If a boxed expansion would mean no real update for 9 (or more) months which is what can happen in that case then i think im more for the regular 6-8 week updates with a big update/digital expansion once a year or so then a boxed expansion. Not that i woundt want a boxed expansion and the huge ammount of content it usually adds and i do think considering the current state of the game that this has (and most likely will) be considered in the nearby future but if i have choose (and we cant have both:p) i just prefer the current situation more of 6-8 week updates with a big update/dig expansion every 9-12 months.

Those factions have their reputation vendors (like any other reputation faction) that sell some unique items, all the vendors of these 2 cartel factions are located in the cartel bazaar i believe. These vendors also sell some unique cartel items (if you got enough rep with them) from cartel packs that are no longer available like Revan's mask but one needs a certain ammount of so called 'cartel market certificates' for that and those can only be gained from cartel packs, but if your somebody who wants for example Revan's mask then that might be a better way to get it then spending a quadrillion credits on gtn.

    If thats saying all of it cant be fixed im not sure, cause for example the falling trough floor stuff is somethin ive only seen in the past few months, and the overall magical lagging/glitching also has its moods apparantly cause it certainly isnt allways there.

    The bugness im talking about is the sudden glitching, lags that come out of nowhere, people suddenly falling trough floors and you cant hit them anyore but they can hit you and they suddenly reapear afther 10 sec or so, people suddenly turning invisible and again you cant hit them but they can hit you and reapear afther +/- 10 sec, lagness/glitching in abilitys where you have pressed the ability yet it doesnt activate even though you get the standart 0.5/1 sec cd on it as if you have used it, ability lag itself where you used certain abilitys yet the result arrives on your screen several sec afther you used it, and im sure there is more i forgot about atm. What i wondered is any of this going to get fixed at some point in the nearby future or at the very least greatly reduced? Cause much of this if not all of it has been going on for months now.

Yes just found out myself I personally allready kept the Duma strike mission at bay (wich i believe you get on friday) untill the weekly on sunday, now however its best to also keep the weekly at bay for one day till you get the Cha raaba mission at the monday reset so you can do it all in one go instead of doing the 2 for the weekly twice.
  6. Yes same here... Could be that we now get this one tomorrow cause there wasnt any mission on monday, if it doesnt then i take it something is wrong.
  7. A white one with a black core would be my biggest wish but i dont think that will happen anytime soon.

The 12k was perhaps over the top, but what makes no sence at all is that the new (allot harder) spacemission now reward less credits then those 3 old ones you do at lvl 50, those old ones give something like 4k. Mabey if you do bonusses it can end up above the old ones but even then i dont think it will be much first cause several of the new ones have only 1 or 2 bonusses and becaus the old ones have bonusses themself and those old ones are now extremly easy with the grade 7 gear to the point that you hardly have to put in any real effort/focus to complete everything in it while the new ones can put you on the tip of your chair even without aiming on any of the bonusses. That the 12k got a cut i can understand but this really makes no real sence to me

I dont know how they could think this was a good idea but these lvl 10 +41 exp crystals havent improved low lvl pvp, anybody without them now is like somebody on lvl 50 without any pvp gear or lets say at the least recruit gear while those with them are those in BM/WH gear. Low lvl pvp was once a nice balanced placed where gear only had a limitted if any impact on ones performance, lvl (number of abilitys) and skill was the thing that mattered most, but sadly that has been partly ruined by this.
  10. If you look back on this server forum you will notice this isnt the first thread about this issue. Imps really suck here speaking in the overall lvl, and from what i heard this is the same on many servers, a main reason for that is becaus its the more popular side, therefor you get allot more 12 year old wannabe Darth Maul/Vader types on average. I know out of own exp that WoW had the very same issue in the first 1-2 years of pvp, there you also had the less popular side more or less owning high lvl pvp 90%+ of the time and i see a dejavu over here. What eventually solved it in WoW and balanced this situation out was cross server pvp, however WoW by that time had a ton of servers to cross with, SWTOR has allot more limited choice if it ever will bring in cross server pvp, i expect in time we will get it and that will improve this issue to some extend but i dont see this coming anytime soon.
  11. Constant connection issues and 10 min to get back is another thing. Therefor i will only consider this timelock of a "few min" afther a certain point in the FP so the group can have some idea if the connection of the others are stable enough and certainly not a 10 min timelock, and if that will ever be considered then it should ofcourse only apply once to that player, if the same player DC's within 2 min afther getting back well then ofcourse his "few min" to not be able to kick no longer apply. It should not be aimed for people with connection issues of any kind but merely at 'average' player that can allways have a DC at some point and becaus of the games mechanic are forced to have a full restart of the game wich can take several min instead of the +/- 1 min that i was used to in previous MMO's that ive played.

I certainly agree that its necessary afther a while, only the examples i mentioned happened basiclly right afther the DC, like the person DCed and within 10 sec afther that the first impatient person selected vote to kick while the DCed person probably wasnt even back to desktop, and they also happened very far into the FP or even as i said in the earlier post right at the very end, wich can mean the 30-45+ min that an average FP run can take will be fully waisted time only by the impatients of some nubs. A 5 min mark sounds fair to me, i think my time to restart/relog afther a dc certainly falls within that time. Again the main reason why this would be pretty fair and reasonable to implement is becaus of the mechanics of the game itself and how it handles a DC of a player, i have played a few MMO's in the past and none of those had the strange/annoying feature that the whole game would simply CTD when you DCed and since its also a pretty big game it requires some loading time no matter how good ones system is, and i also have the feeling that this "flaw" in the games mechanic is one of the reasons why some people are to impatient to wait a bit... most of them simply know how the game deals with a DC and that it often take several min before a person can get back, not that i would consider that as an excuse to start votekick afther 10 sec but it certainly doesnt help.

A simply thing that could help would be when for example you have cleared the first boss (or mini-boss) of whatever FP and a player gets a dc then the others cant kick him for a certain number of min, lets say the average time to restart the game since i believe the time to restart the game is the main problem and nobody can do anything about that its basiclly a fault of the game itself, and apparently there are lots of people without the patience to wait those mins out even if the Dced person went trough an entire FP with them and did everything fine. Recently the option where afther a certain point in an FP you unlock the ability to go back to your previous location was implemented, and i think that same option could be used for this... that afther a certain point in the FP the others cant kick a DCed player right away but only afther a few min (average time to restart). With F2P now i think the chances of these situations have certainly not decreased, and therefor all the more reason to have something in place to avoid these situations.

As the title says i have a growing issue with the kick system as it currently is, certainly last few days cause in the last 4-5 days ive had 5 experiences where a person got kicked for no other reason then a simple dc that can happen to anybody as any well experienced mmo'er knows. 1 out of those 5 times it was myself and well... it s*cks bigtime certainly when your at the very end of the FP. In the other cases i asked the others to wait a bit but it was as if i talked to 6 year olds, and in 2 of the other 4 cases this happened right at the end of the FP in one case it was even at the final console of BP were you get the choice to go to Dromund or the fleet... so everything was done everything went smooth the guy with the dc did his job ok and then getting a kick at that moment... So as i said im getting real issues with how this kick system currently works. PS. A big problem here is how this game handles a DC, first it crashes down wich can take a min or 2 for a start and then you gotta restart the whole game wich can again take a few min, and that i guess is to much for many.
  15. The loss of deposit was here from start for items cancelled. What is new however is that you now also lose the deposit when you sell or when it expires. And even worse is that when you sell you not only lose the deposit but also an percentage of the ammount you sold it for, i for example sold 5 molecular stabilizers and all combined i think i lost out on 50-60k becaus of this. And i havent found anything of this new cut in the patch notes nor any confirmation on any of the threads from some develloper. Other people have allready made threads about it but they also have no idea if this is either a bug or intended.
  16. Lvl 50 pvp on this server sucks 'big' time on the imp side. If the reps are better organized i dont know, seems so from my exp, at least i see allot more premades (top geared premades) on their side then with the imps. But it doesnt matter cause the situation is just completly out of balance by now and really destroys any fun in pvp, and losing all the time doest even matter either in this situation cause the real problem (for me at least) is that there is basiclly 0 challenge/fun in the great majority of the matches cause the imps simply get steamrolled 80-90% of the time. And this is not something that arrived from the latest server merge, it was allready so before that time only it does seem it has become even worse since the merge. I also woundt be surprized if many good pvpers who where once on the imp side have rerolled on the rep side simply becaus of this, in fact from what others (very active pvpers) told me that has allready happened in many cases. Wich makes the whole situation even worse and you get this downward spiral, cause certainly in the last few weeks any active pvper on the imp side can easily notice the increase in ragequitters, people who camp allmost from the start no matter wich wz and the overall lack of motivation simply becaus most know how it will end anyway shortly afther the start of a wz, and as i said you end up with this downward spiral.

As a Sniper with valor 93 atm (started from april) i can only agree with many other critics here about this idea even though i really think something like this should have been in the game for a Sniper simply becaus it's a 'Sniper'. Seeing Mara's/Senti's with their going into stealth in combat looks quite stupid to me knowing that a "Sniper" has no real stealth ability at all, but adding the suggested stealth ability to the way the Sniper currently works would simply make it very over powered and therefor shoundt be done. However i do say that it should certainly be something to consider for the future, possibly in an expansion or so where the whole layout of classes get a change anyway and then they could blend some stealth ability in for the Sniper that wont make it overpowered.
  18. Merc's can actually be the best dpsers of all allong with Commando's. But one should just check the top dps list afther each match and there is the answer, you often find either a Mara/Sent there or a Sniper/Gunslinger or ofcourse a Merc/Commando, at least those are the most commen ones i get.

It's an OP class atm simple as that, however only when the player really knows how the play the class but that accounts for any class ofcourse only in this case it results in an OP class compared to the rest. I surely hope they get some kind of nerf sometime cause slowly im seeing more and more of them in the wz's, a bit like the sorc/sage fests i saw before they got their nerf in 1.2. The nerf from 1.2 made sure the sorc/sage fests vanished and its slowly becoming time that the growing ammount of mara/sent fests get one. And the scoring in stealth is ofcourse rubbish, it is however a very nice ability to reset.
  20. Havent noticed any real change on my server (luka sene) yesterday, where pvp mostly starts arround midday and ends arround 1am, and that timescale for pvp hasnt changed much for many weeks now. I surely am hoping for cross-server as soon as possible ofcourse but i also remember the early days of pvp in WoW and its not nearly as bad (at least not on luka sene).

Same exp here, when getting into cover it appears to happen most of all when your moving/rolling towards a cover object, at least i didnt exp the problem when your going into cover at the position your standing, so during the last 2 days of pvp i simply learned a new skill with this wich is avoiding cover objects when you wanna get into cover ^^
