  1. Same issue, just ran my agent through X, went to the war room, went through the cut scenes, and now the chapter won't complete.
  2. Like it says up top, only noticed once chapter X hit and you had two customisable companions in a cut scene but they both reverted back to their original look. Any chance it can be looked at please?
  3. Heh - I just popped on to ask about this. So courting gifts still fubar, but romances look to be sorted?
  4. This bug has definitely been around sine pre 4.0, my Consular had exactly the same problem with Theran, and despite telling Doc to get spaced repeatedly, my Knight still got romance letters from him at the end of the class story, thankfully the bug hit during KotFE and they appear to have fixed it by mistake. Risha did something similar with my smuggler who romanced Akavi, but it didn't come off as quite so unsettling. It's not so much the bugs or how horribly creepy it can make your play through - it's the silence from BioWare that's the most frustrating, especially with all this supposed focus on story. For now my sub expires next week and I'm leaving it lapsed until they start some serious bug fixing.
  5. Best bet is to contact customer service via a ticket in-game or call 'em, they'll have a record of the purchases so can either refund the coins or sort the gear (probably refund the coins though).
  6. Oh get over yourself, honestly, you (and the ones agreeing) sound like pensioners shaking their stick at those damn kids on their lawn. Games of all genres are for anyone who enjoys 'em, if you want hardcore MMO play EVE, don't come waving your bits about in the forums of a story based MMO acting like you're some kind of magical omnipotent gatekeeper to the MMO genre. Not just directed at you, but anyone who seems to think people shouldn't be allowed to play games simply for fun, it's a game, it's for fun and relaxing, you want to make it more serious, then fill your boots, but don't think you can go about dictating what type of player should or shouldn't be allowed in your L33T hardcore clubhouse - it just makes you sound like sad lonely rage muppets (and not the good kind like Animal or Gonzo).
  7. Yeah - honestly it'd just be nice to know for sure if courting gifts not working means the romance is bugged so we could be sure which toons are safe to take through the expansion. Just don;t get why it's not been acknowledged at all
  8. Got 12 days left on my sub, think I'll let it lapse until this is sorted since right now nearly all my toons are staying away from KotFE until they do a bugfix, bonus I'll have more chapters to play (hopefully not a years worth though!). Best of luck guys n gals.
  9. I've submitted a bug report as well and PM'd a few people - be nice to know for example if they don't like corting gifts that means they're bugged at minimum, but right now only toons I've taken through KotFE have been unattached.
  10. Given the emphesis put on story, any news on the devs being aware of the issues with romanced companions and broken influence on courting gifts please?
  11. What it says up top, I don't know if this is tied into the 49 pages of romance bug reports that's yet to be addressed, but romanced companions gain no influence from courting gifts, this includes original companions and KotFE ones. In the case of Theron, Lana & Koth all of their character information sheets confirm they are in a relationship with the player character but they gain no influence from courting gifts. With original companions it appears to vary, Quinn & Doc do gain influence, but not the correct amount, Corso, Aric, Vector etc. gain no influence. None of the player characters involved have 'cheated' on their respective partners. Non romanced companions such as Talos & Nico do gain influence from the gifts, but at the same levels they did pre-4.0. This has been happening ever since 4.0 launched. Are the devs aware of it please?
  12. Have to admit I'm mystified too by what the devs prioritize responding to - be nice to at least see it appear in the bug list
  13. I popped a question in their too - whether it'll get noticed...
  14. Hey Eric, would you be able to comment if the devs are aware of the multiple borked romance flags in KotFE please? More info in these two threads http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=843854 http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=856254
  15. Chiming in to add - I'm still holding off on running most of my characters through the expansion until I know this is fixed. Of those that have been run through only one was romancing an original companion and she got letters from them and Theron along with the option to tell you-know-who she was sharing a bunk with one of them, but in a later conversation it mentioned she had lovers but did not know love, so who knows what's happening there. The other two had no romance or were romancing Lana. Given how long it took to fix the romance related bits for SoR I'm hoping the devs will be a bit more proactive on this.
  16. Except we do if we want any of the other companions that contact gives out. Like I said before, I don't give a monkies about 4X on my Consular, but it could stop me getting the chance to re-recruit Iresso in the future, which I do want so I have to play the 20 matches even if I wanted to reject 4X. I get you guys are fed-up with clueless PvE types in PvP but for us it's either do it (whether we want 4X/Pierce or not) or lock out all future companions from that alliance contact. What some people don't seem to get is there's no way for PvE players to reject PvP linked companions without doing the matches - and that's just bad game design.
  17. Glad to hear we're not making it a complete misery and personally I don't agree with people sitting matches out but I do get why they're doing it, on the rest: 1. I really can't agree with that - it prolongs the misery for the people who don't want to be there and will lead to more people spending more time in PvP doing nothing, it's also unfair for people playing say Rep on an Imp heavy server. Medal requirements I could get behind but definitely not wins. 2. I'm still not clear on how the bloster works, but you probabaly know better than me! 3. Newly crafted main and offhands (the easiest way to get 218 gear) was bugged without a crystal slot, I *believe* that's being addressed but it might explain why some people are playign with no crystals.
  18. Exactly - I don't want to be there, but if I don't do the matches all future companions in the chain are gone. Let me reiterate, I am trying in matches, but I'm not fast r geared so it's ulikely I'm being much help anyway. I'm sorry if that's ruining things for PvPrs but this one is down to the devs, not any deliberate malice on PvE players part. I don't agree with people simply sitting matches out but that's their decision. Guess what I'm saying is if you PvP players could cut us some slack, just for a while, we'll do what we need to do and move on, and hope the devs change the requirements.
  19. Just to chime in here as a PvE player who now run two characters through the PvP requirements - the reason some of us are doing it, despite not being fast or skilled (or in my case due to my hands being screwed), is that we physically can't reject the companion/skip recruiting them without doing the 20 matches. Why does that matter? Welp, if we don't clear that companion mission we don't get any further companion missions from that contact, that means all other companions that follow are locked out, so even if I didn't want 4X but want to get the mission to re-recruit say, Iresso, I won't get the chance because I'll never get the mission. I think the devs need to either switch it so you can reject the PvP-linked companions straight off or seriously lower the PvP requirements, down to say 5 matches or the medal suggestion someone posted upthread. I don't want to PvP, I don't want to ruin other players enjoyment of the game, but if I want to move the companion chain along for future returning companions I have to, and while I try, I don't have the gear, the experience or the physical ability to contribute the way many seem to be demanding.

  21. There's definitely something wrong with the schematics drop rate - I ran two characters through heroics last night (one Imp one Rep) and by the end of the evening I had 32 Ice Scrabbler Jerky schematics between them and no other types of schematics at all. If the devs are monitoring this there's currently six other threads about this scattered across the forums so is it possible to have a look please?
  22. I can definitely agree with this, the jawa junk in previous packs was incredibly useful and made up the times you got five of the same cyborg bits or a pile of space mission xp boosts that is was easier to delete than try to sell. Rep gave an added bit of fun to things, same with the cartel certificates - I would add to up the decoration drop to a slot all of it's own as the rates can be so low. Also what happened to the bonus gold item pack that was added to the more recent hypercrates? That was definitely an incentive to get them. On the supercrates, nope, the value's not there so unlikely to buy them, same for any future hypercrates unless they change.
  23. Same issue here, female BH, Mako at max affection, all convos finished. Logged in and she had a quest marker, was some brief dialogue then the quest appeared and cannot be completed. Mako has a conversation available icon next to her portrait but it doesn't trigger in any rest zones (cantinas, strongholds or ship).
  24. Hitting 50 and being mailed a big bag'o comms to buy your shiny new purples.
  25. NVM found 'em this year
