When I value the difficulty of a game (aside the PVP part, of course), I consider how it's hard to level (Are the mobs hard to kill? Do I need a strategy or I get killed?), how much difficult are the istances, how hard are the bosses ecc...
If it would take 3 months to reach 50, but with easy quests, killing easy mobs that dies in 1-2 hits, now this is Tedious, not hard at all.
If you respec you spend money (almost all of them atm), and to gain money, you need to farm them, which is not difficult, but tedious.
