  1. ...HATE the Players can no longer assign keybindings to toggle off music and ambient sounds. These can still be adjusted using the sliders in the Preferences Window. I was really used to it, ctrl-s to switch music sound ON and OFF, for when I had a conversation, or for everytime I needed it, to alternate between game sound and other music ecc... Why did they remove it? I mean, I know it was a pain that you couldn't remap these keys (for someone...maybe?) but at least you should have LEFT the option to KEEP it. I liked it, there was no reason to completely remove the possibility of keybinding them. PS: can't check if it's really working this way, my server is offline.
  2. Wait, are you sure the solo ranked queue will be removed? I thought it was only delayed. There is still the "Ranked Queue solo" option in the PTS. Did they say they are going to remove it?
  3. Keep in mind Rage Marauders have an additional 7% damage reduction from Talents.
  4. I was wondering - how do you think they'll obtain a performance optimization? They can either a) do something with the engine (improving it somehow) b) do how they optimized Civil war in 1.2 - decreasing the number of effects showed (for example, they decreased the rate of fire of lasers) in the world c) add new lower graphic options. Or maybe a mix of these.
  5. What is more annoying? Trying to chase someone that escape and that will probably melt if you can attack him, or be chased by someone that we don't have a chance to win against, and we are forced to blow our only 2/3 min defensive CD to escape you? Think before posting.

Cute, but you forgot Marauder also have: Obfuscate - 90% less accuracy on white attacks for 6 sec, useful against all Sniper attacks, and some attacks of Jugg / Powertech / Mercenary / Operative / Assassin. Berserk: When you have it activated, you can heal for 18% of your HP, not bad at all isn't it. Also, you are comparing Anni (that can do a lot of damage) with the immortal spec, that does NO damage. Also, no one use a shield in pvp, it doesn't even work properly. It's one of the most biased posts I have read in this forum (well, it's full of them to be honest)
  7. 16v16 is just zerg vs zerg. A 16v16 is better for a warzone I think. Anyway, I don't like Open World PVP, BUT I'm HAPPY if they introduce it, because other people like it. See what I did here? Yes I support OW Pvp even If I don't like it, because i'm not selfish and if people like it, they deserve to have it. We can have both btw. PS: 2v2 is bad, 4v4 is fine imo.
  8. Did you spend points into [sedatives]? I heard that if you spec for it, when Tranquilizer wears off, you get in combat because it gives a debuff to the mob.
  9. Yes it would be quite good. 2v2 is really imbalanced though, while 4v4 should be perfect. There are a lot of people that want it, at least it's something different than WZ (yay for more pvp option?) and "easy" to implement, since the engine can handle it.
  10. Nice video Adlez here, operative healer, if you remember me. I see you use Crouch instead of Take Cover, am I right? But I guess the second one is probably more useful for healers than dps.
  11. I hope for something like an Arena. At least it's something different than warzones, and fun! But a small scale / 4v4 warzone would be ok too, for me. This would be a good idea, in theory, but have too many problems. Friends that have the same classes, or people in a guild that have the same classes, can't play together, and it's bad. After a patch called "Allies" I doubt they'll consider it.

  13. The problem with Codex, is that you CAN'T see which codex entries you are missing, so you can't do them. An achievement system can be entertaining. For example, in the PVP achievements / codex, you can have things like: - Win 600-0 at Civil War - Win Novare coast with your team at 2% - Score 3 times in one hutball - Gain a total 5000 medals from warzones - capture 3 turrets in a single Civil War ecc...
  14. Face it, the classes in this game are easy (some are just a joke). If another class take 20% of my "brain power", but a Marauder take 30% of it, it's harder yeah, but it's still easy. And since I have the best defensive cooldowns in the game, and awesome burst or sustained damage, It's easy to perform better with it.
  15. Yeah, wowkids need to show themselves this is the problem! Not the fact that, to duel, you need to: take your ship get a loading screen select the planet and go in the planet (loading screen) go outside the spaceport to duel go back to your ship, loading screen go to the imperial fleet again, loading screen.
  16. If they do an Arena, it shouldn't be 1v1, but 4v4 or eventually 2v2. There was a suggestion to add a Duel Area in the fleet, it seems a better idea.
  17. I'm still wondering why the hell they gave Marauders, a Warrior class, a little "Vanish" it just doesn't make sense. I mean, what were devs thinking? meh It's worse than Operatives / Assassin's one but at least it has 1/4 of their cooldown.
  18. I think that when shock / project proc another 50% shock / project, the damage of both is considered a single attack. It's insane damage anyway.
  19. I agree, 4v4 would be perfect, 3v3 and 5v5 don't make sense. Maybe 2v2, but just for fun. Well, few commendations for a match would be nice, but it would be fine even without them.
  20. If you Pug pvp a lot, you'll be always focused as healer, it can be frustrating at times depending on the enemy team's skill level.
  21. Yes I agree, with a second monitor there are no problems browsing while playing.
  22. Great idea, but it would be a good thing if we can also decide if queuing for a 4v4 warzone (need some rework here) or a 8v8 one (or just both). It would be harder to do though. Nice idea too, Aion had something similar with "double XP week-ends", and people loved it.

    Outlaw's Den!

    In the early 1.2 patch, the "Outlaw den pass" was sold by the PVP vendor, and it allowed you to get teleported there. I have no idea why they removed it.
  24. There will be (maybe) the "Field respec" legacy unlock. No one knows what it does, but it may be the closest thing to a dual spec, and should come with the 1.3 patch.
