard is OP in pvp.

I'd say: 1. SWTOR - I've already had more fun with this than any other star wars game which is saying A LOT. 2. Battlefront 2 - I used to play this for years, really a fun game. 3. Empire at War - Really cool strategy game that I enjoyed. 4. Revenge of the Sith - Don't know why, I just really liked this game. 5. Kotor - I had a blast playing it but I never really played it after the first time through the story.

I'm sorry but it's cannon, you can't say that Vader isn't as powerful as so and so when George Lucas specifically said he and his decendants are the most powerful force users ever. You can say Lucas is old and crazy, but it is his story, not yours or mine or anybody elses. If he says Annakin/Vader is the most powerful force user ever in HIS world of star wars, its fact, you can't argue with him.

I'm not trying to defend Bioware because I don't know all the facts but the few times I've filed customer service tickets, they were really quickly responded to and solved my problem. I talked to some other people and nobody I talked to seems to have any problems with it. So far, whatever it is people have complained about, BW has adressed. I've seen some games with really truly AWFUL customer service.

Actually, I beleive Bioware said the most played class was Sith Warrior and the runner up was Jedi Knight. The Empire contains about 60% of players and the Republic has about 40% I'd say. If I had to guess, I'd say the classes go like this from most played to least played: Sith Warrior: 28% Jedi Knight: 22% Sith Inquisitor: 20% Bounty Hunter: 12% Jedi Consular: 8% Imperial Agent: 7% Trooper: 6% Smuggler: 3% Not that I know for sure, but I bet that is pretty close.

Wow I can't beleive so many people are buying this, people are so gullable these days. If this guy is an actual goldman analyst which I doubt, hes a ****** one.

Doesn't Bioware own WAR now?

Bioware really seems to be doing a great job taking community feedback imo. I know some people have complained but it seems like everything that people complain about, Bioware adresses and/or fixes. People were upset about PvP, they announced an upgraded PvP. I've had a few bugs and reported them and they have all been fixed within a couple days. It seems like Bioware really cares about the community and their feedback which is sadly rare today. I know some people have been complaining about Bioware customer service but I don't see it. I've played games where the companies abandon games and let them die, some where they ignore cheating in games, and one that even literally encourages cheating. I'd say Bioware has done a great job community wise so far, so Thanks Bioware.

To this day I have no idea why people play WoW. I tried it, the combat wasn't great and there seemed to be a lot of grinding and boring quests. Now granted, I never played for 5 years and probably don't know what I'm talking about but after a free trial, I have no idea how it is successful.

Sure, I'd be glad to answer some questions, I've been following this game for a while and though I'm not an expert, I'd say I'm pretty experienced for a 2 week old game. 1. This game has a great questing system and a story. There is very little grinding imo, though some people say otherwise and the story really hooks you onto the game. Not only does the story make you not want to put the game down, but you start to really care about the characters you meet. I'd say this is a pretty mature community overall for an MMO and you can do decently in PvP early on. 2. I'm not exactly sure what you mean by most versatile but if you are talking about what gives you the most flexibility role wise, I'd say a Trooper/Bounty Hunter. They can do all roles fairly effectively. 3. I'm not really technical so I couldn't tell you whether or not the game works on your computer, but it is a big game. I have a gaming computer and it runs it fine but yours may not. 4. You have to be level 10 to do PvP which doesn't take too long. On my Imperial Agent, I was getting MVP as a level 11 in matches. Now the bracket is a lvl 10-50 bracket, but it autobalances some health and abilities so I would say it is more skill than gear. There is some really good level 50 gear but still a skilled low level player can do well. Honestly, this is an amazing game but the PvP is decent at best. I was a hardcore PvPer from other games coming into this game and the story is so much fun, I don't want to even PvP that much. Hope that helps.

Why is it that everyone in the Empire has a British/Irish/Scottish accent and everyone in the Republic seems to have a New York/ Canadian accent? I didn't really notice this untill recently but if these civilizations are spread across multiple planets, wouldn't it make sense for everyone of the same faction to not have the same accent?

The thing everyone here if forgetting is that Ewoks beat them not because the Stormtroopers can't aim, but because Ewoks are Bad***.

9.5/10 I'm overall very pleased with this game. It doesn't seem to be too buggy, espeically for a brand new MMO. I am really enjoying the story and the amount of content is unbeleiveable. The PvP needs a little work which prevents it from a 10/10 in my book. Maybe some of you will say I am being too generous, but the game just came out. Give it a little bit of a break just because it isn't quite as good as a 10 year old MMO in every aspect.

I'm just wondering, I haven't seen it talked about anywhere but can we transfer our characters to other servers? I'm not really attached to my server and I would rather be playing in a light/medium than my current full server. Anyone heard anything regarding server transfers?

I agree with this. I'm addicted to this game now, even though I've only been playing a few days, I can already tell I am going to be playing for a LONG time.

Now I know it was never officially said who Anakins father was but I just wanted to make some educated guesses. It seems to me that for him to be as powerful as he was with the force, that the majority of that power had to have come from his father. It just seems to me that anyone as powerful as him had to be a direct decendant of a very powerful force user. Now I have a theory that I just wanted to see whether or not people agree it is feasible. If we agree that his father was a very powerful force user, who could it be? The only one powerful enough would be the most powerful Jedi Masters and Sith Lords. Now I doubt that any of the highest, wisest Jedi masters would betray the strict rules of the Jedi Council and have children. This makes me think it had to have been a sith lord. I'm pretty sure that Plaeguis would be far too old. I also doubt it would be Palpatine, even though it theoretically seems feasible, I also think he would be too old. But what about Count Dooku? He was a very powerful sith lord, was the right age group, and also that would mean that Annakin killed his father when Palpatine told him to kill him and when He gave that choice to Luke Skywalker, he refused to let the dark side of the force take him over and refused. That to me seems like the most common answer to who is father is. What do you guys think? Does that seem possible? If not, let me know who you think it was, I'm very interested.

Just give it a little bit of time, it won't be like this after launch. They are going to drastically increase server size and the amount of servers, I just think they didn't anticipate this many players pre-ordering.
