  1. Hi all, recently returned from Afghanistan and been away from the game for about a year. Looking for a decent PvE guild with a decent raiding schedule (Eastern or central time). I used to be in a top 20 WoW guild but am looking to be more casual on the schedule but would like to find a group of hardcore players that demolish content. I see a few recruitment threads on here but just curious if anyone was specifically looking for a sentinel.
  2. Unsubbed, and may return if they ever add space content. 1. No Space. And dont give me the BS that the rail shooter is space content. This is an MMO in 2012, should have been able to get in my ship and go where I want. 2. PVE is hardly different from WoW. BW really didn't do anything innovating with this game except waste a ******** of time and money on voice overs. What happened to guild capital ships etc? THOSE would have been innovations. 3. Server merges/forums. BW really pissed me off by making forums for server groups.... That **** is ridiculous. There could have been a lot more trading etc with our own forum. THe fact that they were too cheap to do something simple like that pissed me off. 4. Customer service is horrible. Practically non-existent. I would dare to say they are worse than AT&T.... 5. PvP/ balance. BW clearly needs to revamp PvP and take a look at the classes.
  3. That's my point. A real space environment would have completed swtor and gave way to a whole other community within the game. It's one way SWG stuck around so long after the disastrous update
  4. And yes I am talking about space.... So your argument is noted, but irrelevant
  5. The bottom line is that you get another community/ player base. And to be frank, Star Wars has the stars in its name... To introduce an MMO in the sci fI genre without space negates the "revolutionary" story telling.
  6. Been playing for a bit now. Yes, I am a founder. But now I am picking to be more productive and give this game the wave goodbye. BW created a great game, but picked the wrong platform. I think everyone can agree they are great desIgners of new worlds, content, stories etc. and yes stories matter even in MMOs. But in picking this genre/brand BW missed a key moment. I played SWG afte wow got watered down and only kept playing for the "space" feel of things. Missions I could go on, weapons, shields , and parts I could create. Ships I could BUILD or BUY. A few priorities in the rIght places could have set this game up for long term succes. I hope BW goes in directions to keep this game up and make it an attraction for all SW fans because there are tons of them. But they need to realize SWG was kept alive by a company's horrible decisions by having several communities beyond just the PvP and PvE realms. There were pilots. Assault squads. Commanders. The list goes on and on. Being military in the real world made that game so much more cooler. Who remembers the article in gaming magazines about offensives in SWG?? I remember reading about that and wanting to be a part of that! Where is the "dig yourself in the trenches with your faction"' feel nowadays?? It will be non existent unless BW decides to go the route they should have and create a Space sim/freedom/whatever you wanna call it where we can really MMO some ****. You can cry patience all you want, but some research would have made this game a WoW killer by far. Star Wars has three decades on WoW....
  7. you clearly... and quite simply... do not know what you are talking about.
  8. If legacy gives any advantage to anyone in anyway in PVP or PVE, I am out. Will try GW 2 or something. BW ****ed up a lot of ****, especially with crafting. This will be the last straw for me.
  9. Fix this **** along with everything else or we are going back/forward to other MMOs. Tired of your ****** excuses bioware. I WASNT AFK.
  10. As long as it doesnt effect anything in PVE or PVP. If it does, BW can **** themsleves and I will not give them another dime.
  11. f it was difficult, or something that was a challenge, I wouldn't be against it. The problem I have is that their are different types of players. Their should be an oppurtunity to set yourself a part. You must be one of the "No combat logs kids" because your afraid you will be kicked out.
  12. No. The point is, that if you have to do something HARD that takes TIME, you should be on top of the playing field because you EARNED it. If you sit in front of the computer face rolling on the keyboard for 20 hours a day because you can, that isn't any of my business, more power to you. But in no way, should a face roller, be on equal terms with gear or ability than a dedicated raider/pvper. Sad that the convo had to go this way, but damn man. Every game you gotta beat the bad guys to win right? Where the hell did the working mentality of MMOers go, why is it all this self entitlement crap? Next thing the casuals will be up i arms claiming to be the 99%.
  13. I stated my opinion. that's all I did. So **** of the thread unless you want to be productive. You must be one of those "No we cant have real combat logs!" kids......
  14. Yes it is. But not by facerolling through quests a monkey complete. You want to reward players make them earn through skill with hard operations requiring coordination and teamwork.
