  1. Correct me if I'm wrong (since I don't really play highlevel content all that much), but don't you get 'the most needed material for mods and armorings' via, well, gathering missions and gathering? I might be missing something there, of course. But if thats the case - neither gathering nor gathering missions are in fact PvE content. They are a timesink, nothing more, nothing less.
  2. Direct Jade Empire stuff wouldn't work so well, I feel. Completely different setting than star wars... However, since Satele Shan already wears stuff that's clearly inspired by chinese fashion I'd say that more oriental looking outfits would work. Yes please.
  3. Again, I'm pretty sure that the current way works fine. Yes, there are spammers visible on the fleet and the starting planets, but that is something you will never be able to fix. If you report and ignore them they will be dealt with. Gold(yes, gold)sellers will always be a problem in MMOs, even moreso in f2p MMOs. It is something that you can't get rid off. They will always be there and you will always stumble over one or two. The only thing I'd personally like to see is an accountwide ignore, like WoW does it. If you report someone for spamming there the whole account is placed on an ignore list for a certain amount of time (half an hour, maybe longer, I'm not sure). That ignore list is seperate from your normal ignore list, so that won't fill up too quickly. It would also condense the "report spam, click 'ok', ignore" steps into one step and therefore make it less of a hassle to deal with the spammers. Hell, the disappearance of the "ok" button you need to press alone would make things a hell of a lot quicker.
  4. Of course not. Hence why you managed to make two threads that go just like that in one day.
  5. Uh-huh. And you wonder why people react in a hostile fashion whenever you post. You're cute, I like you
  6. Easier ways to generate money equal more money in peoples pockets. More money in peoples pockets equals more money being spent on the GTN. More money being spent on the GTN equals prices going up. Prices going up equals money being worth less and less. Money being worth less and less equals easier ways to generate money becoming a frustrating grind.
  7. I'm taking bets on how long it'll take until he starts deleting his comments again.
  8. Impossible. Without class story you get no ship, without ship you kinda have to stop leveling after Coruscant/Dromund Kaas. Which is a shame, really. Not doing the class story would've been a great way to not have companions pop up all the time.
  9. I can't. My PC actually just died this evening Let me tell you of the strange and foreign concept of the 'proxy'. /edit: Also, I've been told that IPs rotate and aren't person specific. I quote: 04:29 - Name censored: IPs rotate, meaning Bob can have the IP 1.5.123.123 and John 1.5.456.456 Bob spams a game and gets IP banned. Bob unleases his IP so it becomes available again. John starts his PC the next day and grabs the IP 1.5.123.123 and is suddenly IP banned from his favouite game. 04:30 - Name censored: Great idea mate, IP banning 04:30 - Name censored: IPs are not person specific 04:30 - Name censored: People will use the IP you had yesterday
  10. Yeeeeaaah. Or maybe they could use magic to make them all disappear. That would be about as reasonable as this demand. Ignoring them is a viable option. They get removed from your ignore list once the account is deleted.
  11. And what, pray tell, should be done against them? The current system works fine. Report them, ignore them and they will be dealt with in a rather short amount of time. Everything else would be either terribly ineffective or disturb legitimate players.
  12. At this point in time I have 13 characters on the Progenitor alone
  13. People like different things. Always has been this way, always will be. I personally enjoy the leveling process in MMOs. Like, once a character of mine hits the highest level I quickly lose interest in them in terms of gameplay and start a new character... and only ever use the highlevel chars for occasional dungeons and Roleplay.
  14. There's a reason why I said "Operations and Hardcore PvP". Both require a certain amount of commitment. SWTOR isn't my first MMO, I'm playing those for eight years now. More than enough time for me to figure out that I personally don't enjoy raiding or hardcore PvP. I DO enjoy PvP every once in a while, same with occasional raids, if those are possible. But overall I personally play SWTOR for other reasons than those. That doesn't mean that they are bad and that developers should ignore these parts of the game, by the way. But it's more than alright to just not play certain parts of the game.
  15. Completion is overrated. If I don't like a certain kind of content, I'm not playing it. Doesn't matter if I miss out on parts of the game or not. In my case that would be both operations AND hardcore PvP *shrugs*
  16. Hahaha. Hahahahahahaha. Bwahahahahahahahaha! *wipes away tear*
  17. There's a teleporter on your Guild Ship. Try that.
  18. Eh, might be because I mostly play lowlevel flashpoints, with all the fresh blood and such. It's rarely me who initiates the votekick too, since I usually don't exactly run a flashpoint to get gear. But when I run a flashpoint the chance that there will be a votekick in it is pretty high.
  19. Especially considering that it can easily happen that the group finder decides to reassign the existing healer to a DD spot, so you can heal instead. Been there, done that. With the large amount of ninjalooters in this game I see people getting kicked almost every flashpoint I run. Just now I ran athiss and the Sentinel decided to steal the Sages lightsaber, which resulted in a votekick *shrug*
  20. It's an outrage. An outrage I tell you. I'm so mad right now, I even shook my fist at the monitor. So mad.

  22. Chances are there was no 'next group'. You queued at 3:30am...
  23. How terrible. This will change a total of nothing to me. My world is crumbling with this devestating news.
