  1. They need to do it already. Everything in the game would be better, PVE and PVP (ground and gsf).
  2. Cool, thought it was a duplicate link. My bad. Will add to records.
  3. Dude stop forgetting the req reward :L I'm scrabbling my way up this ladder, slowly... Strike TDM Xi'ao - Rycer - Domination - The Shadowlands - 10 solo kills Xi'ao - Rycer - Domination - The Shadowlands - 157.9 DPS
  4. Because matchmaking hates me, I didn't get drak's group... Strike TDM Xi'ao - Rycer - Domination - The SHadowlands - 108,805 damage
  5. Man, some of us have kids to put to bed! Will be on as soon as I can
  6. I hate keeping all your alts straight . Anyways, this went off the rails at the end, not sure how, but here (scout domination): Xi'ao - Sting - Domination - The Shadowlands 37 Kills + Assists
  7. It's accuracy, which is hard to teach. Also it's completely different from flying the (I think) more popular BLC/cluster build. I'm still getting used to this build, and I have a lot of experience.
  8. Screw you Drak, why you have exciting mesas domination match the minute I log off? Conspiracy, I tells ya.
  9. Shout out to everyone involved in this match. I backfilled into the game at 100-400, then we rolled our way back to a 2-1 cap advantage ~700pts. They were still 200-ish pts ahead and would've won, but we neutralled B at 900pts on the timer and won at the end. Best dom match in a while. Well done, both sides.
  10. You know the mods will do **** all about it. The guy in this screenshot was reported multiple times, and he's still playing. Mature language warning
  11. The best way to use the time spent locking with thermite with your T2 is to take the time to swap to T1, so you can use that time to charge your ion/slug combos. Thermite lock against a bomber with a brain is not straightforward, and 20% shield bleedthrough for your allies is worse than 100% shield bleedthrough when you have ion rail eat an entire shield face, in the process clearing out the minefield protecting the bomber.
  12. This. It would be once thing if you had a key to swap to forward and a different keybind to swap to rear. But no. You MUST cycle to rear first. If you're already under fire from the front, that means the active is useless as a quick defensive cooldown. If you are under fire from multiple angles, it's also a bit of a crapshoot. All of it is a recipe for newbies getting themselves killed. QCS gives you defenses on demand, without needing to think ahead, and most critically, gives you the mobility needed to not take damage in the first place. It is, imo, unambiguously the best choice for new strike pilots, and because of the mobility benefits, even for veterans. Facetanking will always lose out to skillful piloting in gsf.
  13. Also, it should be noted that directionals is absolutely the worst possible choice for anyone that needs a "101" type intro to play. Getting the most out of them, hell, not accidentally prioritizing the wrong arc and getting instagibbed, is likely to be well beyond the capability of novice pilots, compared to quick-charge's effects. Never mind the enormous increase in mobility associated with QCS.
  14. The stuff around that first DO made me LOL. "Do I need this? Nah, it'll still be there after this kill." Nice video.
  15. Is that...a drone carrier with concentrated fire?! All records updated.
  16. I'm not going to do a point-by-point on this, but a non-T3 strike with directionals instead of QCS is trying to do something that is a bad idea in gsf: tank damage instead of dodge it. Fine for bomber/node work, but against a gunship, you're going to end up drained and dead.
  17. That defeats the point of reporting ties, which is to give as many people as possible a chance to make the records. It's not a problem for the other records because there aren't so many people piled into so small a space at the top. I'm fine with using a special rule for medals so the list doesn't get too difficult to maintain.
  18. I thought the build was suicidally aggressive, but not quite that suicidal!
  19. I'm going to figure out this build if it kills me. Scout dom dps: Xi'ao - Sting - Domination - The Shadowlands - 177.39 DPS
  20. I gotta say, I'd never thought quads and pods were *that* good till recently...must get better with that build Very enlightening, guys.
  21. Some awesome matches guys - best challenge in months!
  22. I don't really doubt you did it in a battlescout, but still...rules are rules for the ship boards, otherwise I'd be adjudicating tons of records for those. But this is more than enough to be on the general TDM records. Updated for solo kills, kills, and K+A.
  23. I highly recommend jousting him Maru, it's even more fun than playing cooldown chicken with Acrimous.
