  1. I find it funny people actually post a big long 'farewell' thread as if anyone knew who they were or cared, as if they are such the unique snowflake. Also making 'protest' threads where they stage a soapbox demonstration on the forums when BW doesn't respond to their every whim.
  2. People love to bash things on forums, it's MMO tradition. The biggest bash I remember was the 'bus shock' for WoW where they targeted one of the blizzard team in particular. Just that it is on overdrive here. Some it is for good reason, the rest is just the cut and paste swearing/threats of unsub/armchair developers.
  3. Or you can just ignore what your companions like/dislike and give them gifts later to make it all better.
  4. Why complain about Space combat when if it wasn't there at all it wouldn't impact the main game. Know why. ITS A MINIGAME!!! Don't like it, don't play it.
  5. Hoping the Legacy system doesn't benefit newly made alts only. Since by then my alts would be level 50 already.
  6. Well, as I am sure many will probably tell you soon. The actual game breaking issues are exactly that, game breaking, as in, the many many people who can't even PLAY the game, to complain about something as simple as missing alignment gear. And they are hopefully focusing on that. And I say this as another individual who is 2400/2500 neutral. I can wait.
  7. Yep, neither were Meeting Stones. You had to sit in the area with the dungeon in it and spam.
  8. I'm Australian, usually the king of lag, but apart from the average 400ms that I am used to, it doesn't deviate from that much so it's fairly smooth for me.
  9. I am level 38 and have gone neutral. Currently the only advantage is you play your character how you want other than being purely goody-two-shoes or a jerk. I mean, really, I kill people who would cause harm and that is evil, yet I won't turn a planet into a barren wasteland to kill a starfleet. The no relic thing kinda sucks, but, I am playing how I like it and having fun regardless.
  10. I sense much chaos in you... cool helmet though.
  11. RPers usually are the nicest players you can run into as long as you treat them and what they are doing with courtesy. If you aren't an RPer just tell them and they'll leave you out of spontanious RP. If you hate being around RP, even not being involved in it, then you have to learn to tolerate it, cause that what an RP server would be full of.
  12. Social interaction?! In an MMO?! This is madness!
  13. Not sure, I use Windows 7 and it runs fine. Though, don't know anyone who runs Windows on a Mac before.
  14. Graphics never play a part in any game I play. I mean WoW isn't hyper-realistic and it still proved to have its own brand of fun over the years. Sound, awesome. The music not being on constantly, only coming in at the right times, adds ambiance that I haven't experienced. This was especially shown playing on Balmorra, with the sounds of the battlefield. Gameplay. Thoroughly enjoyable, the conversations may get old for some, but as a fan of the style I love it, the group conversations are a nice addition to that enjoyment as its always fun in seeing your character get to respond, adding that little extra involvement in the game world. Story. Loving it, all I can say. I've already experienced a few twists. Suffice to say people looking for an RPG fix in Bioware style will be right at home. RPers are having a blast I hear because of it. Though, the use of shards does make the lack of players a bit daunting sometimes (people must have someone to show themselves off too, whether it be as simple as sitting on a rare mount in front of the mailbox), but I rarily noticed this myself with the environments and scattering of 'statue NPCs' I like to call them, the ones that you can't click on make the world not as empty as other MMOs, even with the lack of players being present in your immediate surroundings.
  15. This is a forum? I thought it was an mob demonstration. Some preaching that BW must let them be heard and all that, as if they can't read one of the twenty duplicate threads about the same suggestions.
  16. I don't get it either. I run into people all the time. Its only now since I've leveled faster than the majority do I get on planets with barely anyone, but as soon as I get back to the lower areas there are people talking and running all over the place. And in saying that, the world is full of NPCs, even ones just sitting round and doing things, having no express purpose other than filling the world. In WoW you had what, dirt and plants whenever there weren't players in a zone. And heck, what use are seeing players everywhere all the time when most are busy leveling right now and don't talk.
  17. Never considered the possibility that the first case didn't know how to reply to a whisper? And as to the second, yeah, that's the internet, not the MMO community specifically. I've yet to see any of that on my server however so I consider myself lucky so far.
  18. Spending time at family house away from gaming house for Xmas.
  19. Well, Progenitor is usually Full around peaktimes and is where I know a large number of guilds, including my own RP guild, decided to go.
  20. MMORPG. Many Men Online Role Playing Girls. Usually for the reason of wanting something nice to look at while they grind.
