I did check out Support, even before I posted here. The problem with Support is that after they know I'm a subscribed player they tell me to contact people IN-GAME, and because I cannot enter the game itself I couldn't go through with their recommendation. I will look into it further.

I'm currently in Asia and recently got a new computer so I can play Swtor oversea (my account is North America). Everything was fine, from download to security key, but once I got through all that and click "play" the button simply grey out and pause. It was like any other regular log in, except nothing happened for the next 20 minutes.
When I click the button again, the greyed-out button got its color back and we're back to square one. Repeat trying shows the same result, the button greyed out without getting me into the game, and refreshes once I click on it again.
Anyone has any clue on what's going, or at least what I can do might remedy the situation?

Most seem to have issue logging in in the first place, mine simply doesn't show up. My roommate who uses the same internet and server had his game running fine.

I logged in, arrive at the "Select a Server" page, but the list is empty. I uninstalled the game, repair the launcher, but still no server show up. Tomorrow is the double xp weekend, I don't want to miss it
Can anyone help? As far as I know I am not the only one who has this issue.

I had the same issue. I went into the system files, ran the fix launcher, tried again and it worked. Not sure if it will for everyone but just throwing that out there.
Where are those? I ran search and couldn't find them.

Even as I play some Light side characters, there are still choices that makes me want to go Dark side (praise to Bioware writers). I want to hear your story about such situation, and I expect a lot of spoilers, hence the title.
I'll give an example here. When my Sith Warrior first arrived on Dromund Kaas, I decided to kill a slave. Why?
Vette - Wow, didn't take you long to start the Dromund Kaas death toll.
Me - It was a long shuttle ride...
Vette - You're going withdraw, again?

At least DA showed a bit of a cutscene.
And they got Dwarves. I strongly encourage Bioware create more non-human-shape companions, all the more fun when intimacy breaks out

As far as I know, the talent gives +crit to Force attack only, and many abilities under Combat/Watchman are not listed as Force. Can expert players describe their experience?

All this does is bring up heated controversy from both sides. I think you just wanted to stir things up and nothing else.
Shows how little you know and how willing you are to presume. I started this thread out of curiosity, I could care less how many previous attempts there were, I don't usually wander in SWToR forums outside of class and customer service.

If possible, I wouldn't mind have my Sith Warrior go for Pierce, consider he's one of the few manlier looking companions, and my Warrior is equally buff. In short, bara.

See topic, I know current companions cannot be same-gender romance targets, but we can always fantasize, yes? In time, who knows.
I always find my female Sith Warrior good with Jaesa, either Light or Dark works, but especially Dark side.

Since the Phase Walk is giving to Assassin as a whole, I'd love to see how it impacts tanking, it allows you to teleport right to the right spot when you need it. Lovely.

If there will be option for same sex flirting, I don't see why there shouldn't be old folk flirting. After all, there's plenty of flirt between straight conversations regardless of age on the MALE side, why not female?

I have been playing this class since launch and can tell you I have tried every variation of specs possible. Go up to AP to be viable. I usually get 650-850k in a voidstar with this spec.
In that sense, is Assault Specialist viable for PvE? Do I skip AP in the rotation because it's ammo consuming?

I don't like the AP. It doesn’t do much more damage than other attacks, has a slow cool down, and doesn't affect an area like the sticky grenade. For all the skill point to get up to it I don't think it'sworth the trade .
I've been doing a hybrid spec between gunnery and assault and liking it more. With the DoT of the incendiary round and the Armor Piercing stack of the grav round (which does 75%of the damage of the assault plastique not counting any of its buffs to HiB).
DPS wise the build has been about 80% what I got with Assault but the damage is concentrated more on a target rather than spread around. So instead of lowering 4 enemies to 50% health then dying I kill 2 and go down. And in PUG PvP a kill is better than a "hurt".
So Grav Round is useful even with Plasma Cell eh?

Still couldn't launch. Should I uninstall the game and reinstall?
