  1. I'm playing Bounty Hunter (LS) right now, and even though I go to the Empire for money I will forfeit payment if they want me to do something against my morals. Of course that's just one players choice, but through playing the Imperial side I've notice many NPCs who don't seem to be bad people. Before playing the game I considered the Empire to be pretty much evil, but now I see that it isn't that black and white. For instance: The captain of the Black Talon- not a bad guy, very loyal to the Empire but doesn't want to go into a fight he thinks is impossible (doesn't want to be thrown away). If you coax him into it, he helps you as much as possible, and takes responsibility for his choices. Nice guy, being an Imperial officer is just his upbringing/job. I ran into an Imperial military ground leader who was very concerned about her troops, etc. As was mentioned above, parts of the Empire work well with the insane, only concerned with their one personal gain-type of people, but many of them are just there because it's what they were raised into and it's all they know.
  2. I would like a Blu-Ray release of the original trilogy/without the added things of the re-releases. I don't mind some of the additions, but I just don't need them, and I feel like every time they are released more things are added to them. I just want the original version that my family had on VHS, in higher quality. (If they wanted to keep the updated Lightsaber effects, that's fine, I did like those) I watch Star Wars movies for those iconic scenes: Cantina, Millenium Falcon vs 4 TIEs, attack on the Death Star, Battle of Hoth, Dagobah, Bespin, Jabba's Palace, pretty much everything in the last half of RotJ, and especially Luke and Vader with the Emperor. Also, pretty much every one of Darth Vader's lines is quote-worthy. (Perhaps you feel you are being treated unfairly? ) I understand that George Lucas wanted to put some things into the movies that he wasn't able to before, but I feel like they are distracting from the reasons I love the movies so much in the first place.
  3. Thanks guys. I actually really like filling out trees like this (I play LoL and their Mastery system works the same, except you can change it any time) but the ones in games like this are more concrete and I don't want to screw up
  4. Hey guys, I've played several MMOs before (didn't play WoW though) so I am not great at planning ahead for my Skill Trees. My main right now is a BH Mercenary, and I was just wondering if anyone had advice on what I should spec for. So far I've put a little into healing and a little into Arsenal (the middle one?) because I think I wanted to max one of those out and get some in the other, but I'm not sure if this is the best way for me to go at this point in time. Should I instead max one tree out first, and then start in a new one? Put all 41 points into one tree? Is Bounty Hunter healing worth anything, or should I stick to missiles? Any advice would be helpful, I just don't want to be slightly underpowered for my level because I am indecisive.
  5. I was wondering about those also, thanks!
  6. I'm not sure about communicating with your friends, but I'm pretty sure if you are in a group and you are turning in a quest or something, and your group-mates aren't near you, they can holo into the conversation instead of having to run there.
  7. Sorry you were having problems! I hope they get fixed in the future and you can come back.
  8. I believe that the Flashpoints in this game are the "Dungeons" here, I've only done one so far but I found it fun. Also, welcome to Star Wars! If you are brand new I recommend watching the movies (4,5,6 especially, the others are ok but not as good) as this can help you get more into the spirit.
  9. I'm glad you like it! I've played a few MMOs before this one, but I enjoy it a lot also. Just make sure you don't overdo it and forget about your real life
  10. I played the SW RPG with my friends a few years ago, I really liked it. It was a nice change of pace from regular D&D (which my friends have run into the ground)
  11. I have been looking forward to this game for a long time, but I was disheartened when I read all the people talking about "gamebreaking" bugs and being unable to run it at all. Being hopeful, I got it anyway (and a new computer to play it on!) and was immensely pleased when I did not encounter any bugs of this sort and was able to play it without problem (I have gotten dropped a few times for error 9000, but I can just hop back in) I know that some other players are having real problems with this game, and I hope they get fixed soon, but I at least am having a great time with it.
