  1. yes, the republic has pointless quests like "The politics of dissent".
  2. Damage on NONE of Bounty Hunter's missiles are instant, even if the ability is instant. The animation of the missile flying through the air and hitting the target has to complete before damage is applied. This is especially prominent with companion Blizz's missile that moves like a snail.
  3. Right click on Imperial Shipment to "defend" it from the NPCs that are already there. "This is already in use" This game is so good. Total WoW killer.
  4. 2012 will be a great lesson to lazy game developers, as the tragedy known as SWTOR will unfold. It will be used as a case study by EA's competitors. EA did their competitors a HUUUUGE favor by releasing this terrible game, to show everyone how to completely ruin good IP. This game has ruined SW IP from a game development perspective for ever. http://massively.joystiq.com/2012/01/03/research-firm-swtor-has-350-000-peak-concurrent-users/ The firm estimates that TOR has approximately 350,000 peak concurrent users spread across 215 servers (124 in America and 91 in Europe). After Jan 20, it will be 150,000 if you are lucky. Best case scenario for this game is 150k subs. BEST CASE. This is 2012, not 2002. Graphics and gaming technology has evolved so much, that a game cannot compete on good IP alone. Especially not a p2p game. Diablo 3, Guild Wars 2, SC2: Heart of the Swarm. And Bioware's own ME3. This game is utterly doomed.
  5. "Community" = I don't want scrubz getting phat lewtz Oh and what about the great community atmosphere when it comes to PvP warzones. Why is there a warzone finder but not a flashpoint finder? Rank hypocrisy. And the warzone finder is so broken. AFKing vs actually playing does not make a huge difference in the number of commendations you get. I queue for warzones and try to AFK most of the time, find me and ban me. LOL.
  6. Awesomly elitist. This example will blow your mind. I was talking to an in-game acquaintence about LFD and this is what they had to say. Them: Congrats on Level 50! Me: Thanks. What do you do now? Do you run any hardmode FPs or ops? Them: We mostly run hardmode FPs at this point. Me: Got a full group? *Basically I want to know if I am invited to do FPs with this person* Them: Yea, we hav a guild group. We dont usually pug. Besides it is better to gear up guildies than random people. Me: Yea I hate that this game doesn't have an LFD. I managed to run one hardmode FP by waiting for one hour. Them: LFD destroys community! I thought I was being trolled.... Me: Are you serious? Them: yea, other games I played with LFD nobody cared. They just came in to loot stuff and dropped group. Im still wondering if i am being trolled or this person is stupid. Me: Why do you care? You don't pug, you never read general chat. You've got your perfect guild group to farm purple gear. I don't know what they said after this point, I stopped reading. Something about community, and loot. The kicker: This person is part of an exclusive french guild. What you see above is basically what people who whine about community are all about. They have their perfect group, and they NEVER read general chat, or help out randoms. Yet they worry that other people (scrubs) might be able to cobble together a PUG and do the same content to get their PHAT LEWTZ
  7. [quote=Darren_Kitlor;1077956 want to socialize in peace. [/size] dont make **** up. socialize on skype. Why you need an MMO? MMO "social" groups are such a joke. Its only a matter of time before somebody gets jealous of the loot somebody else got and the guild implodes.
  8. I said this in September. MMO is not about levelling, its about endgame. Anybody who has played any MMO for any length of time knows this.
  9. People who talk about "community" are also the ones who filter general chat, and only talk to their guild and friends whenever they login to the game. They like playing with their small clique of friends, in a MMORPG, but have some kind of problem with the "untouchables" trying to have fun in the game by PUG or LFD tools. "community" in games is complete garbage. I wish I bought CoD instead of this crap. I can troll / put up with trolls in game, its fun, and to be expected in all games. But the kind of trolls in MMOs remind me of snide conniving highschool girls. There will never be a healthy "community" in any MMO where you grind levels, and accumulate credits/points/tokenx/gear. Its always about epeen. That is the only community.
  10. One WoW server feels like 10 TOR servers combined. Because its not some instanced garbage whith a 200 player cap per "instance".
  11. Right, which is why there are only 35 people on Voss on my server right now. Some guy was spamming chat for half an hour for some gay heroic quest. I've pretty much lost interest in PvE. I tried PvP, its just another zerg fest garbage. Not resubbing.
  12. ROFL. As if anyone cares about your itemized list of "facts"
  13. SWTOR fanbois are the trolls ingame. This game is going f2p in 6 months. Because of the trash MMO community. LFD tool makes it easier for people who don't associate with MMO trailer trash to get groups with people who are just looking to have fun and get something accomplished in the limited time they have. Fanbois lurk the general chat until someone says something to start trolling. When you make any kind of complaint, its always the SWTOR fanboi who makes the retarded comment. Q: "Hey where is the AH?" A: "This is not Azeroth" Q: "I hate how they designed ____" A: "I love it, its great :D" Or just being an elitist *****.
