  1. Its to do with the antiquated Alpha build of the Hero Engine that is the base for this game. It does not perform well on any HW and is DX9/x86 application.
  2. BW/EA realised that players were not playing their flagship FP, Umbara or Iocath fiasco, but instead were playing old content and enjoying the CXP grind for the 1st time since 5.0, and decided to nerf the all CXP to death come 5.5. More nerfs to come, classes are now only a shadow of the 4.0 power vs PvE. PvP is more enjoyable to AFK in ranked than actually participating into the WZs. The promised 100% CXP boost for 4 characters @300, was changed to needing all 4 classes @300 (JK/SW, JC/SI,SM/IA and TR/BH) as mirror classes do not count. Nice going BW/EA you've made many players very unhappy. Hope it was worth it.
  3. You are almost right in the post topic. BW/EA does not care about players at all!
  4. No, the game still runs on the same bastardized Alpha Hero engine. The engine does not support anything past DX9 and is hopelessly unoptimisable to take advantage of new GFX/CPU features and will still be x86 application. The new f;ashpoint train section shows how poorly the engine performs. Nvidia GFX 1080, is performing between 10 and 25 fps during the train section @1440p.
  5. At most 30 min for WZ pop? I play on TRE and if it takes more than 10 min, you are playing at wrong time(level 70), normally WZ pops are almost instant. Under 70 PvP is pointless as you do not get components and CQ xp (in my opinion). Before 5.x low level and mid level PvP ques were quite frequent, 5.0 killed that.
  6. Bigger picture? The balance team consists of one guy, what bigger picture could he have, with no resources for coding, nor any money for a budget
  7. This is exactly what I did for my 5 strongholds. Entrance is vendor/banks/GTN. Rest of the rooms are filled with cheap decorations to get to 100%. Conquest bonus is 125% for the 5 filled SHs. I have not bothered to get the 6th. Manaan is depressive and the train SH does not entice me the least.
  8. Testing be damned, YOLO is the new direction at BW, whatever code compiles is the new version.
  9. How could this happen, you clearly do not do ANY testing prior throwing the patch to live?
  10. Haha, testing, very funny, just admit that you don't test anything patch related ever. How else could you mess the game so badly every patch?
  11. Fun detected > nerf cannon loaded > massive NERF to all > also orbital NERF carpet bomming ordered
  12. Both those OPS are dead easy to do as Strory Mode which will complete the story arc. Just wait until you see those advertised on fleet and join the fun. Both Operations have nice mechanics, I've pugged both OPS multiple times without issues. If you want to prepare for the OPS, just watch the SM runs on YouTube.
  13. Unfortunately RNG is here to stay, I am surprised that upon logging to you character you are not logging to someone else's character on a random server, RNG is EXITING.
  14. Why would they advertise any positive events publicly? It is clear that their goal is to kill the game, based on the recent nerfs and doubling down on the RNG gearing (thanks Ben you are useles).
  15. Also since there is absolutely no reward for participating in Open World PVP. What could possibly incentivize players partaking in an activity. that does not reward you at all?
  16. Actually what the Sith code means is: The idea, though not the wording, has been attributed to the History of the Peloponnesian War by the ancient Greek historian Thucydides, who stated that: "right, as the world goes, is only in question between equals in power, while the strong do what they can and the weak suffer what they must." Montague coined the term Kratocracy, from the Greek κρατερός krateros, meaning "strong", for government by those who are strong enough to seize power through force or cunning.
  17. They can't, the hero engine, in testing has not been able to reliably return the characters back to their original server. Which kinda sucks, unless you want to randomly change the server after each cross-server queue pop.
  18. No, you need to have the RNG mission from the Command interface to get the CQ reward. You can manually go to the planet, complete the H2s and hope that you get that planet mission before daily reset to auto complete the reward. Of course if you are Republic player you get the Nar Shaddaa to auto complete whether you have ever stepped on the planet. This bug has been in the game since 5.1.
  19. Only Uprisings my guild do are the MM with premade group to get the weekly. The SM and Vet are not worth the effort to do. Pugging them is pointless, you are bound to get a group pop which is not able to complete it. After 5.2 I've only played about 1 day a week. Rest of my time I am spending in ESO. 5.0 with RNG gearing killed the game. So now you can buy full set of 230 gear with CXP currency, which means that the alt has to grind 80 levels of disintegration game, before they can have a chance to get an upgraded piece. And when you reach 300 you get to open 100s of crap boxes ad nauseum, with about 1% chance of getting an upgrade, 99% is just disintegration garbage. My Sniper has opened about 300 boxes after reaching rank 300 and not gotten a single upgrade item. Isn't RNG exciting
  20. And the winner for the best trolling goes to ................................................ Ben Irving!!!
  21. BW is all about punishment and no reward. Anything that is fun .. nerf to death. I wish that they just got the courage to kill the game properly, rather than killing it with thousands of little cuts.
  22. But, but, did you not realize that the RNG makes the SWTOR fun again. You open 50 boxes and got to disintegrate all of them, only to get to open more boxes of disinegratable stuff. Oh, the joy!!
  23. If you want to spank the monkey use pornhub, this is Star Wars not **** Wars.
