  1. Left Wow about 3 years ago, returned to WoW last June, started playing SwTor and cancelled WoW during pre-release. I'm enjoying SwTor right now, but can't say I won't return to WoW or DDO or Runes of Majic, or EQ2 or some other MMO that I feel like switching too at some point.
  2. The OP post nailed it. Everything I was thinking was put into that post. THANK YOU!!!
  3. Fishing - I get Fishing. I like having something else to work on instead of the storyline. I liked the possibility of something dropping that I wasn't expecting. Most importantly, you were interacting with the game environment outside of killing things. Swimming - I get swimming. I was disappointed when I started running out to the middle of the water in Ord Mantel and it came up to my knees. Again, it's about interacting with the game environment. If you have a lake or ocean in an MMO... people are going to try to see what's under the water. It's kind of disappointing when this huge body of water comes up to your ankles or knees. I want the world around me to be more than just background graphics. This game has a huge amount of potential. It's a fun a game. I love it. I choose to play this game over the other MMOs because I really do enjoy playing it. but, I'm surprised that an MMO with the epic name of Star Wars is missing common things you find in most of the F2P MMOs.
  4. I didn't know about this... and I don't have a problem with it. I call it resilience. It's not that players problem thats a workable exploit. Again... why would this be an issue for bioware to handle? It's a jerk player, but again it's part of the game. And if you're playing on a PVP server... it is the game.
  5. On the OP I would say a voting system is needed to keep that much power out of the hands of one person. If somoeone wants another to be kicked... everyone votes on it in the group.
  6. IMO, dugneon finder made WoW boring. Now, you have a bunch of people doing nothing except waiting around for the next dungeon instance. It made lvling to easy and gear to easy to get. I consider the FP or heroics just part of the game... NOT THE GAME. I have a funny feeling the people that continue to complain about this issue really don't have a problem picking up a group for 1 instance of an FP, but they want to do mulitple instances of the same FP the same night.
  7. I've been running this game since early release on a laptop I bought at Walmart on clearance with no problems. Strange
  8. I believe the OP makes a good point. It's not something I will quit the game over, but I can see people leaving because the planets seem sterile. Hell, DDO even had weather and night/day. It just adds to the game play... but I'm not sure the storyline movie cuts would jive with it. It wouldn't be cool if the movie is taking place during the day... but when you cut out it's night. I guess it's up to each player to decide if the little details are make or break issues.
  9. I bought the Deluxe Edition and it was painful to hit the purchase button not knowing what to expect of the game. I'm glad it has worked out. I do enjoy the game and will continue my subscription until it's no longer fun. I'm not sure why people would give up so early on game when you paid $150.00 for it.
  10. Yes. I really do enjoy the game. It's a better experience if you have someone to paly with. As long the devs continue to add material and fix the issues that need to be fixed. I am happy with my investment.
  11. Actually, the movie theatre industry is failing.
