  1. I have the same issue on both DM and SS servers. The normal ping to DM for me is 20ms, SS 60. Today the ping to DM is between 120 and infinite, SS 120 to infinite. Defo issue at Biofail end.

The fall from grace (200 > 17 > 5) is not due to conquest it is a compound from all of the inept decisions made by BW/EA from 2011 to 2018. 1st drop of players was due to lack of end game content. F2P brought some players back 2nd big drop was to drip release KOTFE/KOTET over 2 years, which required grind of old content to unlock 20+ new companions which are lifeless versions of the original companions. 3rd massive drop was the 5.0 aka RNG® is exciting Command Rank grind This is where we are now @ 5 servers world wide from 200 @ launch. At no point has the development/game design team accepted any culpability of their poor design choices, and their hubris seems to force them to double down on EVERY major bad design choices. There were other evacuations, i.e. PvP server death spiral because of redesign of all servers having PvE and PvP instances, promoting players to leave the PvP servers in droves leaving them as ghost towns.   3. I only started doing group activities because of conquest, before conquests I was only a solo player, doing the class stories. Since most of the conquest targets are now legacy locked to one per day, and my alts can't contribute to conquest at all after the legacy lock kicks in. I stopped playing alts, and when I saw how miniscule the rewards were from the few repeatable activities I stopped playing completely. My sub ran out on 30th Mar, I did not renew it (don't know how I am still able to post without active subscription). Because of these legacy locks I cannot contribute to both Imp and Rep guilds, I have no idea how BioFail imagined these changes would be perceived as positive. I work for a living and play games to relax, not to have another full time job in order to complete conquest target points. I can only see one goal BioFail is trying to achieve with doing orbital strike to conquest system, than to de-incentivise people from playing the game so that they can shut the servers down sooner. However this seems to be the normal behaviour from BW, orbital strike first, then slow walk changes back in 6 to 12 months. All the best for those that can after the absolute destruction of the conquest system.
  4. It appears that their plan is to slow walk the changes back to 50% of pre 5.8 system during 2018, as they have no developers left to do the changes or create new content. Smilar what they did with the previous dumbster fire aka 5.0. All the best for people that have plans to stick with BioFail during the latest kerfuffle.
  5. Erm, no it is not, the base game is PvE: - class stories - OPS - FPs PvP was always the red-headed step child that caused the class nerfs under the guise of balancing.
  6. I have made a bug report regarding the Makeb Staged Weekly multiple times, this just shows that all the bug reports kist go directly to shredder, nobody reads them at BW.

No, there is 3 tier conquest target: If you are invading a planet, target is x amount of guild conquest points, if the guild meets that target, all members that have achieved their personal goal will receive guild rewards as well. Only the 1st place on each planetary tier awards the conqueror title faor daid planet.
  9. So basically what you are saying: Pick one character and one faction to participate in conquest. If we have characters in Imp and Rep guilds, tough luck, take it or leave the game. Thanks a lot, why did you have the Light vs Dark, create gazillion alts and grind old content event? Why do we even have legacy and alts? If we can't participate conquest for benefit the guild with alts, we might as well delete them.

  11. No, the GF OPS do not pop, the PUG OPS runs are pre-built on the fleet and then queued through GF, but other than that the answer is no. I have played the game since the GF was put into the game, and I have not had any pops in it ever. As a DPS toon, getting MM FP is hard enough to get a pop, some times you get a pop in 10 min and other times you do not a get a single pop in 4 hours. It is slightly better after the server merge, before that you might have gotten 1 pop in a week (EU side). Usual way to run the MM FP is to build the group in guild chat and then queue. This varies depending on what time of the day you are queuing, if you tend to play outside of peak time then getting a pop is harder. US side it is easier to get a pop off peak time than EU. On EU server my ping is 20ms and US east coast 80ms, it does not adversely effect PVE too much.
  12. You are forgetting that Xeno is once per legacy per week, once you have done that with once toon, no one else from the same legacy will get conquest points from it during the Gree event.
  13. The reason this was not mentiopned is that no one at BioFail had any idea what tne patch contained, some clueless intern wrote the changes by instructions: change Conquest somehow. Add to this; no testng done by anyone. Result: Chaos, bugs and mayhem.
  14. So what you are saying is that the full Conquest revamp will be completed by end of December 2018, same as the Command fiasco of 5.0
  15. Why would I care? Oh yeah, this is the last conquest reward I am ever going to get, thanks to the Conquest wrecking patch 5.8.
  16. Just my opinion, Force Vetran armor set is not legacy bound and looks like a pile of garbage. I just stuck it into bank, I am not planning to use it ever, and won't miss it if it disappears. I did get the armor set and speeder on few characters again. The speeder does not have dismount protection, ergo useless. But if you liked it losing it sucks.
  17. The Command kerfuffle was on the PTS, BioFail ignored all reports/comments on the issues, patch went live regardles. It took BioFail 11 months to get to the current state of the Command system. Bug reports seem go to the trash bin directly withouit anyone even reading them. The state of the Conquest revamp update clearly shows that it was not tested at all. BioFaill do not seem to have any resources left to implement, test or design any kind of rehaul of the game. The game is now more broken than it was before the 5.8 fiasco.

  19. Yes there was, and as a result SWTOR player base shrinked so badly that they consolidated dozen servers to 3 (2 US + one EU) English, I do not know the state of the German or French servers, I don't play on those.
  20. For me the change for the SH bonus was a detriment on US server (124% > 121%), made no difference on EU server already had 150% bonus as I have 5 SHs fully decorated and unlocked. Change to PVP was detrimental, only one win per day counts, no daily bonus, no weekly CQ points = no need to PVP at all. Grinding BOI all day is not a pleaaant way to get CQ points.   21. They did not reverse the 5.0 fiasco, they spent a year tweaking the system, and lost ~50% of the player base. I would presume that the same will happen with 5.8 fiasco, BioFai is incapable of admitting failure, and will just double down on their hubris.

  23. Based on the comments so far in the thread, BioFail strikes again. Since getting points is now harder, PVP is win Only, OPS is one per day/legacy, daily FP worthless. Why bother with conquest at all... Way to go BioFail, another great success on fubarring content patch.
