  1. I am also getting this weird sound issue. It starts happening after a while of playing and will stop if I restart the game client (log out all the way and restart the game). But, then, it comes back awhile later. What is occurring on my end is that the sound will stop playing and the mouths of characters no longer move. I am still getting the subtitles on the screen, so I can continue to play..but it's annoying. Or, occasionally, the sound will go out sporadically where a character says a line, skips a few, and says another randomly. This did NOT occur before 1.2. I have sent bug reports on it, but received no feedback. I also know that 2 other friends are having the exact same issues.
  2. EXCELLENT! Love your work. Keep it up, please.
  3. I like the idea of this. I think the execution is going to be difficult (across servers), but I can spread the word to the guild I'm in that's on Ebon Hawk and see if they'll follow through and play only BH or Trooper for that weekend. We like roleplaying.
  4. I haven't had anyone beg me for credits. I had someone ask me to leave the guild I'm with and consider signing with a new guild (which I highly considered doing since their guild has more active players than the one I'm with, but I turned them down politely). I have had MANY tell/whispers about running quests and flashpoints with people. I know it's because I'm playing a level 50 Jedi Sage that's healer specced. I get a lot of, "Hey, can you run [insert flashpoint/quest name] with me/us and be the healer?" IF I'm not busy on another quest already with other people, I'll usually go ahead and do the quest/flashpoint and heal. Why not? Isn't that kinda the spirit of the game in the first place? I am never rude when someone asks me for help. I remember what it's like to be a noob or to be low level and need help. Then again, I also haven't had very many people who were rude or annoying to me. I think my ignore list has 2 people on it in total and both of those were idjits in the chatroom who were spouting hate.
  5. I play with my man. We leveled a Gunslinger and Sage all the way to 50th. Now, we're working on a Jedi Knight and Trooper. We also play with my son and my brother occasionally (though they prefer Imperial).
  6. I would think that different planets would have different day/night cycles anyway. It's not like it would be daytime on Coruscant the same time that it is on Hoth. It *may* be, but it's possible it wouldn't be. It could be daytime on one planet and nighttime on others. Plus, different areas of the planet might be in daytime while other areas are in night (depending on where you are on a planet). However, I don't really see the need for it unless there's going to be special events that occur occasionally at night (parties hosted by BW online) or special quest givers, quests, or monsters that are only out at night.
  7. I like all of our companions..except Theran. He gives me the heebie jeebies and seems like a creeper. Plus, I didn't like how he kept hitting on my consular even though Holliday is obviously crazy about him! What a jerk. (And I like Holliday MORE than I like Theran by a lot). I loved Qyzen and he was my steadfast companion through about 30 levels of my life. I still keep him geared up and ready to go, but I don't use him as often now. I really enjoyed his voice and his gruffness never bothered me. I like Iresso and Nadia because they both seem like sweet people that I'd like in real life. Nadia is especially eager for appreciation and wants so much for me to like her. I can't help but think she's a doll. But, Zenith is my FAVORITE. If he were romanceable... *le swoon* LOL.
  8. Thanks, everybody! You've all be great help. I will finish my storyline now instead of waiting.
  9. I am on Voss and I'm level 50 as a consular. I am (obviously) not finished with my main storyline at this point. Is it worth it to finish the storyline now or do you think I should wait until Bioware eventually allows us (hopefully) to progress past 50th level..and then, finish it for the XP/leveling? Just wanted some advice... Thanks all.
  10. Level 50 Consular Sage (healer spec) and I have no serious issues with PvP. I've won every single versus single match (so far) that I've been in. It really does depend on how you play your character, though. Fixing your UI so you can find all of your abilities in a pinch is important. Also, being buffed to the max and keeping your gear upgraded helps a lot.
  11. If I end up rolling an alt on Ebon Hawk, I'll check ya out.
  12. I'm on Ebon Hawk. Like others, I have seen very little roleplaying aside from a few dance emotes. I have gotten lucky ONCE..I'm playing a Light Side Jedi Consular and I ran across a Darth on Hoth. We had a snarling emote fest that was great fun (but alas, he was 7 levels higher than me and I wasn't about to suggest a duel! I may be good, but I'm not stupid!) Point is...it was fun. I wish there was more like that going on. Any time I've seen people attempt to roleplay, they usually do it in general (if they aren't doing it in private with a specific player). They get flamed for doing it in general, so it's no surprise they stopped trying at all. I love roleplaying, but I try to get my fix of it with actual tabletop gaming instead now.
  13. I listen to "Kill Everybody" by Skrillex, "Bodies" by Drowning Pool, "By Any Means Necessary" by Hammerfall..and a lot of Disturbed. But, "Kill Everybody" is really my "go to" song for sure... And I'm a Light Side Jedi Consular! Mwahahahaha....
  14. No. I just finished the Hoth portion of the story and am about to go to Waypoint Station. I still have a way to go before my storyline is finished. Hopefully, Zenith will perk up and start talking soon. Thanks for the response.
  15. Real Life: Scientist, Writer, Editor and college student (trying to get a Masters) Classes in Game: Jedi Consular (Seer, Light Side, Biochem), Sith Warrior Why I chose them? The Consular was for 2 reasons: 1. I'm usually the healer/cleric type in games I play. Appeals to the part of me that wants to be a doctor, I guess. 2. My guild needed healers, so I took that route for the greater good of my guildmates. Sith Warrior: 1. My son wanted to play the Inquisitor, so I went with Warrior to do something different than him when we played as a group. 2. I wanted to play a horrendously scary, BEASTLY chick Sith Warrior to take out my own aggressions with.
  16. I have Zenith at almost 9000 affection. I haven't received a single conversation prompt from him since he was about 4000-5000. Anyone else experiencing this? I know I'm only about 1/2 way through his conversations (I had last got the one where he was discussing GrayStar's journals after he received them). Or is this a bug? Thanks in advance to any who answer.
  17. You're doing excellent work! I was so happy to see ZENITH represented, so thanks! Impressive...
  18. I'm having the same issue with one bonus quest from Balmorra (can't recall the name at the moment). It isn't from any storyline instance, but from a different quest instance entirely. It is only a bonus (Kill so many X number of enemies type). I can't go back into the instance because it was already played, so I can't finish the bonus quest..and I can't get rid of it now at all. It is greyed out and can NOT be abandoned. Bioware needs to fix this.
  19. See if you can find a buddy to run through that area with you. Sometimes, that's the best way to go if you are having a really hard time with one section. Good luck.
  20. I have 2 tats. As a person who has them, let me say this...pick something that has MEANING for you. If you pick something just because it's "cool" or "cute", you may find later that you regret it (you can pick something that is both cool and has meaning for you..that's actually probably the best choice). But, if you find something that has meaning to you personally, you'll be less likely to regret having it later. Tattoos are (basically) forever, so don't pick one "just because". You can't get rid of them nearly as easily as you can get one. Good luck with your choice. I love mine, but tattooing isn't something that is right for everyone.
