  1. I want this game to succeed. I'm no expert, but i think any of us would do a better job at designing the F2P stuff.
  2. Exactly... 1 to 50 is the right thing though. Don't sell UI stuff... that is just stupid. Get people to subscribe because they like the game, not because they have to if they want a bank, quickbars, chat channels, etc... Sell game content, orange gear and items... The free players will buy a ton of cosmetic things... don't worry guys.
  3. Agree, but that does not mean they have to be as bad as Turbine.
  4. I just want to put the show in perspective for those wondering how the hell they are. The host has been podcasting on mmo since 2006. You can have a look here: https://itunes.apple.com/ca/podcast/massively-online-gamer/id116831396 As for the co-hosts, you have the guy running Darth Hater and a Massively columnist. Probably 2 of the biggest star wars and swtor fanboy out there. The Republic now have 111 shows. The longest running on gamebreaker.tv
  5. I'm subscriber and I'll stay one. But seriously, they should not sell gameplay elements. I have no problem if they wanna sell warzones, flashpoints or operations... that's content. Don't sell quickbars, bank slots, crafting, etc...
  6. Everyone should watch this episode of gamebreaker.tv http://bit.ly/Rr25l2
  7. I'm french canadian. I use the website from Montreal. I've never ended up on the english website. No idea what you are talking about... but seems like you made a big research to make a point that isn't really relevant. It' your browser or computer.
  8. I played SWG up to the NGE and after. I know what i'm talking about. Pre-CU, the game had 0 content and pretty much everything about it was broken. Nothing to do besides create a nest from a mission terminal and go destroy it. SWG started to have content when JTL was released. Like the vast majority of the gamers, i want to be entertained when i log in. I want to log in for 30mins or a couple hours and have something to do quick. SWTOR allows me to do that. I'm always a fan of the games i play. Which means i once was a fan of SWG, but i quickly realized it was so broken that the game was unfixable. It was done in such ways that it was impossible to add content to it. And yes, i'm telling you right now (and you can save that message if you want). Archeage will BOMB.
  9. There would be no need to merge the servers if some of you didn't whine when you had to wait 15 mins in queue. You guys complained then and you still complain now.
  10. Problem is that ArcheAge will bomb. SWG was a massive failure and LA probably told BW to stay away from what SWG was. It's just normal. They didn't want another commercial failure. SWTOR has a very solid base. It would be nice to add some sandbox elements in there, but what? Gathering and crafting is already implemented and it works. No need to change that. Changing it would create too many bugs and it's probably very risky to do so. What they need to do is expand on space.
  11. Yes please. Allow the following: -Trade Network -Companion missions -Guild Chat -Server Status -Latest News -Game forums
  12. I'm sure i'm not the only one with this problem... The icon warning you that your companion wants to talk is lit up, but no quests are available when i go to a cantina or ship. Also, is it possible to MISS (like it's not avail anymore after a certain amount of time) a companion quest?
  13. Actually, having a workaround makes it non game breaking. But of course, it's a major functionality issue.
  14. When you unqueue, does it fixes the problem? Cause that happened to me once and i just unqueued and the lag was gone.
