  1. Marauder beats most, but is beaten by Pyrotech (most of the time) and Operative (if they get to open). Assassin is just generally strong against everyone.
  2. I won't disagree. Huttball is the worst warzone by far.
  3. Everyone already specced this. It doesn't even give 50% resolve, allowing you to hit people with up to 3 CCs sometimes.
  4. Cross faction communication through /say 10-49 warzone bracket. No companions in warzones
  5. This isn't true. A few good players can completely take over a Huttball game if they know what they're doing, and cap within seconds with pull and leap chains.
  6. When I first start playing warzones back at level 13, I was dumbfounded that there were no in-game scoreboards. Just another hilarious missing feature of this supposedly AAA MMO.
  7. Guarding healers is not simply to reduce damage to the healers, but as a psychological deterrent. "Oh god he's guarded, I'll never kill him, better target someone else" so they don't even try, allowing the healer to freecast more often, which is the best thing possible. Even if you don't guard a single point of damage the effect is huge.
  8. Ouch, that's some Truly True Truth right there. gg OP.
  9. Resolve is not broken in the sense that it does not work at its coded purpose - to make you immune to stuns, mezzes, and knockbacks when full. It is broken in the sense that it fails at its intended purpose - to make you immune to CC when full, as it does nothing to the CC that puts you into full resolve (allowing resolve to start draining before the CC breaks!) and also does not affect roots at all, which is a CC to melee classes. I wish people would stop using the term interchangeably. I have never seen someone stunned when their resolve was full. I have never seen someone knocked back when their resolve was full.
  10. OP is the worst kind of loser - the defeatist kind. Not only will he stop trying, but he'll actively attempt to get others on the team to stop trying. He's also too cowardly to just quit and let someone who wants to play get a slot. Shame these people in game when you see them, and hopefully they'll just stop queueing entirely.
  11. The guy was right in that protection is situational. However, what he fails to realize is those situations happen quite frequently in warzones.
  12. But that's the thing. How often can you do that? Ok, you super relic/adrenal crit focus trained a healer down. Wooooo, oh wait, there's still more. And they're still guarded and still healing and your cooldowns are down. Hey look! The healer you just killed has revived. Now what?
  13. On our server, a Sage is sitting on the sandcrawler, and, for a fee, will pull you up. Capitalism in action.
  14. Bad logic. This would be giving advantages not for putting time into your character, but putting time into OTHER characters.
  15. I am the only person left in my guild. Everyone else has quit. I'm still there because I like our name.
  16. It's so true. Which means they're probably going to roll Powertechs next.
  17. I'm not sure the offhand has a different hit rate, just reduced damage I think.
  18. PvP for fun. Stop PvPing for gear. You are what is wrong with the game.
  19. This sounds a whole lot like "I'm wrong and I know it." After 1.2, everyone, apparently. I agree, but PvP gear has the "you'll eventually get it even if you suck" thing going for it. Not so in raids. Not sure what point you're trying to make though.
  20. Listen to yourself. "Forced to keep up." Utter nonsense. You're not forced to do anything. If you don't PvP you'll get the same gear you always got. And if you don't PvP, why do you need to "keep up" with anyone? Keep up for what reason? Do you see how your argument is getting dumber and dumber? There is multiple lock outs. Few do more than 1 raid a night. There's a lot of PvP content and bosses to down. If you're doing all PvE content every week you don't really have much time to PvP...unless of course you're some 8 hour a day loser.
  21. Why would they be forced to PvP to get gear that is the same strength as the gear they get from PvE? That is the opposite of being "forced." It's called freedom. They have the freedom to get the gear from either venue. No one would cry.
  22. 105% is the soft cap you would be wise not to exceed, but it depends on class. Some barely need it at all since many attacks don't even use accuracy.
