  1. Aside from the size issue, the tooltip also talks about a bipedal walker. The one in the preview is quadrupedal.
  2. It was broken the way it was before. Now they fixed it. /edit: http://www.swtor.com/patchnotes/4292014/2.7.1-patch-notes
  3. That walker is also a placeholder. The real model isn't in the game yet.
  4. I seriously hope so. I want a bantha really badly, which I probably mentioned a dozen times on this forum already. But... I'm also notoriously poor (sitting at around 3 million creds right now, on all my characters combined). So a Bantha for under 1 million would be a dream come true ;X
  5. Bowdaar doesn't need customization. Goggles-Bowdaar is in the game already. Goggles-Bowdaar is best Bowdaar. /thread
  6. Like it happened with the other expensive mounts that still cost around 5 million credits? Speaking of nosedive, the Progenitor had a Bantha for 5,5 million creds in the GTN today, I fully expect them to go down further.
  7. Firstly: One Cathar, many Cathar. Secondly: That guy is 'conventionally attractive'? Seriously? oô I mean, I won't call him ugly, but... conventionally attractive? I'd wager that people with fur all over their body are rarely what could be considered 'conventionally attractive'
  8. We already talked about that, didn't we? :/
  9. Maybe you should mention which server you are on too
  10. I think the problem with that is more that not all robes who have a hooded version have a non-hooded one and vice versa. The hood toggle people ask for is more an option like disabling your head slot, so they won't have to use two different chest slots, like you did in your video. Yes, it's certainly possible and I'm pretty sure that many roleplayers already utilize something like that (probably without hotkeys, but the same concept still applies)... but it's not really what the people want when they ask for hood toggle.
  11. Never understood that mindset. Acknowledging (what you perceive as) a games flaws and speaking out on them doesn't mean that one dislikes the game, it just means that one wants the game to improve. If nobody speaks out on it, how else is it going to change?* * Rethorical question, not directed at you.
  12. Some people get their enjoyment in an MMO out of the endgame content. Other people get it from the leveling process. Criticising a game you enjoy is a good thing, if done properly. Please stop trying to turn critique into something bad.
  13. I don't really like the look of the basic sabers, I have to say. They are a bit too... clunky in my honest opinion. And yeah, if there's one thing Clone Wars did oh so very right it was lightsaber sounds. The audio in general is quite impressive for a TV show. Also, Mauls voice actor on that show is great ;X
  14. I honestly think it sounds a lot better ingame than it does in the video there. It's a deep humming sound. Still, shame that they didn't put sounds like into the game. I just love the sound of these double sabers.
  15. He's talking about a certain kind of hair. You're welcome, have fun with the mental imagery.
  16. I got this one by chance and love it ^-^ Especially the sound it makes when you activate it (which is badly represented in the video). Haven't been using any other saber since.
  17. I... I'll just leave this chatlog here. Flashpoint in question was Hammer Station. I hate my life right now. 18:28 - Wylf: we had a tank who switched out of tank stance, a DD who decided that him charging into enemy groups was a good idea and absolutely no CC. 18:28 - Wylf: A group without CC in that flashpoint is already pretty ****ed 18:28 - Wylf: but that... nah. 18:31 - Wylf: The most amazing thing was... the first boss, right? It's a giant droid that does very little damage most of the time. He has two abilities. One laser that he fires at the guy that has the most threat, the laser stacks debuffs on you that increase its damage more and more, so you need to focus heal the tank when it happens (or cleanse the debuffs, but at my level cleansing doesn't work because no skill for it). And secondly he summons a swarm of droids that fly around without doing much until they place themselves on the ground and explode after a few seconds. Very easy to avoid. 18:33 - Wylf: So the chargehappy DD tells me that he wants to offtank the swarms. And I'm like "dude, focus damage on the boss, the longer that guy has time to burn holes into the tank the harder it gets for me to heal". So he does that, because sometimes he's a good little ***** that listens. 18:34 - Wylf: but no, we still have hypertank in our group. So hypertank decides that it's been way too easy so far with what, only one and a half wipes in the first five minutes of the dungeon. So hypertank switches off his tank stance, because who needs avoidance and hightened threat generation, amirite? 18:36 - Wylf: Which in turn caused the level 15 DD(!) to gain more threat than the level 16 tank and the level 21(!!!) chargehappy DD, right when the droid cried "IMA FIRIN MA LAZOR" and did just that. Which equals one dead DD, ergo only one player who actually knows what he's doing left. So I try to silence my inner screaming and focus on switching back and forth between chargehappy and hypertank, while my ammo is drastically running out 18:37 - Wylf: Hypertank eventually dies, because duh, that's what happens if you have aggro while not being in your tank stance. Luckily at this point we're almost done with the boss and the other DD returned from the dead and helped finishing it off. 18:37 - Wylf: and then, I kid you not... and then chargehappy DARES to tell me "should've fought the swarms"
  18. Pew pew pew pew. PEWPEWPEWPEWPEWPEWPEWPEWPEWPEW! With each watergun blaster my heart breaks a little :< I mean, how can you turn into that? Sure, there were 'weak' sounding blasters in that video as well, but... most of them sounded pretty powerful.
  19. Thing is, do you know that the event will return next year? Because that text quoted above doesn't mention that. :X
  20. That... is still limited. An event that would run for a year before being shut down would be limited as well. "limited" doesn't say much about the time the event is going to be up, just that it will be gone once that time is up.
