  1. well if you join a guild there is a bank scheme available, but since your money is weightless do you really need an ATM?
  2. While they do have eyes on the side of there head, Flesh Raiders lack the risen skull of Rakata, my guess is that they are a genetically altered relation of the Rakata. Sort of a genetically tailored Gorilla, that the Rakata used as shock troops on their enemies.
  3. I don't see how Disney could do more damage than George Lucas already has, the prequel were style over substance, and the Toon Wars were dire, apart from the ocassional decent character. I mean how could Anakin Skywalker have a Padawan, at that point he was a Padawan himself, in fact I don't think he ever passed his Jedi tests.
  4. I don't know if there is a light side complexion effect ingame, but it is possible to change alignment. The sith warrior get two opportunities to reverse his alignment which completely reverses it, light to dark and vice-versa. You can also change it the hard way, by choosing the alignment you want, but if you leave this too late it won't work, ie if the choices you can make are less than your current alignment, but you won't know that unless you try. I would say if you have entered chapter 2 then you are probably better restarting. Also is it worth it, the Jedi Consular story doesn't change, but the Sith Warrior story does, I would research how much your story will change, via the forums here and google. And if it's just the complexion, then you can turn it off.
  5. I think it is a reference to the blending of Canon lore and Fan lore in your posts. If you click on the words they take you to web pages refering to such.
  6. The Krayt Dragon is on Tatooine not Dantooine, Dantooine is planet in Kotor2 with the ruined Jedi Academy and later the swamps where Yoda hides.
  7. No, it was after Kotor 2: the Sith Lords, it is in the history/lore of this game, particulary the Sith Warrior, Sith Sorceror and Jedi Knight games/stories.
  8. The Imperial medical droids are extremely polite, while the Republic med droids are curt to the point of rudeness. Given that the Republic is supposed to represent Good, and the Empire Evil, why are the Republic med droids rude?
  9. Back-stabbing, short term alliances, propaganda, vendetta's, complex webs of favours, alliances and grudges, social climbing, etc. Really interesting period to read about, wouldn't want to live then. Wasn't refering to the landscape itself, just the politics.
  10. Luke wasn't a Jedi at that point, also don't confuse a film with a game, a film has to make some nod to reality, were anybody can put on a piece of armour. The game restricts armour to balance the classes, in (un)real life a Jedi could calve through a dozen troopers or bounty hunters without breaking a sweat
  11. The politics of the Empire is reminiscent of Italy during the Dark/Middle Ages, the Borgia's, the Medici, etc. The Republic however is weak, it never really recovered from the events of Kotor and Kotor2, it has planets seperating from it, and signs of internal corruption and general incompetence. To say that the Empire is doomed at this stage is premature, or rather it is premature to say that the Republic will win, or even survive. While the Republic does get it's act together, IT IS A CLOSE THING, it almost fails numerous times. Admittedly the Empires social and political scene is self-destructive. But quite a few nations here on earth have been just as self-destructive, or lock into a mutually destructive path with another country, and gone on to survive. Besides the point is to experience the story, to get to know the Star Wars Universe, how is that pointless.
  12. Not exactly, according to the books they only popped in occasionaly, and had very specific advice but didn't pass on lore, Techniques or any real knowledge.
  13. The Sith Warrior and the Jedi Consular both go after the lost Czerka base, obviously for opposing reasons, then both go to Alderaan. I beleive the Imperial Agent goes to Taris, where he(or she) presumable has some overlap with the actions of the Jedi Consular.
  14. Technically Palpatine isn't her predecessor, this is set hundreds of years before Palpatine, so he is an inheritor if anything.
  15. Yes but according to other threads the codex misses some entries, something about the Sith warrior being the only class not to get a specific entry on one planet, and either the agent/inquisitor on another. and the republic classes have similar issues. Sorry can't remember which though.
  16. True, but apart from asking what films were called, it does fall under "Lore" even if it's in the wrong time zone.
  17. Thanks, as it happens I am playing imperial. Thats just the help I need, Thank You.
  18. This is a "Marmite" idea, some people will love it, some will hate it. Personally I think it would only work for the majority if you gained an extra companion this way.
  19. I found an unusual egg and want to hatch it out of curiosity. But searching Tatooine moisture vaporators for the "Refresh and Buff" needed has so far been fruitless. I have found where to hatch it, but no refresh and buff, has it been removed from the game, and if so how do you hatch the eggs?
  20. The clone wars is in the future with respects to this game, period droids tend to be clunky and slow, imagine playing as C3-P0, slow and annoying. Greivous could use lightsabers but not Force powers, droids do not connect to the force, and a Jedi or Sith without the force is not much fun. I agree more races would be fun, and I love the idea of Imperials be swarmed by hundreds of trooper "Yoda's". Out of interest what is Yoda's race called, please someone tell me?
  21. Not lax exactly, with little real information about the force, apart from what Luke had learned, they had too be more flexible. The only way to learn was to experiment, which meant that techniques were less polished, and mistakes were made. They had little or no lore, remember Lukes training was unorthadox and incomplete, Yoda didn't train him as he trained other Jedi, and apart from telling him to avoid anger, hate and fear didn't teach him to dampen his emotions or avoid romance.
  22. Headcrabs would be fun, but would be kind of limited to the Empire, taking over someone is so evil and Sithy. Krogans could work on either side, since they just care about fighting.
  23. But Droid as playable means no Jedi/Sith for that, and given how clunky the Humanoid droid move probably not Smuggler either, since they rely on agility for gunslinging.
  24. Not entirely sure, but there seems to be a random aspect or two, the first time I crafted a Lightsaber it came with an Augment Slot, and while most were at same level, one had better hilt mod.
