  1. Please learn this map. (in-game tutorial is lacking) no more red-slicing-noobage (mostly it's the slicing of the battle mods)
  2. Thanks for that. I would agree a large number of players certainly share your sentiment. You definitely bring up a good point about the varying degrees of learning curve for different players. That was one of the reasons that led to the recent Ancient Hypergate video , (despite that WZ being out for a few years now). None of this is in any way an indictment of existing players, just hopefully a resource for people looking to improve. Ancient Hypergate Tutorial Link: *If anyone else has and idea for a pvp video, let me know.
  3. As with most warzones, for a team to be successful in Alliance Proving Ground, it requires that the majority of the team at least understand how the warzone works. Hopefully this tutorial is the quickest and simplest way to give players with less experience, the information necessary to contribute to their team's score.
  4. In this tutorial : explanations of how & why the new warzone, Alliance Proving Ground, is similar to Domination from CoD. here is the link : Note: There are some really good threads on the forums, so for any additional information regarding the warzone, please refer to the other posts. This is just a very intro-guide to the mechanics of APG **operative / scoundrel should dominate this map (in theory) AOE Flash + Roll = gg
  5. a quick tutorial for Ancient Hypergate a very simple explanation for Damage per Second These are just simplified breakdowns to make each topic a little bit easier to understand. For more detailed explanations of both, please refer to individual class guides and the stickies on the PvP forum.
  6. The Return of the Gree Event . . . and all that goes w/ it. updated OP w/ new links
  7. round 1: round 2: round 3: UPDATED 13th May 2015 Hollingsworth vs Xavy (single round) *I mispoke when I said Xavy was in pve gear, my bad[/ Hollingsworth vs Bestia (best of 5) *again, when I say "this is the 2nd duel" , it is reference to the 1st duel w/ Xavy. I was only able to record the first 5 duels between Hollings v Bestia **Bestia is in deception for all 5 , NOT Madness
  8. In the absence of cross server queues I propose a soft schedule for avid GSF enthusiasts to refer to in order to find matches. I know that for me living in California, for my mornings, I will tend towards EU servers, and around my mid-day, hit up the NA EC servers and especially for late night, I expect there to be a glut of pilots on Harbinger (until the cycle repeats itself). I know this may ask of some to re-roll and to start a hangar from scratch. And server lag will definitely be a factor for others. However, for the sake of growing the game and supporting the community, it sometimes falls on the players to find ways to make do with what the dev's have provided. Many people, such as Drak and Yallia have hosted such fun events as Super Serious, as well as Stock nights. And while those events are awesome, they are generally once a month, and some people may not always be able to attend. For a more consistent schedule, I would suggest these as loose times ( all times PST ) 04:00 - 10:00 = the Red Eclipse 12:00 - 18:00 = (One of the 3 . . Jedi Covenant / Shadowlands / Ebon Hawk)? 21:00 - 03:00 = Harbinger This is not to say that GSF queues wouldn't remain completely the same, as they exist today. Most people are going to continue to queue wherever and whenever they please. However, it would merely suggest that if your 'home' server happens to have a low population at any particular time, it is nice to know that there is somewhere you can go in search of a match. Further, this is not an indictment of the servers not listed. Each server is different and has unique players / games to offer. I would happily start on a new server if I knew I could consistently find matches whenever I wanted a queue (in a timely manner) Any suggestions / alternatives are welcome, and keep on q'iing.
  9. Couple of Super Serious matches from Bastion Thanks to Drak for the event Big ups to George and Yallias for group here were the last few matches

  12. Here's the 1 of the Deathmatches from Shadowlands . . Fun stuff
  13. Quick duel I had w/ Caldenti on Jedi Covenant
  14. And the early award for best matches (and subsequently best post-game gsf chat) is Shadowlands (between the hours of 5pm-10pm PST) I didn't get a copy of the match, but here's a snipet of the chat in case anyone missed it (was a sweet domination where pub side lost by 20 . . . great players on both sides, hard fought. . . gg. . . should just end there right?) http://www.twitch.tv/keensaucery/c/5829289
