I've been hearing somethings about higher end cards having issues. Since I don't have one I can't confirm these things. I have the same processor as you, but I use 2 Nvidia GTO 9600's in SLI mode. I think the main problem is with our processors, since they are on the lower side of the speed range. I dont think the game really takes advantage of multicore processing. I did a defrag on my hard drive to see if it would help just to see if it helped. It did.

There were more then a few times I wanted to defect during the SW class quests.

I remember when I played EQ I had to wait for a boat in Freeport to get to stupid elf land because some stupid elf druid wanted 20 plat to teleport me there. And when I would break down and pay the stupid elf druid I had to wait for more people to come along! Don't even get me started on the stupid elf wizards. Stupid elves....

Player housing and cities were the best and worst things in SWG. The potential of what could be done with cities would never be realized due too the lack of tools for city management. Plus Player housing was all over the damn place messing up mission way points. Most of the cities were dead cities and people didn't want to hang out in the middle of no where 15 km from the nears't cantina or starport, where all the social interaction happen with the afk dancers (lol). I always thought that player housing should have been stack-able like legos to save space and have a central interaction area at the center of the city. There were just so many empty buildings that never got used like the medcenter that it seemed like a waste of time and space. Add all the stuff in the buildings it was such a resource hog on the servers and client side. SWG tried to be everything to everyone and it ended being good at none of them. It was a game where you had alot of freedom but what the hell were you going to do with that freedom? NOW, if SWTOR ever has a Sandbox planet, which I highly doubt, it's going to be more structured. The item database is going to be tuned down with preset places you can place a few pieces of furniture and trophies.

Buying companion gifts was my downfall.

Don't forget the empty player cities and buildings that choke up the land scape.

What problems? I have not done any pvp yet.

Companions are pretty much extensions of our characters, so I can see the logic behind the argument. But this is really something you need to have settled at the start of the group. I made the mistake of rolling need on a blaster because I wanted the crystal out of it. The PT starts chewing me out, and I start to feel bad till I take a look at his gear. He already had a blaster that was better then the one I looted. I informed him of this and he shut up. He was a crap tank anyway. I ain't going too cry if I don't get that orange lightsaber in a PUG.

I remember the droids at the starports that spammed ads in SWG. And the people that afk spammed.

I just read Amazon reviews of people that bought the games. Sites like Gamespot and Metacritic have way too many fanbois that post so many BS reviews, that it's hard to get a review with any substance. I have no patience for any of that juvenile circle jerking.

I'm more pissed that the guy behind the Gamestop counter was right for once. He was always wrong about preordering before, why the hell should I have believed him this time!? I bet that snot nose little genetic anomaly is laughing it up. Laughing at me!
