  1. Well, that meeting involved Doc and my JK is trying hard to forget anything to do with him. It's probably the same for Kaliyo.
  2. She doesn't really do all that much in the story like the rest of the Jedi Council members. The JK/JC storylines are full of them doing nothing and delegating everything the the Jedi PC. This happens to some extent on the Sith side but they had Darth Marr who was pretty involved for an NPC. Has Satele ever actually given another Jedi crap for not being celibate? I don't remember anything standing out.
  3. Standing on your ship in the same spot you left them? They'll just be a bit dusty.
  4. Dunno, but I'm done in a few days when my sub ends. Good luck to those who are still going to wait around.
  5. I'm happy with the overall quality of the answers. I can tell that they've been reading these threads presenting concerns/issues with the AC. As for the answers relating to dps changes, it's a start at least. I still have some concerns but will take a 'wait and see' approach when 2.5 hits. I agree...the damage boost to maul at least is probably unnecessary. Right, I think this uncleansable mechanic will (in practice) best benefit ACs that rely on tech based DOTs (Lethality). Madness needs some kind of burst instead of this.
  6. Yeah, I haven't been getting many arenas in the regular queue. I think yesterday was something like, Voidstar, Voidstar, Civil War, Voidstar, Civil War, Novare Coast, arena, Voidstar, Civil War, Civil War, Huttball, Voidstar, arena, Hypergates, Novare Coast, Hypergates, etc. So, like 1 in 7 or 8.
  7. I don't see why respec can't be allowed for the regular queues. I assume there's no matchmaking in those, correct? So...lets see, if you spec heals and queue up for reg then get placed into a 4v4 arena with 2 other healers you can't even respec to dps...yeah that sucks...or you'll have teams with 3 tanks/1 dps, etc. I think respec in regs helps with the randomness of the matchmaking. For the ranked queues (solo or 4 person), keep respec out of there.
  8. Nah, 2.5/2.6 will be CLASS BALANCING patches (or that's what they say ) and they'll finally answer the Shadow/Merc class questions around that time (if we are lucky)...no time for companions.
  9. They are slightly different from the PTS in that the PvP gear is black now...I guess that counts? But yeah, the models are all the same. They even replaced the PvP PTS warrior armor model with the knight one so now it's less diverse overall. Edit; nvm they are exactly the same...looking at the wrong thing.
  10. Don't know...haven't heard anything in a long time. No one does atm.
  11. Well, personally I'd like them to add in new companions as I'm not overly thrilled with most of the existing female options (for most of the reasons discussed already) XD So I'm not super married to the idea of going 'herosexual' with current companions but was just curious as to why you didn't like it. I do wonder if future companions would be implemented that way (or just the female companions as they always have to be available to both genders).
  12. Well, he's not a romance option though (kind of like Aveline in DA2). I'm speaking more along the lines of companions that are a romance for some but not others (the only discriminator atm is gender). I don't see why the actual romance options (where they go ahead and fully implement a romance path with a companion) should be wide open for any PC to pursue...oh wait, except if you picked the wrong gender at start. Romances in these games seem to be nothing but 'catering' (though I don't think that's a bad thing) as they are really unnecessary and you could argue that better time could be spent writing non-romance dialog for the characters (and could lead to better character development and all that). The romance options are easy to pursue if you want them (as long as you picked the right gender, ofc). They even adjusted gift affection rewards for the romanceable companions to make it easier to go through it (so yah, if you are super dark side you can still romance Mako by gifting the crap out of her, for example). Lots of catering going around (moreso for heterosexual male PCs) and I just want my share.
  13. That's fine. But having a 'playersexual' type system doesn't necessarily mean the characters can't be written well. I still have an issue with this 'catering' idea. It's already there in spades (for those playing heterosexual PCs) but I don't understand the issue with going one more step and removing the last romance restriction (gender) in order to cater to those that want SGRAs. This seems like a double standard.
  14. The game is like that already and the only thing stopping you from getting the romance your character wants is gender (nothing else)...that's not how it works in real life. Or, do people in real life have a 'dating check list' with just gender on it? "Hmmm...they are male, check! Okay, I'll date them.'
  15. Hmm...I hope this means Shadows and Mercs will get the best answers ever!* *I'm also incredibly biased as these are the two ACs I mainly pvp on atm.
  16. So...what is the point of having heavy armor only on your shoulders? Are all your vital organs up there? I like to wear my heart on my...shoulder.
  17. I've done her whole dialog path with a female Inquisitor and never saw any hint of this.
  18. Hmmm...yeah. The should have introduced her character a bit earlier and tried to do too much on one planet really. I do agree that she has one of the worst recruitment missions (if not the worst). It's probably something else I would headcanon fix in the Inquisitor storyline (along with, the entire third chapter). Shadow tanking tree but I'm guessing most play sages around here XD As a Sage with Tharan, I'd say use the Balance DPS tree to start off with. The Telekinetics tree is a bit awkward early on and there would be no need to go healing. As for the Consular story, I really liked it but I do enjoy playing the super duper heroic good person and it seems to fit that the best. The Consular story seems like a better overall 'Jedi' story than the Knight one.
  19. It's hard to say at that point. You only get to see a few holo-recordings of her training sessions (and she definitely doesn't seem like the model Jedi student...she's proud...arrogant even).
  20. The female Knight VA is a lot better than the Consular, imo. It's one of my favorites actually. I wouldn't worry about Kira not 'pinging gaydars'....I don't see why it matters considering that they will never add in companion romance. Unless you are talking about headcanon and being unable to do it. I surely have no issues adding in a F!Knight/Kira headcanon romance though One in which she really doesn't want to go back to the Jedi Order. Of course we know that she can go back (they'll accept former sith lords into their happy little club).
  21. Nice vid...needs more node guarding action XD Thanks for reminding me that I need to use Mind Crush/CrD more often. ..bad at that.
  22. Force camo increases movement speed by 30% for all mara specs. Annihilation has a talent high up in it's tree that boosts it further.
  23. The affection system is awful and how much your companions like you is merely a function of how many credits you spend on them purchasing gifts. You can probably max out one companion's affection if you level pretty much exclusively with them. For example, my LS Jedi Knight got 10000 affection with Kira relatively easily only through story dialog but that's the only companion I used from lvl 15 or so. I had to spend lots of creds on the others. As a result, I just feel 'meh' about a lot of the companions...it's like, 'hey, you only like me cuz I give you LOTS OF GIFTS!!'
