  1. it is for those two reasons, you just refuse to acknowledge this, or are unable to. keep at it though it will come to you. as for Your server, it means nothing that one single server is working, cause there is a sea of others than are not failing, but have already failed. thanks for playing, i hope you keep enjoying YOUR server. #tunnelvission
  2. i posted this twice because i dont think you understand how true this is.
  3. here is what it is in my world. i unsub and am mad i stuck with it as long as i did. the developers do not care about the player, this based on my discussion with combat designers at PAX East and is completly a personal opinion and should not be taken beyond that. BW is trying to save a sinking ship which they should since its there ship and without it they are out a lot of money. the realm of MMO gaming is changed if not gone from what it once was. yes WoW did it right, and made bank off it. there were many players though who left after each expansion saying that its just not the same. we have reached a point in gaming that everyone is a gamer. its not just us pencil paper d&d nerds or old nes atari players gaming now and because of this the developers must try to appeal to more interests. this spreads games thin in a design stand point and is making it hard to hold the attraction for any specific group. the biggest issue of this I feel is the hardcore and the casual player demands. when WoW released it took a long time for world firsts, but now its world first the same day as release. this puts pressure on the developer because they just worked hard to put out content and already a group has sacrificed real life to beat it. mean while the casual player is upset that the end game is to hard because they do not get to invest the time the hardcore players do but wants to experience the entire game and not just instances and what not. we as a community are to demanding of the developers and the games we play to truly be satisfied. star wars has had substantial drops in subs if everyone who says they have dropped did, but its not dead to those who still play. there is still a chance to turn the game around, but personally i do not want to wait for it to happen. its more of a financial issue for me, i like to play mmos but currently with my server status, i have real life that needs funded so to suspend the sub works out for me.
  4. can i trade my free month for a better game? oh wait i did. to all clinging to your sinking ship i wish you the best of luck and truly hope the improves to the level we expected at preorder.
  5. i read forums alot, its kind of a hobby for me and i have noticed that alot of players have suspended there accounts do to the changes in 1.2. i canceled my account because of interaction with employees at pax but i wont go into that here. i want to know what will happen to dead servers that will die more when 1.2 goes live. CHo Mai is such a low pop server that you cannot pvp in off peak hours and fleet population and planet populations are below 20 people fleet and 5 planet side. during peak hours you know the outcome of the match when you see the 5 grav round spammers and 3 sages, and the population of the fleet is near 75. with no end game content off the fleet you should see more that 100 players base on fleet. if i do not have 3 other people on in guild i cannot get a group to run hard modes. i have leveled three alts to 35 40 49. i have not seen an apposing faction on any of them. alot of my guild have quit becaue guild wars 2 beta starts this weekend for pre purchase and have no intention to play SWTOR after that goes live. what is the point of me to come back to the game if i have no population to return to. i havent decided to leave for good, but the ball is in biowares court to get me back.
  6. by removing the kill count for illum you really take away the only pure area where pvp was expected. i agree with the earlier statement where the leveling worlds are so divided that you never see the other faction. i hit 50 with one, and 40 with another before i saw 10 republics combined for characters, and i've been playing since prerelease. if i wanted to care about the valor farm interfearing with my playing i would have rolled on a pve server. i feel that there is no real reason for me to keep playing aside from seeing the other story lines i havent played through yet. as a game though who cares. the pvp is very sad and unfulfilled, the questing is almost entirely solo with the companions, and crafting although tedious in other games, is lack luster seeing as the stuff made is rather useless. but boy do i get my money's worth from the music and scenery... you dropped the ball bioware, dropedit hard. now are you gongi to fix it or roll over and die like the rest of the mmo's have since wow. (i really hate using wow as my point but there hasnt been anything to survive since)
  7. thank you, keep psting all, lets try and get this looked at. normally im at 23 ms but these spikes take me to 3000 then right back to 23
  8. i play daily, and at different times on three servers. i cannot escape this lag problem. i get lag spikes all day everyday at a rate of 3 a minute and they can last from a few seconds to 15 seconds. it is seriously hurting my pvp attempts, and questing with friends. not just me, but four other people i know have the same problem. we all have tried different servers and different settnigs both in game and out of game. is anyone else having this issue?
  9. i have tried out a few servers now, and have had days where i hit a lag spike of about 3k ms. it lasts 3 seconds then back to 26ms. today i spent a lot of time farming mats for tskilling while in pvp battlegrounds. i was unable to effectively participate do to the lag. when i would be near combat it would end as i try to hit an atk. i have talked with many other players who have this same issue. i knowit is not my isp nor my computer because i have not had a game yet lag and do to the high number of players who are haing the same issue as i am i feel that server issues are the problem. i have had 1 day during the early access time where i was lag free and in the beta i did not notice any lag issues aside from the world affected lag. this seems to be a different issue though. if you are like me and are having these issues post here and lets see if we can get a response. community feedback helps provide a better player experience and we all love star wars. would be a shame to see it die Urza, Cho Mia server
  10. diversity is good, and should be respected. i also see the problem when dealnig with a situation where you rely on these other people. the language barrier is what ruins the event in the game. lack of communication hurts party make-up. this game is released in 3 major languages. you should know at least one of these if you plan on functioning decently in it. when i played wow, if you joined a group or raid and didnt speak english you were kicked. i understand there are people who will buy the game and not speak the language and that is rough for them but thats not our problem, nor is wanting a solid speaknig server oppressing there rights. we paid for a game to enjoy it. not sit on google translator for 10 min just to find out this guy has to take a crap and hes afk. as for you real world question, yes i do demand it. if i went to another country i'd do whatever i could to speak there language they better do the same here or leave. i believe the leathal weapon 4 said it best when they said the statue of liberty now has a sign reading no vacancy
  11. i have healed in every game since everquest. i do not understand what is so hard for people to click heals. i have raid healed as a druid and knew when hots were needed and on who without healbot. the fact that you need a mouse over instead of clicking means you dont want to heal, you want to look around while the fight is going on. if you are not dedicated enough to play the class then dont heal. you are only hurting those who depend on you.
