  1. The soultion would be a simple change in how mm works. It should try to stack full team of 50s if possible, if not then fill with lower lvl players trying to fill spots using higest lvl players. This way lowbies will be always stacked with other lowbies while players closing to 50 will have a chance to play in big league from time to time.
  2. I strongly suggest to try pairing with a power tech with a spec that can use rocket charge. Marauders are my favorite class to pair. They are always in guard range and decent ones kill peoples faster than i can refresh my stuns.
  3. In group sorcs/sages and mercs/comandos. Main reason is synergy stacking and that clases who are natural counter are much less common in wz.
  4. Its not that funny in full champ. It ticks for about 650hp for me. My PT can live throu 3s graple root in flame pit if i blow cds and still have enough hp to score with a bit of luck and carbonize. I can also walk throu flame pit using medkit+kolto+shield still having about 50% hp left.
  5. Well another update. Moved those points from iron fist in to flame barrage to test another sugestion. Unfortunatly the free punch buff proc rate is simply to low on flame burst to validate such big burst reduction. 8% is only on paper considering synergy its almost 15% dmage increas on rocket punch dps. Aprox 20% base crit ,+30% from flame shield(i am almost 100% sure this increase ignores any crit rating soft cap if it exists), 15% increase from 5/5 combat tech. 65% base crit rate. To it we can add 30% surge bonus from surging flames bosting base value to 80%.
  6. Mercenary dps rotation in pvp and pve is almost a no brainer. Its soo easy to learn the basics that propably a monkey could do it and still top the charts unless someone more skilled and geared shows up.
  7. Actualy he is corect. To make it even more funy this bug persist when removing the armor. I think it works back as it should after changing instance.
  8. I was lvling in similiar spec and its doable with mako while wearing tank gear.
  9. Its not an issue of the ability but class stacking. Tho the force speed CD is way to low for its utility. The hard counter class to a sin/sorc in b..tball are powertechs that are like outnumbered usualy at least 4 to 1.
  10. Ion gas damage is pathetic. Only points worth puting in to it are ones improving its utility. Base dot duration is long enough to apply a rail shot and a retractable blade dot. The ion screen coment is a valid point. I am moving those points to get 4% damage debuff. Flame burst is a basic spamable attack against any thing that uses meele. It can be used on the move it has more range than 90% of meele moves. I am always trying to not get below 4m unless rocket fist is off cd or i want to refresh retractable blade dot. Its considered fire attack and ignores armor.

  13. Its more a shutdown build than dps build. Dps is lower than in pyro but the mobility and cc potential is insane due to all cd reduction. It reqires a lot of situational awarness. For example when i see someone fighting 1v2 i drop a taunt dart + explo dart, then grapple second guy and lock him down. Same whith finishing runners if i land a crit my rocket charge can get up to 1k, immobilize is granting me another 1k+ hit from rocket punch followed by another 1k+ rail shot. Flame sweep combined with carbonize does wonders vs clusters. Ill try to make a vid once i get my full champ.
  14. It should benefit from flame shield, flame surge. It could also have a synergy bonus with oil slick. Something like if target is affected by oil slick, heat blast will put oil burns dot along with a high amount of threat.
  15. It all depends on build. Pyros are more or less dps focused with limited utility and mobility. Shield tech i more focused on utility, staying power and mobility. Advenced prot is sustainability, mobility tree with some extra utility.
  16. Build updated. Moved 1 point from hot iron to retractable blade for additional anti cap utility.
  17. Yes heat managment is better but its geting much harder to get demolisher medal. Might swap those points once random gods finaly grant me rest of my champ gear or i will hit 60 valor and medals wont be priority anymore. A small word about pve. Soo far i have tanked in this spec directive 7, battle for illum and false emperor normal in my pvp gear. Once i can be bothered to do enough dailies and make a pve set + implants,link etc ill try to do some HM.
  18. 75k is not hard considering death from above and insane crit rate on flame sweep. Rocket punch crits can cross 2,5k with a red buff on lvl 50 sorc/sage.
  19. I tried it but decided to prioritize direct damage over dots and reduce staying time under 4m to min. Hitman is actualy main reason i went for ST/AP hybrid build for first time. Those 2s are making a big diference vs almost any caster class. Soo far the class giving me most trubles are snipers/gunslingers due to cover/entrench making most of my cc useless thankfully their mobility is very low. Pure healers can out last me till i run out of heat but usualy the fight is decided by that time. Marauders and dps sins are usualy a very close fights decided most offen by cds and crits. Operatives/scoundrels are purely based on my cc breaker cd.
  20. Power techs/vanguards that are shield tech speced can run out of steam very fast they are build around gaining their resouce on shielding an attack. Ofc with current mitigation rules most common wz cleses abilities cant be shielded. Pyros and adv prot dont have such issues but tanks very offen have to vent heat to kill someone.
  21. Yeah only good things are neural for pvp. Ion screen cos its providing flat mitigation. Overload is just to provide dot for rail shot and is a must late game. You cant hope that someone will always provide a dot when rail is up resulting in wasted dps.

After experimenting a bit with my previous build decided to make some changes considering how mitigation currently works. http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#301GRGobMboMZrcrroZb.1 One point in shield vents can be moved to oil slick for a bit more defence vs meele or in to hot iron to get a little more dps. Against ranged considering all the slows and knockbacks i found out that you have higer win rates when using that gcd to dump some extra dps on target. Points in hot iron can be also moved to jet speed. Had them there for a while but found out that considering amount of cc and that usualy first reaction after charge is a hard counter either root or stun its very offen wasted. Would prefer this talent to be changed to 100% chance to remove roots/slows when using rocket charge. Why not rebraced armor. Becuase it is providing only a 3% armor related mitigation increase. Why kolto overload. Previous incarnation had no points in it and i have noticed a supprising drop in my staying time without it. The reason behind it is not extra absorb but that it is sharing cd time with shield. Both skills can be bound to a single mouse macro along with defensive relic if you have one. Its like press a button and for 10s you get 120hp/s in my current gear with 25% extra flat mitigation. In a fight vs sin that deals mostly kinetic/enegy. If he does lets say 1000dps burst. You are cuting about 75%. Reducing incoming dps to 250 - 120 hp/s. 130 incoming dps for 10s. Skiped both supercharged gas and prototype cylinders due to pathetic damage it does.
  23. On fist its possible. I can cross it sometimes with either my surge relic on or wz red buff. I suspect i will hit reliably for 2,5k on medium/light armor users once random gods grant me finaly my pvp pistol.
  24. The problem is that with soo many 50s in pvp gear the competivity lvl is growing rapidly. My main was doing wz daily pretty much since he had his advanced class. Last cuple of days i was lvling my toons and difference now and then is extreme. My toons were sometimes 4-6gcd by those 50 champ ppl. Their dps was gimped due to common mises/parries/ even resists on 100% base acc abilities. In on huttball my toon was only below 50 in the match and was completly ignored. He barely managed to get 60k damage.
  25. Yes and no. Our energy shield provides 20% 5% from tank stance 4% from talents + sorcerer buff. Its quite a lot.
