I think it's frustrating to me only in 2 instances (the running to the ship thing):
1. My companion will get the "need to talk to you at the ship" bubble. I want to encourage the companion storyline, so I usually need to make time in my current questline to run back to the ship for this conversation. Then, after all the speeder/taxi time and running through the spaceport, etc., to get to the ship...the companion no longer has that bubble and no longer wants to talk. This has occurred more than once to me. A Quick Travel to Spaceport or Quick Travel to Space Hangar would alleviate this issue.
2. When I'm ready to log off, I'd rather have my toon in my ship. Yes, I know that you don't have to do this. I just prefer it, when possible. I don't like having to stay in an "unsafe" spot or find a cantina (where there is usually only a couple per planet that aren't usually near whatever quest I'm following at that time). I don't want to waste 15 minutes of real time, running back to my ship or to a "local" cantina. I usually play until I'm about to drop from exhaustion, the servers are going down, or whatever. I don't like wasting the time on things that aren't quest related. I just want to be able to log off with peace of mind. I don't feel running back to my ship all the time adds to my gaming experience in any way. Quick Travel to Hangar would make that much easier.
If it would cause problems with available quest lines, I'm okay with a quick travel being just IN the spaceport somewhere close to the hangars.
And those people who didn't want to use them, as usual, would definitely not be forced to.
It's also not something that I feel needs to be done right away. It is just a suggestion.
