  1. Yeah, there will be a season 2. Hope for something there.
  2. It's a larger problem with the shared class storyline. Of three dialog choices, there's usually only one option that is specific to your class and the other two are generic and show up for everyone. The class specific line is usually something along the line of 'rawr argh i'm a sith and like being mean and stuff!' for the sith classes. My LS Inquisitor has the same problem.
  3. I'm hoping they add the option to activate it again in the next season. I doubt it will happen this season as there are a few chapters left and they've been finished already. It is actually bugged as well so there's people who couldn't do it because of that (like me on my main character) and not because we didn't pick the right option (it never showed up). My character is single at least and not stuck with someone like Quinn...ouch.
  4. My character that got the bug went through the chapters in about a week too but it just so happens a new chapter came out in the middle of that lol. This character did the full SoR romance (though that doesn't change anything) and flirted with Lana in the first 5 chapters whenever she had a chance. In Ch. 8, I selected that [Flirt] option you're referencing but the kiss didn't happen for some reason. I thought it was b/c it depended on a previous romance flag being set but if you're saying you didn't ever flirt before that and it worked...well, that might be another bug then.
  5. It gets broken by every patch. From what others have said, her romance flags get reset with a new patch. There's also an issue with Ch. 8 too because of this. When the flags get reset, Lana doesn't rescue you at the end of that chapter like she should if you've flirted with her before. If you've taken a character past like, Ch 5 I think, you need to finish through Ch. 9 to lock it in or you lose it. This happened on my 'main' character, btw. So lucky I am. Since there's a patch coming up next week, I'd hold off on starting a fresh character (unless you finish through Ch. 9 before then).
  6. Probably so the SW had at least 3 race selections. I'm not counting 'cyborg' as separate from human. Zabrak probably fits best b/c of Darth Maul, as you mentioned. On the other hand, it would have made sense for any non-human race in game to have originally been available for a Sith Inquisitor minus the Chiss. But they wouldn't have wanted to give one class so many more race options. So, yeah, it was more of a game design reason than lore.
  7. I never heard of the Cathar joining the empire. They don't have a unified governing body so they haven't even technically allied with the Republic. I believe most Cathar formed settlements on Ord Mantell and Taris after being mostly destroyed by the Mandalorians back in the KotOR days. The ones on Taris failed eventually due to the Sith like Malak or the Empire destroying that planet (or stopping it from being un-destroyed). IIRC, on Taris, Imperial players can allow most Cathar settlers to escape or not after killing their leader. I doubt any of them willingly joined up with the Empire. Ones that are allied with the Empire are likely ex-slaves who were able to rise above their station for whatever reason. This would be my Cathar assassin in a nut shell. I think what has changed in the Empire is that they are now desperate enough to allow talented aliens and ex-slaves to serve or join the Sith.
  8. Not really. Not much happens with her story after Ch. 9.
  9. I would say so. They've been depicting her as more DS as the story goes. The romance isn't all that different with a Jedi but you do get less time together (before the expansion story). I find it a bit hard to believe a LS Jedi and her lasting that long but we'll see.
  10. You think they would even give us a chance? She seems pretty pro-Empire/Sith now. My LS Jedi got a bug and messed up the romance anyway...it's fate that it's not meant to be.
  11. No kidding...and how about a Lightside one? It's my hope at least.
  12. Just want to kill Skadge because I care about making the galaxy a better place to live in.
  13. I don't see a problem if people want to RP a sith who chokes the hell out of everyone, including Jorgan. It's your personal story and blah blah blah and it doesn't affect me. Not every sith would even care about the Alliance with the Republic and wouldn't lose sleep over possibly alienating them. My own Sith Inquisitor won't do this, and I'm hoping there's an option somewhere in between "It's okay you didn't listen, bro, no worries" and "I'm going to kill you, sucka, muahahahaahaha!". My Sith wouldn't kill him because of two main things: 1) She does care about making the Alliance work and right now, she (a Sith) is in charge of it while another Sith (Lana) founded it and holds an influential position among the Commander's inner circle. Your average Republic/Jedi member of the Alliance might have some concern that the Sith have too much power and might eventually use the Alliance for the Empire's gain. Executing one of your first major Republic recruits just doesn't look good in this context. Jorgan is likely considered a hero by many people in the Republic and is the leader of Havoc Squad and this could hurt moral among Republic Alliance members. I know Theron is an important Republic member of the Alliance, but since he's SIS, I don't think many Republic Alliance members would relate to him or trust him (from playing the Trooper story, most in the Republic military seem to despise having anything to do with SIS). This point really doesn't stand if you're playing a Republic player (especially a Jedi/Trooper) but for a Sith especially, it's something I would worry about. 2) I would expect members of the Alliance to improvise on missions to some extent. The Commander can't be around to give an order for everything. On the other hand, there are some orders that the Commander might absolutely need followed, no questions. Jorgan takes initiative while also ignoring a command and I think at that time, he takes on the responsibility for the mission's success. He'll need to justify his actions and a few things might be in his favor. First, was the mission successful? We don't know yet, but if it was, that's going to help his case in my eyes. If not, then it's definitely a big mark against him (still wouldn't kill him yet). Another point he could make is that the Commander was gone for most of the mission and is at the base while Jorgan is actually at the mission location. I'd expect he has a better sense of what's going on down there.
  14. You're not alone, OP, lots of people probably hate everyone (even Blizz). Kira's my fave though...the other JK companions can go jump out the airlock for all I care (except T7).
  15. Imagination beats anything they'd write anyway. I'm not sure why the Agent can't even try though.
  16. I'll have to play through this chapter with a naked Cathar Agent. #NekkidCatharSolidarity
  17. I think it would work if you already got past chapter 8. The bug seems to start there. If not, it's impossible to romance her now so you're SOL.
  18. I find myself warming up to Vaylin's character for some reason. Part of that might be because I feel bad about what Valky did to her. Another reason may because any discussion about her character revolves around those who hate her (and knock her physical appearance mostly) and those that just want to bang her no matter what.
  19. I don't think he's afraid of her as he's to arrogant for that. He does see her as a useful tool that he's starting to take for granted (like the Knights). What Vaylin gets from Arcann is stability and purpose in which would otherwise be a pretty chaotic life for her. I don't see her as some kind of secret mastermind that could accomplish much on her own...it might have been possible if Valkorian didn't cage her. That's why I think she might be concerned over Arcann becoming more unhinged. She might lose that stabilizing center. Her situation is similar to how Kaliyo feels when the Agent 'dies', though Kaliyo is more capable of acting on her own, obviously.
  20. I thought she was still caged off for the most part. Right now, she seems a lot like a tranquil Mage from Dragon Age except she still has some of her magic-y force abilities. Emotionally she's stunted, which is why I find romance with her odd...she's not truly herself. I don't remember what Arcann says exactly, but my interpretation was that Vaylin is still learning how to make the most of her powers in spite of what her father did to her. I don't recall her being completely free. I think that would be a pretty dramatic event.
  21. I had the same happen to me today (I was on a Sith Inquisitor). I never had issues before the last patch.
  22. I never had trouble with getting the romance active until today on my Sith Inquisitor (I made the same choices as most of my other characters that romanced Lana successfully). I wonder if something changed with the last patch?
  23. Yeah, I wish it was something different in that scene. My defector Agent wouldn't have much of a reaction to seeing Coruscant, I don't think, simply because she's never lived there or been there in person. But I would have liked different dialog options in that scene. Generally speaking, I do hope it comes up again in the future story. I'd be interested to see how Lana would react to it, for example (my guess is, she wouldn't be too happy...).
  24. There's nothing on that in this chapter either, though Kaliyo never cared either way if you defected.
