  1. This x1000. Watchman is and very well may still the dominant pvp spec. These changes won't make us that much better. If you were having focus issue with force kick or awe you were doing it wrong. If you weren't already using leg slash and only relying on the burn slow you were doing it wrong. These are nice perks but hardly big changes.
  2. I just wanted to add a response to the OP that posted the questions this guy is responding to. If you are a Sentinel ITS IS YOUR JOB TO STAY ON HEALERS. You have a ton of interrupts and the ONLY HEALING DEBUFF in the game. This is hardly 'padding' your numbers. Also you should be looking for classes that you know you can easily pwn. There are only 8 players max on a team, if I can quickly knock down that number by a few that gives my team a huge advantage. What I can kill easily may be the counter to some of my teammates. Rock meet paper.
  3. It is not BS though and people have screenshots. It is also not helpful when some of the people complaining say they struggle to break 200k. I am sorry but that is a player issue not a class one. If 200k is rare for a player they just suck period and overbuffing a class will only try to hide that fact.
  4. It was a lopsided match that provided optimal conditions. If anything 800k dmg is bad because it shows your team's inability to kill anyone. 1. Enemy team's dps was garbage 2. Enemy team's 2 healers busted their *** allowing you to use their dps as training dummies for the entire match.
  5. More like -Master Strike bugs fixed -Force Kick no longer bugs out and triggers GCD when its supposed to be off the GCD
  6. This is a very important point that I would have to agree on. BW is sidestepping a very big issue with this game. With the game's current controls and UI even, they realize they can't design very complicated encounters because it would be unplayable with the UI and engine. As for PvP the implications are obvious.
  7. There is the groundwork foundation in this game to be like that but currently as is, it is not. From a casual aspect it is similar but for those looking for a challenge WoW's top tier end game is by far much much harder in both PvP and PvE due to the current game design not supporting the required rankings and difficulty tunings. I'm not voting for or against this game, i just saying if you are talking difficulty, this game isn't close to being difficult enough to other MMO's endgame.
  8. To give WoW some credit though, the beauty of that game is that it is as hard or as easy as the player wants it to be. There is always something to strive for in the tiers or within the community (i.e. clear all hardmodes? okay now hardmode achievements? okay now apply for top world 100 guild? okay now be the best player within that guild, etc). Or it can be as casual as you want for those that are older and with less time and you will still be able to see most of the game's meat content and still feel somewhat rewarded. If you want to take the easy road that game lets you. If you want to be super hardcore top 100 in the world that game and its community supports that too. The game has two completely opposite sides.
  9. High ranked, low ranked, the gear is all the same and bought with rated commendations. The only difference is a cosmetic difference for prestige purposes for those with a higher ranking with WZs. Stats will be the same so if you put in the time you will have the same gear. If want the prestige colors then you have to actually win and climb rankings.
  10. Not really. Warlord gear is bought with rated WZ commendations. The only difference between being a high rated player and a low rated one is purely cosmetic because some gear sets will have a different color scheme restricted by ranking. According to the Guild Summit, the stats will be the same. It is a prestige reward system.
  11. And yet this whole game was rushed
  12. Have you actually watched a real sword and gun fight? Please link if you have because I haven't. Also it seems like the guy running around is killing you and not other way around. If it only took a "modicum" of extra effort why don't you do it? O wait, you lack the skills to do so. Sorry man but it is no "illusion" if you are dying from it because the other player is able to put in the extra effort. Not everyone wants to just play with only a keyboard. Yes latency can be an issue but I get a feeling that is not why you are dying.
  13. Devs clarified that Valor rank and titles are intended to be a reflection of pvp community participation not skill and therefore would have more cosmetically orientated rewards.
  14. Will character transfers become available for players on low pop servers looking for rated pvp teams?
  15. Will there be lower valor level requirements for gear with the introduction of a new tier of gear that has a greater stat difference?
