Kaylio would do a double shot of Prodigy, Firestarter and Smack My B up

For my nutty BH I would have a crew of Blizz, Gault, Vette and Guss who all would get along great, making credits scamming people and overall defying authority. and just for someone to pick on and for the crap he pulled with my fem warrior, Quinn. That would be total chaos and purgatory for him. For my light side Sith Warrior she would love to keep LS Jaessa, Ashara, Kira , Torian and Akavai. Slightly dark force wielders and mandos would be a take no crap crew but would be totally in the grey My Sith INQ would keep her Khem, add DS Jaessa, Kaylio Skadge and have Scorpio. More chaos then even the dread masters there! My Smugglers crew would be Corso, Mako, T7, Bowdarr and Aric, Just seems to work well with her

Oh this fun lovely thread is still going..... Really for anyone NOT in a warzone its really easy even on fleet to avoid. The oh no I am going to be infected is such a lie. You have to literally be right on top of another who is infected right when they explode. There is credit sinks/taxes all throughout the game and to have to pay 2k for 6 hours of immunity is minor compared to other credit sinks in the game. My repair bill after dying once on my 35 alt is more then that. Please get off your high horse about it. Its minor and TEMPORARILY part of the game. The ONLY thing i could see as fair is make a under 20 stim that is like 20 credits or something. Also those that say Bioware is giving tools to grief is far from the truth. The only people that are getting infected are those that WANT to. They are all huddled together like a bunch of hobo's around a campfire in Mid December in Fargo North Dakota. I spent all morning on my baby alt, ran BT and shopped around fleet for about 2-3 hours and guess what I didn't get infected. And last on warzones, its just another mechanic that you have to factor in. It influences everyone and its an equal playing field. If the warzone was set on Taris and this effect was a constant no one would complain. (( now no stealing My idea's! Bioware!)) You just have another thing you have to factor in. And please do not hide behind the excuse of its random. Playing against PC's is totally random you have not a clue what they will do. Its not game breaking and it adds a new challenge to already tried and true events. Live a little, have some fun and if you cant dont let the door hit you on the way out. Stuff like this does alot more for keeping/gaining new subs then loosing them. It makes the community do things, explore, talk and have fun.

As I posted before what I take away from the quote is that there is going to be an act added between now and the next expansion. Or at worst the next expansion is this year. I don't see them adding a ton of new companions when they do just one at most per class. What my gut feeling is that they will add something big story wise in 1.4 or 1.5. I do not see it happening in 1.3 I think that is when we will see the new round of new companions. BUUUUTTTT I think that bioware is going to kinda blend it to be natural. Not every companion we gain will be GLB as that will make it really feel forced. I think that some of our companions are going to get either made gay romance able or bi. What makes it hard for Bioware is that anything female as of now is romance able for men minus the fembot. Now I do not think that anyone that is OGRA is going to be made exclusive other way only possibly bi. I would NEVER want to see a character that is straight now made exclusive for SGRA. I am going to break it down in a bit more detail Sith Warrior I posted that Lt.Pierce makes sense to make a M/M romance option. He is not a romance option as of now. SW as of F/F is a lil murky as DS Jaessa makes a point in the romance lines she would be open to that kind of relationship (( I am not going to put spoilers in )) But that limits only DS Sith females to having a relationship so another either added or make Vette bi. SI as of males they have one in Tallos that would really work for M/M. would make total sense to me SI for F/F Ashara is sooo confusing to me in the first place. Albeit i have only talked to her from a DS sith point of view and all my sith wants to do is learn to force choke her. I do not think it would feel out of place for her to be bi but i am torn here 50 50 on her or a new companion. BH is once again could be sooo much fun if Gault is an option for M/M I would roll a male just to have a chance to flirt with him he is one of my favorites in the game. But reality says this is one that Torian is either turned bi or new companion. Same with Mako I really do not know how they will do this one but this is going to be one class I feel that they will have to add at least one G/L companion and one of the 2 will be made bi. Agent vector makes sense to be ok with being bi but with the other 2 options for the F/F it leaves room for the new Agent companion to be male and a SGRA option. Now the 2 girls everyone assumes Kaylio is bi as is and the other wouldn't surprise me either. Now i am not forgetting you republic ones either ^^ JW I feel is gonna be pretty much a new male companion for SGRA. Doc to me is just as straight as they come and I just cannot see it and would be really cheap to the character even though he is a bit creepy lol. I think that would leave Kira for a bi option and it would make sense wouldn't be a stretch. JC is a bit of an enigma. Now there is something that they could do but would really be maybe a bit to close to home for some but the Tharan would be good as a trying to cover up his true feelings with the whole holiday bit. But I think that Zenith would make so much sense and would be a good story. Nadia she I really am not sure on. I am 50 50 as of them making her bi or a new female companion. Smuggler, Corso Corso Corso our favorite gentleman farm boy. This is one that could go either way. I adore him I think he is cute but I am just not sure if a bi relationship works. I think its a 50 50 on that one and a new companion being the M/M option. And like the agent I can see either or both of the smuggler girls getting to be bi. I lean more towards Risha but both make sense. Trooper I feel Aric stays straight I am not sure why just feels that way to me. I think a male romance option would have to be added. Dorne make much more sense to be bi then Aric and I would think it would be that way if only one is added. This is a total shot in the dark and I may be totally wrong but Just kinda how i feel on the subject. And this isnt to generalize but I think alot of the F/F options would be made bi because of all the relationships would be more then the M/M. I could see every female that is added is made bi and all that exist now are made bi.

Now this is total speculation but I kinda think this is how its going to work out at least IMP side. (( where i play )) I think for a SW Vette stays straight but DS Jaessa goes bi. I can honestly see Pierce being the Gay option for males. I think for INQ as of Female Ashara may go bi but that may be one of the new companion possibilities. Like the SW I could totally see Tallos being the gay male option. I think for BH its much of the same for them possibly Mako or New companion. Same with Torian but if they do make Gault a Gay Male option I am totally rolling a guy to explore that !!! Agent Kaylio makes sense to do such as Jaessa. Makes sense she is bi and leaves out the other. Now with Vector I can see more of a chance of him being a romance option then Torian but still another possible new companion. Now this is total speculation I can totally be wrong but in my lil warped mind it makes sense. After all this is a discussion thread.

Okies for starters you have no idea as nor do i if they are or are not currently working on them. For all we know they may be part of 1.2 or they may not happen till after the next expansion. Until someone releases info we don't know, don't pretend you do know. The only agenda alot of against a toggle do have is to be treated the same. Status quo is there is no filter, no toggle as of now. Why does there need to be a filter once SGRA's are introduced? We are not the one with a social agenda, we just want to be treated the same and to enjoy the game like you do.

Oh heavens knows I would like to see that but I just have to point out one lil area of the forums at what headaches it would cause. Go to the Sith warrior forums and look up Jaessa romance and why only the dark side of her is romancable. If one of the characters is really really fun and limited while another preference is a perceived stick in the mud the rage on that posting will make this look like a match in a rainstorm compared to the firestorm that would be. And what would be worse if there was lets say a lesbian character that is totally fun and interesting. That makes the straight option look dull that is going to direct anger in a bad way at that. We don't need more of that.

I don't have any issue with it because you are treating OGRA=SGRA and not making a distinction between the 2 of them. Is it needed? no but I wouldn't be offended by it. What people like me just want is to be treated the same and not have our lifestyles singled out and the need for a toggle because its different. I am all for making adjustments like moving all flirts off the right side of the wheel and placing it on the left so that everyone that doesn't want to choose a flirt option can have access to all three of the others. I have posted this before I want as many on wheel options to be in game as possible the more the better. I want things to be treated the same that is all. I want you to have on your wheel when talking to someone of the same gender to have every option that you have now. I am not going to say what your outlook is on GLBT issues I do not know but what people are asking is that when this is implemented is that we are just treated the same way as hetro people are now. If it makes you uncomfortable I am sorry, If it breaks immersion I am sorry. All alot of us are asking for is to be treated the same and we are not trying to shove it in your faces. I am lucky I can enjoy this game by playing the gender I want and get access to at least half of the people I want to but I know there is others that have their characters sitting in cantinas stuck because all they want to do is experience the game with the gender they picked and the companions they find fun.

No I am asking to be treated the same, you are not that is the difference. You are asking for something to be treated differently and If you cant see it I am sorry. Adding more ways to filter content because it contains a minority lifestyle is crude and offensive. I am not being a bigot I am just asking for the same treatment.

Yes there is a bias here. Let me explain. You want your character to be compassionate. You choose mercy options. You character is honorable. You chose options that make your character a hero in others eyes. You want your character to be narcissist. You choose deceptive and selfish Your character is Homicidal. You choose to kill everything you come accross. Your character is sadistic. Leaves Vette's shock collar on/abuse companion characters. Your character is straight. You flirt with people of the opposite gender. Your character is gay. You flirt with people of the same gender. Now i can go on and on and on of how we can form and make our characters. Why does gender preference have to have a toggle over anything else? When you say that it needs an exception then you are being biased. I want this issue to be treated fair and by putting in a toggle/gender preference you are not treating it the same. And please do not use the people are born gay/bi thing. Some people like myself are yes but not everyone is and there are people that are born with depression, that are narcissist. I don't see the toggle for that group.

I am not trying to make a point of you but for people that want SGRA its putting their playtime on hold. They dont know if they can play a certain character or have to re-roll. That is why all alot want is just some info. If a person wants to play a bounty hunter but not sure IF Mako becomes a SS option will they have to reroll or should they wait or will it not matter. It takes on average 200 Hours to get a character to 50. Alot of us want it now but we are not demanding implementation now just a bit of info so we can plan and go from there. And yes it has been only 2 months plus since live release but we have gone over 5 months no without any kind of update or new information.

In the movies you see basically 2 romance arcs among the 6 full movies. Leia with Han/Luke (( incest ewww!)) and Annikin with Padme. 2 relationships is not enough to base on either side if there was or was not any GLBT people in Star wars.

Can we please get an update on SGRA. Even if its not planned until 2.0 alot of players are holding off making characters because the community does not know what is going to happen

Ok a filter is anything that removes content visible from game. Toggle that makes certain romance arcs disappear from game Is a filter. I click said toggle and guess what that content is no longer visible when played. No toggle means that there is no content when presented that is denied to a player. And picking gender preference is the same thing its a toggle with bows and spray paint on it. Does the same thing with a less offensive name. I don't see why in what is 200 plus hours of game play that a handful of SS flirts is so hard to look over and that you have to have a system that labels people as offensive. Its not like they make you choose the flirt options. There is alot of offensive material in the game and putting a filter on something places that item at the top of the list of being the most offensive.

Its because implementing a toggle that filters content that reflects on a minority group is highly offensive. I am sorry but by putting in a toggle like that as its been said time and time again that it makes being GLBT more offensive then being a murder, slaver, abuser, or creep. As I made in a previous post I have to see people use the Sith punish ability and I am not even a sith. So i have to watch people abuse a NPC at the GTN listening to their companion cry. I do my best to ignore it there is alot about this game that bothers me but I do not start threads about how certain things offend me in game and try to get forced filters put into game. If that is how people want to play their characters so be it I don't like it but I am not going to let a thing like that stop me from playing and I am not going to lock people out of playing a dark abusive sith or make them feel like they are abusers when they make their characters. Remember what you are asking for, in the process of leveling from 1-50 you will have to see in what is a good couple hundred hours plus of game play if you play smuggler you will see 5-7 companion flirts(( double that if you have 2 companions of the same gender you can flirt with)) that are same gender and possibly a dozen IF they implement flirting with same gender npc's. Its not every person that you come in contact with. And the trade off is this , that you want a filter that basically says that the most offensive thing in the game is a willing romance between 2 people of the same gender or harmless night of fun between 2 people of the same gender? Also remember this game is bringing in alot of new people that haven't played a MMO before or a Bioware game. If they lock themselves into a set way or do not realize what they are doing they create a character. This is why toggles are bad. I am sorry there is content that upsets alot of people in game this should be no different.

Well one stance I have seen for Pro toggle is this. That upon character creation that you pick your sexuality? There is one major flaw I see with that, Character creation is deciding one thing and one thing alone how your character looks not acts. There is not one thing on character creation as it is now that defines what a person is besides species and look. If we are going to put a toggle on that screen then we might as well put a darkside/lightside toggle, a sense of humor/wit/sarcasm toggle, and Oh here is a good one how about a replace all empire voices toggle because we cant have those British sounding people in game. (( that was sarcasm by the way I am mostly Welsh descent as is )) Your toggle for EVERY action is already in game. You get 3 of them with every option. And I will take this a step further how about a toggle that turns off the what some people feel is highly offensive slap the sith species punish ability. What is odd is that , SGRA's are more offensive or intrusive then beating around a person that cannot and will not fight back and just starts crying. I find it horribly offensive but I choose to ignore it. I don't use it and you have the same choices to ignore what you find offensive/political. Just because its not your cup of tea or you support it doesn't mean it should be put out there and branded as offensive. If you don't know what i am talking about look up sith slap on YouTube. NOW on the other hand I know that usually flirt is usually the only nice option on alot of arcs surrounded by 2 blehs make them feel bad. I can say flat out yes there needs to be some more bromance/BFF type options. One of the things I would like to see added is a best friend arc where its not a romance but just the preferred person you would want to be around. Options that are clearly defined as hey we are great friends or building friendship with that crew member. I am ok with adding a 4th button for flirts and giving people even more options when working around where there can be SGRA and OGRA. Bioware and EA has never had a toggle for this content in the past and yes some of the games that have had it were M rated but even then this game is rated Teen just like the Sims. It boils down to being offensive to a group of minorities by labeling their lifestyle as worthy of being crude and political vs ignoring a thing you do not agree with. I am sorry but what i have seen in this game as of abuse and intense subject matter One item should NOT be singled out for censorship or made to look like its obscene.

I have been watching this for a few days now and I would just like to point something out. When you see the flirt option that is exactly what it is an OPTION of what you would like your character to do. It doesn't mean that now every player character is now bi or gay. Let me post this as an example you get an option to kill a rebel((DS)), let them run away((LS)) or escort them to safety((better LS)). Now if i am playing a kind by the code Jedi, the DS option of killing the person does not make the Jedi a evil or dark person just because its on the wheel. You as a player decide what you want to do and how your character is. Now I do support a toggle in that you can turn all romance options on or off only, or Putting all of the romance/flirt options on the left side of the wheel to open more options up to the players. But to place a filterable value on SGRA vs OGRA is not fair and offensive. It makes people feel like what they are doing even in a game as evil and worse then things such as genocide, abuse, slavery ect. It isn't fair for them to feel that being GLBT is something totally worthy of being filtered.

That is not Vette in the trailer. At the time of the sacking Vette would of only been like 10-13 years old. That is Malgus' lover/slave from what i understand named Eleena Daru.

I have seen alot of ill will in this posting on both sides. This will always be a topic of debate and invoke strong feelings. Insults either way do not accomplish anything. Now saying that I would like to chime in and what I feel is reasonable. I would like to see them at least say something. First and foremost even if its something along the line of we are not sure how we are implementing it. The limbo is making people not play or hold off playing certain characters and that is ruining alot of fun for people. Now if they have started on something along the line of making current romancable characters bi it is alot more then just changing out a few pronouns and throwing a switch. There is tons of lines they would need to bring the voice actors in for to rehash or change the context to make sense in a same gender relationship. They would have to do this all at once as they cant make one character bi and no others for a while. So they are at the mercy of i think its 18 different voice actors maybe 19. And then all the flirt options that is going to be a huge task. Also if you have a bi option there is alot of possible love triangles that they would have to factor in. Just alot of things that do not make sense in just changing a pronoun. Not only that but there is kissing cut scene animation. There is 4 different heights of characters and they have to go though and make sure that the different heights work right with scenes where they kiss/hug etc. Nothing looks as bad as what should be 2 people kissing but its one person kissing a forehead while the other is kissing the neck. Then on top of that any game like this suffers from the domino effect. If you make a change somewhere it can totally break something elsewhere. I would just like to say to those that don't want characters to be bi is this. This game was meant for people to live THEIR adventure. If a person wants to romance a person of the same gender it shouldn't hurt you. Also those of you that have quit because of this. I am sorry that you have but Bioware knows of this issue and has apologized. The one thing they do not want to do is make any promises to you that they are unable to keep. Until they know for sure what and when they will not tell you what their plans are. As i said earlier I would like a heads up but if they ARE working on something they are not going to promise you content then not be able to back it up. So what i would ask is that people please keep an open mind about this. And second if you are one that wants SSR's in game stay with the game, support it, canceling your subscription and leaving is not helping. I know Bioware made a mistake by not having them in at launch but there is alot of wonderful content to be seen in game and enjoy it for what it is now and what it can be. Threats of cancellation do nothing to boost morale or accomplish anything. Most people that work in an MMO love the game itself and take pride and usually are gamers themselves. Keep the topic alive and burning but keep it civil:)
